It's easy to see why this place has a string of awards stretching back over the years. Delicious burger patties oozing with goodness, extra hot spicy sauce hits the spot on a cold windy day and some piping hot fries to mop up the juicy leftovers. Plus good healthy chunks of pickle and jalapeño on the side.... Really... What's not to like!?

Very welcoming staff. The patty is really delicious. You can taste the flavour of real beef. I added 50p for the hot sauce (light) but I think I would choose hot sauce (regular) next time because light is not really spicy.

For my first time in Brighton, my friends and I decided to eat lunch at this place. The best burger I had in my life and I’m not exaggerating, a must try! 🍔

I make an effort to hunt down “craft” burgers in almost every town and city I go to, and although they’re all usually pretty good (it’s arguably hard to find a bad burger), the burgers here were absolutely outstanding. I’d even wager to say that they may well be the best burgers I’ve ever had: I tried “the Favourite” and “the Classic” and they both were completely unique. And just to top it off, the chap who served us was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Reasonably priced, incredibly delicious, you have to try them (photos don’t do them justice).

Absolutely deserves the hype! I had one of the best burger in my life no exaggeration! All the awards plastered around the shop are a good testimony of how great their burgers are. I truly believe that this is one the best burger in the entire country! It is that good really, a must try if you visit Brighton. About the Classic beef, the entire thing is pure magic but 3 parts really stands out: - The bun alone puts it in the top 0.1% of all burgers I've ever had, it alone could have made it one of the very best burger. - The patty is very soft, juicy and seasoned excellently, it's neither too thick or too thin and does not overwhelm everything else, this is a good thing and makes the burger very balanced. You can order extras if you like your burgers very meaty. - The cracked pepper elevates everything. This is an area other places skimp on and use stale peppercorns. Here I can definitely tell it's there and it's fresh!

Not only the best burgers in Brighton, but some of the best in the world (seriously, if anyone disagrees with me I need to know you're recommendations). Superb quality of ingredients, most fresh/local or made in-house. Extra patties have cheese included. And it's not assembly line rushed. If there is a wait, it's well worth it.

It is certain Burger Brothers makes their own patties and uses high quality ingredients, including the fresh buns. Their menu has a good range with no over-the-top burger combinations. As expected, it was very busy and we had to wait around 35 minutes from ordering food to receiving it. The member of staff taking orders was very friendly and would often offer extra condiments with no hesitation. However, personally, I've easily had far better burgers at better prices. I will most likely try other burger restaurants in the area than return here.

Open again, great news!!! Amazing burgers and now chips too!!! Very busy tonight - 30 mins wait after ordering (norm for them 5-10 max) but our timing was just unlucky for sure. We literally walked in after a load of people went in first plus they had phone orders coming in and going out. It was prime time too, 7.30pm Saturday night. No problem, we were happy to wait and the gents always keeps us happy and laughing. Top burgers BB, 1000000% worth it, always.

It was good value for money, especially given the location, there isn't much space to sit inside so it's more of a take-away kind of place, but there arw some really nice parks just around the corner. The service was great and very fast, the server behind the counter was polite and very helpful, and the food came quickly and well presented.

If you walk into their green door with no fanciful interior, you are there for business and that is munching the best Burger in town. They don't serve any fires, but boy the Burgers they make! What can I say other than the Benetton burger was absolutely surreal. Unlike any other burger in Brighton. It's a must try and makes other burgers pale in comparison. Probably the only downside to having this burger is I don't think I can go back to having any other ones! The Benetton burger has such an incredible combination of flavours. Starting with the sesame and pepper toasted bun, that gives it a nice initial burst of flavours, followed by the caramelised onion and balsamic glaze which infuses with the juice from the meat of the burger. An amazing combination the beef has a lot of seasoning and the Portobello with halloumi just completed the whole package. Finally to top of the whole experience, the service behind the counter was very friendly and helpful in recommendations. A 10/10 will definitely be coming back here when in need of a burger like no other!

Quite simply the best burgers you will ever find. I tend to go for the Benetton with haloumi, but sometimes I'll have the Classic Beef. Both are wonderful. The only negative about this place is that once you have tried it, every other burger you eat elsewhere will leave you feeling unsatisfied!

It was delicious, the burger has a great beef flavour and the bun stable enough to soak up the juices. Was this the best burger I've ever had? On the third visit I found the perfect order for me and if you are hungry I'd recommend it. It's just two simply jack's. For me it's the best way to have a burger just patty cheese mayo and ketchup. Not to be nerdy but the buns are perfect as tasty but hold well and soak up meat juices. Plenty of choice. If you can get small brioche buns I'd love to see sliders as an occasional special.

I was told the burgers were good so my expectations were quite high. And the chef managed to surpass my expectations. The burgers were amazing. The burger I ate there will probably shorten my life by a few day but it would be fair to say it was worth it.

One of the best burgers I've eaten at a very affordable price of 4-7£ depending on what you choose. The meat patty was cooked to perfection and it was super savoury, the bread is delivered every day from a nearby bakery and was delicious. I will definitely go here again.

Had a veggie burger with halloumi, incredibly tasty! Service is fast and efficient, was reassuring that vegetarian orders were taken separately to meat orders. I'm looking forward to going again! Only minor is that theres not much in the way of seating, but that can't necessarily be helped. Definitely worth a stop by for a burger to go!

Would like to see some sort of regular special burger on the menu that changes maybe once every month or two, as the core menu, while very nice has not changed in the 3 years I've been going here.

Very very good burgers. I would still rate the likes of 7-Bone higher, for the 'dirty' element. I would also say they're a little overpriced for what they are. An almost kiosk sized take away single burger should probably rarely be priced above £10 (for say a double patty with cheese).

A veggie these days but the veggie patty and halloumi options are just as delicious. Just go there, you won't be disappointed.

It was good don't get me wrong but not special as the reviews suggested BUT the next day I had the haloumi burger which was pretty spectacular, really juicy, really sweet, gorgeous - perfect.

Small place serving only burgers and no sides. But these burgers are excellent. High quality meat, cooked how you want, with a wider variety of interesting toppings. All adds up to a delicious juicy burger. Side note - the bun here is outstanding. What I was informed is based on challah bread, hope that is right, the bun is light and fluffy like a brioche, whilst sturdy and robust as a potato roll. A messy burger but a bun up to the task.

In what seems like a rather unassuming take away joint in the heart of North Laine you can find some of the best burgers in town! I had the "Simple Jack" the simplest and cheapest burger in there but was really impressed with the taste and quality. The shop also sells milkshakes but no sides. The right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings come together with a generous patty, such that every bite perfectly melts in your mouth. I had the Bennetton, with a portobello mushroom and chorizo. The place is small, but somehow everyone manages to be served quickly and to find a bit of space to eat. Friendly staff tops everything up even more. Go, you won't regret it.

Seriously, this is the best burger I've ever had. The meat is seasoned so well, the bap is so tasty too. My favourite is the burger with halloumi. If you're feeling peckish then just get a double patty! They don't sell chips (but check out BeFries close to the seafront for that) and it is a small joint too - just a few seats available, so it can get very busy and competitive for seats sometimes. They are constantly busy because they're so damn tasty - you may have to wait a bit but it is worth it.

Believe the hype. Had been told by a friend they did the best burgers he'd ever tried so gave the guys a go prepared to be disappointed. How wrong I was. Burgers packed full of flavour with a texture that flaunts the fact they use quality steak served in perfect brioche buns. The subtle sweetness of the buns really brings out and balances the savoury burger and fillings. With a minimal choice of combinations they keep things simple focusing on the flavours they know work. Kids hot dogs were heavily smoked meaning neither of my children liked the taste (4&9), as an adult it was better than a normal hot dog, just not suited for the kids menu. Burgers are always made to order and the service has always been very good. There's not much room for dining in with only 4 or 5 seats in very close proximity in the corner of the venue. You may want to check out Victoria Gardens nearby for a nice spot to eat (weather permitting!) Oh, and the smoothies are fucking awesome.

Firstly, besides some amazing (but small) burgers I had in Barcelona last year, Burger Brothers has provided the best burgers I've ever enjoyed. The quality of the ingredients was superb and the bun blew me away. I generally find burger buns to be too 'bready' but these were subtle yet tasty in their own right. The special glaze was a nice touch, too. ;) I came across this place by surprise and tried two items from their menu. Simple Jack - I'm not a fan of salad so I appreciated having a bare-bones burger without having to pay for unwanted extras. I thought five pounds represented very good value to taste a gorgeous patty with the minimum of fuss. Bennetton Burger - This was another delicious meal thanks to some top-notch ingredients that were well cooked and worked very well together. It wasn't cheap at £8.50 but the quality shone through. I can't imagine a more expensive 'gourmet' burger tasting any better. In addition to the great food, there other little touches too like toothpicks with the meal, hand sanitiser available by the counter and personal photos on the wall. Simple but appreciated. Finally, the two owners are very friendly and likeable, offering great service that is not usually found in similar shops. I hope they continue with their high standard and enthusiasm. A 'must visit' for Brighton residents and tourists alike.

Better than McDonalds but would rather go to GBK Firstly not really suitable to eat in as the place is small, so just a few bar type seats. Menu (i.e the ability to serve chips) is limited by the size of the kitchen. In reality you can't expect much out of a small kitchen. If all you serve is chips then your burgers better be damn good (unfortunately they weren't) The burger was a little bland and a sloppy mess. Between a couple friends, we tried the Beef and goat cheese, Chicken and Haloumi burger and each were distinctly flavourful and juicy. I wasnt going to write this review but after today I thought I should.... I have come to this joint 3 or 4 times before, and I agree with the previous reviewers this is one of the best burgers I've ever tried hands down. However my experience today might swerve me away form these delicious buns - (by the way the buns are AMAZING) To reiterate what I mentioned to one of the BBs is that I thought ridiculous to charge 50 p for 1 pickle slice, he then said you get two slices for 50p - I still think thats a ridiculous charge considering the actual cost of a jar of pickles. He then went on to kindly explain : "we are not a charity, we are a business, im here to make money, If I give you a pickle Ill have to give everyone one. you are more than welcome to buy a jar of pickles and eat it at home.." I got a few counter arguments: 1- first of all Ive never heard of any restaurant to be qualified as a charity for giving away garnishings (pickled ginger in sushi, salt and pepper everywhere, chilli sauce, lemon on a falafel, etc etc etc..) Pickles are not a side dish, their comparable to ketchup, or should we also pay separately for ketchup? 2- Even McD's give pickles away. They are most definetly not a charity. 3- I understand you are a business and you want to make money but hopefully you want money from satisfied customers that dont feel discriminated against because of the cost of their favourite garnishing. And that feel like their concerns are listened to and appreciated. 4- In your simple jack (lose the mayo - add pickles maybe mustard) 5- If you give me a pickle doesnt mean you have to give everyone a pickle mate. 6- a jar of sliced pickles cost maximum 3 pounds (probably less) and I researched there are about 150 slices in a 16 ounce jar bringing the price per slice to about 2p each... I dunno from 4 p to 50 p seems a bit crazy. So I propose you add 25 p to the Jack and ask people if they want pickles or not. Also you could stick pickles in for free like every other burger joint in history. Cheers Gab
