Staff really nice and also very attentive and professional service. Meals are gorgeous and they can't do enough for you. Waiting time between starters and mains are adequate and you're not rushed. Also, still sticking to social distancing, hand sanitiser and wearing masks still adhered to. Very clean restaurant. If you're anxious about COVID then I recommend this place.

Great restaurant. Usually we come for the buffet, however, due to Covid restrictions, the buffet is only being run on Sundays. However, the staff more than make up for this with their friendly, chatty way and make you feel more than welcome. As always, the food is excellent, so we certainly will continue to go there!!!

Fresh quality food, Al a carte menu today rather than a buffet, my first time there today, I'll be back again. Some items a little more expensive but after eating I understand why. Staff were fantastic too from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Thank you.

Lovely as always. Staff are more than willing to help. Even making dishes that aren't already out on the buffet. Made my 3 yr olds birthday fantastic, bringing out a birthday cake and singing happy birthday. First time dinner as this place was suggested, food was good quality but I feel this establishment is more setup for a buffet than ala carte dining, mainly because of the poor table service and exorbitant soft drink prices. Once everything is back to normal I might give it another go if the buffet is back up and running.

Went for a Sunday buffet meal after reading reviews on here. Was glad we did. The food was lovely, nice and hot and fresh with plenty to choose from . Daughter in law loved the chocolate fountain for pudding. Husband and son ate themselves into a food coma lol. For 4 adults with soft drinks came to less than £80. More than worth the money. Lovely staff as well and very clean.

I really like the buffet here. Plenty to choose from and I've never had a bad dish. Salt and chilli mushrooms are fantastic. Oh! So is the lemon chicken. Oh! And the shredded duck wrap, sweet and sour chicken, and don't get me started on the desserts! Buffet starts at 5 but the place is open from 1 for meals from the menu.

Nicest Chinese restaurant I've ever been too. Very friendly staff. Always so welcoming and chatty. A great place to eat out. Food is always lovely. Amazing. EDIT. The desert menu could do with updating a bit. The same standard shop bought items such a little flapjacks and the defrosted chocolate cake and cheesecake are a bit boring. The strawberries for the chocolate fountain was a good idea, Bring them back !

The good is the food and the staff. The staff are very friendly, the food is very nice and there is a large selection of both main meal foods and desserts, if you like a bit of everything this is a great option. The bad is this isn't somewhere to get dressed up and go for a meal. It's very casual, people turn up dressed as they're going to McDonald's and there is no atmosphere. Also at £16 a head you have to be a big eater to get your money's worth.

Ok, where to start. The restaurant is situated all on it's own. The outside looks nice and oriental with it's tiled front and dragon statues either side of the entrance doors. A ok size car park. The restaurant inside is furnished to quite a nice standard. Plenty of larger tables for bigger party's. The staff are very friendly and willing, to make sure you have a great night. The buffet food is to a nice standard with plenty of different dishes. The staff replenish any low dishes quite well. The price is very good. We have been a few times now and enjoyed every time. Ate here at 18:30 on a Sunday evening. Mostly families with younger children, probably because of the 'kids eat free' offer. If you're looking for somewhere to eat, then this is an excellent choice. There was a fantastic choice on the buffet & the quality was excellent. If you're looking for a dining experience then there are probably better options. Overall we were delighted with this restaurant & would highly recommend it.

Consistently been there for the last 7-8 years once a week with my parents and girlfriend, and the food is exceptional. We order a la carte as we are strict vegetarians, and are very accommodating of our diet. Also have even given us custom made spicy salads and tofu/mock duck dishes etc. to try. Sublime. Had a great birthday party with a large group of friends and family. A warm welcome, pay for your buffet and away you go! All manner of choices of dishes. And all your favourites are here. Help yourself to a delicious selection from chicken, beef, pork, duck and prawn dishes. Vegetarian choices too. After eating your fill, help yourself to so sweet treats including a chocolate fountain. Plenty for the kids too in the freezer section. Highly recommended!

Family-friendly, fixed price Chinese buffet on the A48 a couple of miles from Bridgend towards Cardiff. If you don't fancy helping yourself from a battery of stainless steel heated containers, then other dishes are available to order. Either way, this a great place for a leisurely family meal or a quick visit when you're in a hurry. There's a bar, parking and super-efficient staff keeping the tables cleared and cleaned.

This is a great Chinese Restaurant on the A48 between Cowbridge and Bridgend. The Golden Well is a very popular restaurant as they serve all you can eat chinese. Choose from a wide selection of oooked dishes even Chicken and Sweetcorn soup. Then add a selection of sweet dishes what is not to like. They even have a chocolate fountain for you to choose fresh fruit that you can dip into the chocolate fountain...very nice it is to.
