Went for dinner with friends last night. I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was massive and delicious and the chips were the nicest I’ve had in a restaurant. My friends had 3 starters each instead of a main. Everything was perfect. Large portions, beautifully presented and piping hot. Soft drinks were priced reasonably. Staff were friendly and helpful. I can’t think of a single negative other than we were all too full for a desert, which all sounded lovely! Overall I would highly recommend and I will certainly be back.

Nice people good food, convenient. The menu is a bit restricted but the choices have a bit of flair and some staples. Fast food it isn't thankfully. It's nice food cooked well. Add the lovely staff and it's worth a try.

I was treated to a lunchtime meal at the Caerffatri from my daughter and SIL. I had the small fish and chips, salad and garden peas, the portion sizes are extremely generous and the meal was beautiful. The bar member was so attentive and we had a quick chat to the chef who was very knowledgeable and very proud of his cooking. The restaurant is spotlessly clean. I could not have asked for a better experience, thank you all, I'll definitely be back soon x

Lovely restaurant, the young waitresses were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, it was nice and clean and a good atmosphere. I had a large party (16) so we pre-ordered before hand and I felt like a lot of the food was a little bit burnt (mainly the chicken burger and katsu curry) but the lasagna and steaks were cooked beautifully and the starters were all amazing and everything was reasonably priced. also got one £5 deposit taken off me as one member of the party didn’t turn up (I understand that’s the point in the deposit) but - it seemed a bit silly as the people that did come (16 of us) all had multiple drinks and starters and mains so I did think they would let us off that fiver, seemed a little bit harsh. Overall a decent restaurant, will probably go back in the future.

Disappointing Xmas dinner. 8 small prawns in my starters, Food all dished out in a bowl. Flooded with gravy which I’m not keen on and 2 sprouts. C’mon their not that expensive. 1 carrot 2 small roasts and a tiny bit of stuffing. Pudding not what I ordered. 2 meringues with a blob of ice cream in between and 3 frozen raspberries on top. No coffee and mince pies and not a glass of wine with food. Very poor for £85 service good even though things got mixed up Will not recommend

Went there for a Sunday Lunch as a family. Lovely food at reasonable prices. Mains £13.00, Starters from £5 to £7 and same for deserts. The menu is limited on a Sunday to Turkey,Beef,Steak,and Salmon. On the Special Board they had Belly Pork. Excellent customer service and food was served hot. Good selection of wines,lagers and beers. Well worth a visit. Car parking available but limited and spaces can be rather tight especially if you have a big car. If full plenty of space to park outside on the road.

Absolutely perfect!! Why would you go anywhere else? The staff are wonderful, cheery and inviting. The food is just astonishing, the presentation is out of this world, then the taste.... The taste is something else there is nothing samey it's all unique hand crafted dishes with their own homemade cheeses!! Definitely ask for the specials not if but when you go. We came to work away and it was worth it just for the experience of meeting the people at this family run business and having the luxury of dining there, when I come back to Wales this is where I will be bringing the family. Nice little gem hidden away from the main road (turn at ATS garage and take the next right). Small side bar room with a pool table and dart board, and large area for dining, food is really nice and well presented. Very friendly staff and helpful manager. Has a big car park outside where you can safely leave your car overnight, very handy!

If you're looking for anywhere to eat in the bridgend area then don't think twice about this place. The food is out of this world. I have an eating disorder but can find plenty without making me feel anxious. The staff are incredibly helpful and understanding and its beautifully modest inside with fantastic atmosphere. 10/10.

In spite of working in Bridgend for years until 2004, I'd never been here. Had lunch on 1 July 2021 and it was superb! My Mum and I shared the camembert and chicken wings and both were superb. The team was incredibly and helpful; when I fell in love with a canvas of New Orleans, the chef came to chat to me about it! Highly recommended. Thank you!

Don't be fooled by its outside appearance, inside is a lovely, well decorated, comfortable restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Just had a lovely lunch with a friend. Very well organised, tables spread out to allow for social distancing. Toilets signposted with one way system. The food was lovely with good friendly service. It was fairly quiet, I don't think many people realise it is now open. It is only outside seating at the moment, but if the sun continues to sign, definitely a nice place to relax and catch up with friends.

Me and my other half had a fab meal last night. Started with lemon haddock goujons which were beautiful. We had a huge mixed grill each called the runner up which was 40 oz if meat cooked to perfection. The sirloin steak was melt in the mouth. So was the chicken. There was a huge amount left over so we were given it to take away in a tray and had it for dinner the next day!! The lemon cheesecake desert was also awesome. The staff were very friendly. Went there for the first time since moving to Bridgend for my birthday and expected the usual standard and small portions that you normally get in restaurants so ordered several side dishes as well....I didn't need to. The portions were overly generous and the food was top quality, freshly cooked and NOT re-heated. All in all, one of the best restaurants I've ever been to and we've been several times since.
