We came for a meal for 2 and we will definitely be back. We came when they first opened and we would have said 4* As it was still in its infancy however upon our return we are shocked at how good it is for an independent resturant. Friendly staff great food great drinks (different to the mainstream) we will happily return soon. Our only criticism was that the music was too loud and not at an ambient level, that being said we didn't request to have it turned down and we were under a speaker so it's our own fault. I would highly recommend this place!

Haven't been here for over a year as I'm sad to say that I thought the service and cleanliness had declined quite alot. It's local to me and really was a jem in the heart of Kinson when it first opened. The food was great and atmosphere too. We went another five times but like I say the last time was awful. Music too loud, loud birthday parties going on, slack service forgetting drinks and bringing wrong food and food was dry, tables were dirty too. It's looking very tired outside now so doesn't invite me back in at all at the moment. That being said I'll give it another try soon and hope they've improved. If you go on a good day and they've got their act together you might be satisfied

Was fairly quiet when we went, served by a lovely, helpful young lady who recommended the buffet taster selection - good choice, could try a little of most dishes on the menu. Food was good, relaxed atmosphere, good cocktails, reasonable price.

I've been here quite a few times now and the food has always been superb. I like chicken, a lot, and this place is the best. It's not cheap, it's not quick service (but always with a genuine smile) but the food speaks for itself.

These guys know their stuff, when it comes to Carribbean food , they are literally the best ... definitely in the south west, probably in the UK , London has a lot to contend with , every mouthful a pleasure , with a well stocked bar, a trendy atmosphere that manages to be hospitable and cozy at the same time, credit where credit is due , a lot of work has clearly gone into making this little gem punch well over its weight, I strongly recommend the kanes golden rum or the Mauritian pink pigeon, there is a flavor here that Shoreditch tries to emulate , but the tiki bar and grill ..... absolutely nails. Clean, friendly , expert delicious food!! Good times every times , a massive well done to who ever put this place together

Great again , been a few times and great as ever,food lovely and not your usual corporate stuff .Downside is prices gone up 15-20% with new menu but worth it for a special occasion. Service from Biggie and Chef Daniels always fantastic.
