F. K.An absolutely pleasure dining at the Urban Garden. The food was very delicious, we had a few starters to share and 3 different mains.
For starter we had the asparagus and the garlic bread, both were incredibly tasty. The garlic bread was simple but yet full of flavour and the asparagus was served with potatoes and black mayo, all played very well together.
The mains was very well prepared too, all with a lot of flavour and generally mouthwatering!
Absolutely worth a visit!
J. D.Our first visit to Urban Garden was so so delightful. Our party tried the fish & chips and the buffalo chicken burger. The fish & chips was great, but the buffalo chicken although served in a blackened bun was a bit bland. The accompanying beer and drinks were very satisfying.
G. B.Lovely place. Waiters polite and attentive . The cocktails are so good! Will be going back to make my way through a few more of them. Food was ok. Served very quickly. Toilets absolutely stank! Next time I'll try and hold on and use a toilet elsewhere
A.Only called in for a coffee this time, but been meaning to visit for a while and we will definitely return for a meal. The dining terrace overlooking the Lower Gardens is particularly nice with a roof and patio heaters. The view of the gardens is slightly obscured by trees but still very pleasant to sit, relax and watch the world go by. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Will return very soon.

Had breakfast here twice (Sat & Sun) Saturday - service was excellent, food was great. Banana Pancakes are absolutely delicious! Sunday - service was slow and not very attentive at all. My Urban Breakfast was missing bacon and butter(for bread) this was rectified after having had to ask the waitress. We wanted to have the pancakes again (as they were so good), which we ordered and got the fresh set of cutlery for... Only to be told 5min later - that kitchen has closed for 30mins - so no pancakes!
Overall, the food is great and the garden/terrace is lovely, but service could definitely be improved.
K. S.A nice restaurant to have a lunch if you’re visiting the seaside and looking for a quieter place away from the crowded centre. Although it wasn’t the best fish & chips I had, it was still tasty. The food was lacking a little bit of flavour and fish had too much batter. Staff was nice and they accommodated us despite not having the booking.
E. S.Amazing restaurant close to yet miles away from the busyness of the Bournemouth seafront. A must-do if in town. Very chilled atmosphere, trendy but not pretentious, friendly service and top-notch wood-fired pizza and craft beer. It sustained us on the standing room only journey back to London - no dinner required!:
D. B.Went here for my brother in law's birthday meal. Was unsure if they'd have many vegan options but they had loads! Also vegan options on the kids menu which was really great to see. My little one had a vegan burger and had the option to sub chips for potatoes and peas to make it a bit more healthy which was great. I was really surprised with how good the food was.
The terrace is lovely, I love all the plants and you get views of the gardens in Bournemouth.
Staff were very friendly and quick to respond to our requests.
Will definitely visit again to try out more of the menu!
P. W.Didn’t book but the manager found us a lovely table looking out onto outside area. Staff are excellent and fun. Food choice is excellent and very reasonably priced would give 10/10
