Absolutely beautiful restaurant 😍 This restaurant offers a fine dining experience at an amazing price. The decor is beautiful, staff all terrific and food/drink outstanding. My partner and I went for a lovely meal here and it was a very special experience in every way. As we arrived we were quickly greeted by an extremely friendly member of staff and seated right away, shortly after our drink orders were taken and brilliant recommendations were made by the waiting staff. We then had a chance to look through the menu, make our decision and our order was taken, ensuring all allergy procedures were met. Our food arrived shortly after and was absolutely beautiful, all dished exceeded our expectations. We had three courses, cocktails and a bottle of wine with dinner without breaking the bank. I highly recommend eating here no matter what the occasion

We came for a quick bite 90 mins before closing but ended up staying for cheese and port. Lovely food, yummy cheese. The staff were all delightful, especially our waitress Georgia who was more than happy to serve us and a have a laugh even though we stayed after they were supposed to close! Will definitely come back next time I’m in Brighton :)

Beautiful interior and has that Parisian vibe. Service is very good, attentive & friendly. Ordered the vegan & vegetarian breakfast and green tea with peach. It’s definitely delicious and simple. No wow factor. Vegan could be served with some baked beans, tofu scramble or hummus - as alternative to 2 poached eggs that you would get in a vegetarian plate. Very small portion for what is being charged.

We had a lovely evening at Cote Brasserie. The decor is stylish but simple. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety (3 different menus!). We didn't feel rushed, and the waiting staff took their time to ensure we had an enjoyable evening. We would highly recommend Cote Brasserie, and we're already planning our return trip.

Had the INCREDIBLE Pork belly tonight, all 4 of us ordering the same, followed by crepes with banana and chocolate. Absolutely delicious, as always, and so nice to see the place full again. Our waiter was great, and also he helped me personally as I walk with a stick- he pointed out where the disabled toilet was before I made the long trip downstairs. Thank you.

We went for my birthday meal. Booked online which was an easy process. They seated us downstairs on arrival due to mobility issues. Really good friendly service, was pretty fast even though it was very busy. The food was really tasty and I really enjoyed it. I had the salmon which was amazing and one of us had tuna which was amazing! I would definitely visite cōte again :-) 2nd or 3rd experience which has been really good, no complaints

Very difficult to review objectively. Food and service were probably a 4 on the whole, despite some items being unavailable and the girl who took the coffee order completely messing up! The negative for our table of 9 was the abrasive, rude and aggressive manager, if that is what he was, we don’t actually know as he never introduced himself. Was very very excited about visiting Cote for the first time . I had heard so much about the place. All were very positive. However on this particular visit we were very much let down. Totally understaffed..... my husband constantly having to leave his seat and find a waitress/waiter . He became very frustrated which added to the tension very embarrassing for our hosts who were treating us. I know the Dome was open but surely they should be prepared for this. We had to leave our food. Also the ladies toilets were in an awful state. 😫😫

Food was disappointing from a vegetarian point of view. Portions small. Pear salad was delicious but served in a cereal bowl so was difficult to eat. Could have been presented much better. Mushroom cassoulet very underwhelming,and again small. Garlic bread could have done with more garlic and some salt.The best part of the meal was the creme brulee - outstanding.

Visiting with a hen group, the food and wine were amazing, our waiter Ben was beyond helpful and thoughtful, really made our evening a memorable and special occasion. Ben went above and beyond to assure my group had an amzing time, so thank you Ben.

Most brilliantly cooked food. The chicken was perfectly done. No one likes dry chicken. It was really juicy and well flavoured. Steak was right on point as asked, not less or over cooked. The bread was crunchy and soft in the same time, really lovely flavour. Entire menu heads off to the chef! The service was exceptional on its own. Definitely going back.

Excellent. Staff are attentive and very helpful. Excellent menu, with various set meals or a la Carte. You don’t feel rushed or pressured. French onion soup was sublime. Very good value set menu and excellent service. Of all the restaurants that offer Brasserie dining this is my first choice. The set menu from midday to 7pm is fantastic value. I have calamari to start followed by pork loin. Both tasted superb and the service is excellent at this Brighton branch. The peach crumble was plenty for two peolple to share and was yummy. Kir Royale cocktail went down a treat too. I woukd return again

Lovely setting, great food, nice wine and always excellent service. The cote in Brighton is a very good example of the chain which after many visits has never failed to please. The building is stunning which helps to set the scene for a lovely evening. Service is attentive without ever being oppressive and I've never felt rushed here. The food is delicious and very consistent. As a couple we had 3 courses and a bottle of wine costing £89. Very reasonable.

Lovely place in Brighton, right across the street from the Brighton Dome. Very good service, and tasty french food. The restaurant has a garden (non-smoking), and also a few tables outside at the front, where you can smoke. Enjoyed a good meal, and a glass of wine, while enjoying the sunny (albeit windy) weather. Would recommend, and will probably choose it again next time I’m in Brighton!

Firstly the level of service and the professionalism of the staff is hard to beat. I tried the monk fish which was excellent but I would order an additional side if you're rather hungry. Desert of crème brulé was superb too. Prices are fair for the quality. Will revisit for sure.

I had a fantastic breakfast at Cote and also enjoyed a visit here last year with a friend. I went for the Vegetarian breakfast which came with a decent sized pot of tea, freshly squeezed orange juice and bottled water. The breakfast itself was delicious, particularly the veggie sausage and poached eggs on sourdough toast. The waiter was very efficient and polite. I found it good value for money at just over 12 pounds (included a small service charge). I will definitely return again.

After a heavy day celebrating Brighton Pride we decided there was only one choice for a post party de-brief. Côte offer an upmarket dining destination for any old Thomas, Richard or Harry. So I was suprised they let a William & Andrew through their door. One Vege and one French breakfast along with a Virgin Mary and coffees set us up for another day of fun in the sun. I've eaten here on many occasions and never been disappointed with the food and always impressed with the service.

Lovely staff and prompt service. But oh dear the food arrives cold. Not good at all. The kitchen is down a flight of stairs and plates seem to be unheated. By the time waiters have found your table the food has seriously cooled down. What a shame!

We had an OK meal - good service, but the whitebait starter was chewy and uninspiring. My thought was, don't offer this if you can't do it properly. I think they'd probably been pre prepared and reheated. The rest was good - steak frite, mussels, too sweet lemon tart and coffee. It's a great venue, and it almost pulls off the French experience.

Afternoon family celebratory dinner for a graduation. Spacious, and with both outdoor terrace and inside. Not busy even when leaving around 7pm on a busy (very) sunny and warm Brighton Saturday evening in high summer. Service- good and from a Belgian so accented for authenticity!, food- good, but not exceptional, French cuisine, but acceptable and with a substantial menu. Comprehensive wine list, prices fair. Had a complaint from guests that no draught beer (or craft beers or local brewery beers) on the menu. They need to address that. Atmosphere probably livelier in evening. Bill was less than expected but no desserts were had, just coffee's. 12.5% included probably as a party of 7. One issue for me was that though they easily combined four tables for 2 to fit our 7, that leaves one person(me!) Stuck out on a limb for the over dinner conversations. Why do they never offer or have round tables anywhere other than Chinese restaurants!! If u have a hearing difficulty it helps to see people talking as u can partially lip read, which you cannot on a long table for anybody your side or further along the other side, so restricted to one or two at most. Dining out is a conversation centre as well as an eating experience. Pay heed restaurants out there!

This place is absolutely brilliant. The food is spot on. Authentic modern French cuisine with decent portion sizes and not over-priced. The staff are friendly and very well-rained and professional, The atmosphere is great and they don't play music which allows the natural ambience to take hold. The toilets were spotless. I honestly can't find anything negative to say at all. Would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. And it's quite possibly worth a special trip if you're not.

I always loved Côte in Brighton pre pandemic and we went on Bank Holiday Sunday night to try to capture some of the good old times whilst hoping to feel safe. We had a great time, the food, wine, atmosphere, staff and experience where up to the same high standard as before. The only differences (for the better in my opinion) were: check in on the NHS app, hand sanitizer, no coat racks and the tables were more spaced out but no so far away that it felt strange (all the things you'd expect). There is no apparent one way system as such but it is a wide entrance. The menu was a cut down version but had all my usual favourites. Thank you for giving me back a bit of normality for the night and I'm so pleased that one of my faves is still doing business. I know the tables for two will be squeezed in the middle again later but this felt like the current set up is a much better layout.

I went to the Brighton Cote Brasserie for a work dinner with 20 or so other people. The atmosphere was pleasant but sadly the food wasn't up to much. The calamari starter was nice but needed to be cooked slightly longer. The steak however i had to send back as it was very grisly. They brought a new one which was only marginally better; in total i could eat about 60%, the rest was all fat. There are better places to go for the money we spent; overall i would probably avoid this place in future.

Been here on several occasions and thought I'd try the sea bass option. Not a good choice, upon being served the meal I was met by the aroma of a fish counter. They offer a set menu along with a la carte menu, with always good quality food. Interesting wine list too, and staff and managers are always available to listen to your requests and for complaints. The only thing I object to is a service charge being added automatically added to the bill ..I like to decide what I think is the right amount for the service. The wife and I usually visit Cote for breakfast whenever we visit Brighton, but our tradition is in danger of being terminated if things don’t improve. The last time we were there, middle of Dec 2019, the service seemed to have taken a dip, and I was quite tempted to not include a tip as we had waited too long for our breakfast and the next table, who had sat down and ordered long after we had, had received their breakfast before we did. When we complained to what appeared to be the duty manager, we got a haughty response saying our order took longer to cook rather than any kind of apology....I had a fry up and the wife had croque madam. Treat your regular, loyal customers with respect or people will go elsewhere.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary (while my wife was actually in the early stages of labour... total bants... she's a total boss too) as we hadn't booked a table the concierge type bloke wasn't sure if he could fit us in at first, he actually told us either to come back and try our luck in a couple of hours or try sonewhere else, but while we were "umming and aahing" outside about what to do he came out to tell us he could in fact sneak us in... maybe it was all an elaborate ploy to make us feel that little bit more special so we might write a good review... but it worked and I liked it. Service was very good (a waitress did at one point gives us our neighbouring table's food but we all just had a good ol' chuckle about it when she realised her mistake), prompt and friendly all round. The food was great, really good options on the menu. I had the pork belly while m'lady had the mussels and the price wasn't half bad either. Lovely space and atmosphere and an all round great experience.

The breakfast deal (hot food, hot drink, cold drink for £10.95) is hard to beat for price in Brighton centre. Sadly our waitress looked like she would rather have been anywhere else in the world. Where other tables with different waiters got offered different styles of eggs, bread, drink etc (we overheard after we had ordered!), we got what we were given and had to point out we hadn't been offered the cold drink when she passed by a little later. We had to ask for sauces, cutlery and some extra toast for the veggie breakfast as the sour dough "slice" on each plate was smaller than the poached egg on top.

We both ordered the duck main and shared the apple tart dessert, honestly i could have eaten three of those deserts they were that good! It is one of the rare eateries in Brighton that we do not mind visiting on more than one occasion.

Usually a good place that I reserve for special occasions. Went for a valentines meal, ate from the set menu and was told the minute I walked in that there were no stakes left. (This is the kind of place you visit for a stake afterall.) I ended up having something else from the set menu; which tasted ok was overshadowed by the lack of beef on the table. The service was slow, we got our starters before any drinks and getting the waiters attention was difficult. The cutlery was polished at the mouth end but sticky on the handle. On our neighbouring table the waiter dumped a main without even offering salt and pepper. And desert came before it's cutlery. I had to ask three times for the bill because after nearly two hours we just wanted to go home and nearly lost my marbles waiting to pay. Our serving waiter left before us! One of the managers took over and had to apologise to us before we left. Valentines is a special day that comes around once a year, yes make money but be prepared to serve the people your booking! If you can fit more people than you can serve something has gone wrong. To add insult to injury, just as we left a steak was served next door. - despite the "we have no steak left." Right at the beginning. £ - that is what it came down to. No one wished us a happy valentines. Tips were automatically added to the bill. @12.5%

Located in Brighton's old music library, the location is ideal for those visiting The Theatre Royal, The Dome and The Corn Exchange or who are just shopping in the North Laines. At busy weekends a reservation is advisable for lunch and dinner but if you don't have one then just take a chance. The menu isn't particularly innovative but sufficiently broad to offer something for a picky teenager (or older) to those looking for something a little different. Pricing is mid-range, there is no parking.
