Huge portions and beautiful fish but a very long queue in the shop Visited a second time, also on a Friday evening. Food still great but the staff really need training in customer service. Ignored for nearly 5 minutes (was first in the queue); a simple "Hello, thanks for coming in, we'll take your order as soon as we can" with a smile would make such a difference. Really feels as if live customers come second to online orders. Of note that no one from the shop is giving feedback on the comments left here. Feels like they don't care about service at all.

Quick service, great amount of food. So much it’s hard to eat it all typical chippy with typical chippy food, fish and chips to sausage in batter, curry sauces and canned drinks available. On the bad side I’ve had chips that have been cooked and left in the heater too long, I’ve had a sausage that wasn’t cooked and then battered so it was disgusting to eat. But I’m putting that down as teething problems for when it opened first. Other than that it has been great and will be my main place to go get chips from

Delicious. No matter what I have its always first class. Not sure why people are having a go about the delivery drivers as they are ubereats or delivered! Staff friendly and will always go the extra mile to get your order right. Fantastic value for money too. Lots of deals from OAPs to students to family meal deals. By far the best fish shop in Bridgend and has won many awards, which are very well deserved in my opinion. I would recommend the fish and chips & the Irish curry is very nice too, especially as chicken curry. Also offer gluten free options & vegetarian options. 5 star

I got there just as they were closing and they still made me a large fish and chips (the three staff and I stood around waiting for the cod to fry) absolute stars. Great food and great staff. what a result. My new favorite chippy.

Fish is excellent, cooked fresh and usually huge. Chips are decent, as are the mushy peas and curry sauce.

So tonight ( by chance ) I came across O’ My Cod on Nolton Street, and I just have to say how impressed I was with the service that I received and also the cleanliness of the shop. Freshly cooked food at a very reasonable price, served by very friendly staff in a very clean environment !. What else could you ask for :)
