B. V.Vibrant place. Quite busy and popular. Famous for ice cream. Love the ambience. Place is nice, staff is very friendly. Services are nice. Some options for vegans. View is nice from the top floor. Enjoyed the food and dessert.

Evening Meal - A welcoming and warm atmosphere along with immaculate toilets and eating areas. I Sat in the conservatory below vines covered with fairy lights I was given food that should have been award winning. The Mackerel starter was seasoned to perfection and accompanied with just the right amount of sweet beetroot and contrasting pickle. Set on a plate of fanciful wonder. I went for a traditional main of fish and chips. Again they have taken a traditional favourite and spun intricacy and interest into this culinary delight. The batter was fresh and fish cooked light and fluffy the pea purée was sweet and had a great consistency, it could only be bettered with a little more pea coming through. The whole evening washed down with perfectly blended Martini and lemonade was an experience I will be returning to soon! Thanks Hive
E. T.Amazing place! Great choice of breakfast. We had the Welsh Rarebit & Bacon and Full Breakfast. Great portions and filled our tummies. Staff is ever so friendly and helpful!
J. Y.While they had lost our reservation for Sunday lunch, they managed to fit us in, which was great. It was bustling, and the service was frustratingly slow, taking about 45 minutes to get drinks. Food was reasonable, although I'm used to getting a finger bowl when eating moules. Sticky toffee pudding could have done with either a bit more ice cream or cream. Chocolate milk shake was good

The harbour is very popular in tourist season so allow plenty of time to find a parking spot

K. W.Fantastic food! Extremely tasty and well portioned. Lots of choice to suit most tastes, both food and drinks... a good selection of gins, and cocktails. The best meal I've had in a long time!! Staff were friendly and eager to ensure a good experience was had. I highly recommend dining here!
R. S.Have a lovely meal at The Hive during the summer school holidays. 2 adults and 3 kids. We booked in advance and were seated inside upstairs looking over the harbour. The staff were friendly and attentive. Prices very reasonable and the food was excellent, kids portion sizes were very generous ! I had the risk it brisket burger which was very tasty and compares favourably with many burgers had back home in Bristol. Would definitely visit again.
