Really nice design and atmosphere. The food was good, I preferred the chicken burgers over the beef ones. However Service is a bit slow, the food took too long to get ready, and even the bill took too long to get to us when we asked for it. Overall a decent experience but won't recommend as you can get tastier burgers for a lower price in Brighton.

I visited yesterday (Friday) lunch time with my sisters, and had booked in advance for one of our birthdays. We were greeted and seated within moments. It was relatively quiet which which I was quite surprised about with it leading up to a bank holiday weekend. The team were very attentive and our food and drinks arrived very promptly after ordering. I was concerned they wouldn’t have my vegetarian options, but was pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely visit again with friends and family. Highly recommend.

Visited in July and had the lunchtime time deal. £12.50 for burgers, fries and a drink. We stuck to the soft drink that were included but there was cans of beers available in the fridge and Austrian lager, Stiegl, on draught. Beers aren’t included in the meal deal though and are extra. They do a big range of cocktails too if you fancy indulging. Interior was awesome and a really good vibe about the place. I was right by a speaker so a tad loud on the music front but might be my age…or was still nursing a hangover. 😵 Dead Hippie seemed a popular choice of burger and I had the Bacon & Cheese which was top notch. Chicken options on the full menu too if you fancy something different from a burger.

Amazing food and nice cocktails in a cool quirky place. Me and my partner visited for dinner during our holiday and the food was so good we ended up going for lunch the day after! Very tasty food and everything fresh lots of spice and strong flavours and the monkey fingers were so juicy! I’d say the price is about right for what you get and the service was also good. If you want somewhere cool to chill with american style tasty food this is the place to go

I always love going to Meatliquor. Lovely staff with great service, fantastic food and really good drink selection, I had a can of the fruity IPA and it had the Foo Fighters art work on it!! They also do pickle-backs!!! Also good tip if you have an app called Secret DJ you can change the music.

Good food, but the food took an age to come and the temperature inside was boiling. Luckily they did have seating out the front but we would have rather had an inside table than the evening buses. Enjoyed and would recommend the monkey fingers!

Meat Liquor has always had a good buzzy atmosphere, and the burgers are always pretty reliable. I liked the alcoholic drink (forgot the name) that was a bit like toffee apple, which I'd not had before. And the staff - especially Summer (I think she was new, but she was great) - were really helpful too!

Food was very good and the place is very cool inside. However food took nearly an hour . We had to book it on the app. As the server took over 20 minutes after getting our drinks before she came back to ask for what food we wanted. At which time we had ordered on the app. Also it's not cheap and when you are paying alot for food you expect service to go with it.

Christ on a bike. Drove past and decided to try this place for our evening meal and holy mother of meat. Bacon burger one of the best I've ever had in my life and also I would kill several people for their mac n cheese bites. Come. You will not regret.

The deep fried gherkins with blue cheese dip are another level. Same goes for the Mac n Cheese bites, these also come with the option to add chorizo. Beef is good quality and are served as a medium rare. Super tasty and my go to burger place. Always good tunes and quirky venue inside.

This was a booking for 14 of us. A great selection of non standard beers. I had the double burger with jalapeños, unfortunately thee jalapeños didn't pack a punch. I was offered a piece of mac and cheese with chorizo in batter. This was superb and raised the mark back up. Service was good and they cleaned the tables between each party.

No option to pay at the bar or a waiter, you need to mess around downloading an app then give all your details just to order a drink, then when you look at your emailed bill you will see they have added 10% service charge to it with no option to decline when confrunted the host told me it shared between all the staff !!!

If you love beer and burger, this place is heaven. The burger is great! And beer is amazing but so strong! The best part is pickle in the burger, the best pickle of all time! Meat is juicy, the cabbage is fresh and crunchy. This place is super!

If we didn’t have to wait so long to get our food, this would’ve been a 4 star, the food was really good but we went at a late lunch time and it took us 40 mins to get the food to our table...the waiters weren’t that nice either. We ordered buffalo chicken burger, dead hippie burger, dead hippie fries, Cole slaw and sriracha fries. All but the sriracha fries were really good. Dead hippie burger and buffalo chicken burger 100% recommended - id say chicken burger is the best I’ve had in any restaurant, it’s real buffalo chicken sauce. Dead hippie sauce is excellent too. Overall, if you’re not hungry, can wait a while for your food, this is totally recommended.

Been coming here for years - every time we spend time in Brighton we come for some delicious food! Laid back and trendy inside, with nice friendly staff. I opted for the black palace - delicious! The chilli cheese fries and mac cheese sticks are a must!

I'm not much of a meat eater more vegetarian. But I live local and remember the bar before it opened. MEAT liquor draws me with its sin cages for eating and drinking. Also over the years iv taken many a selfie outside the colourful doorway entrance. Long may this bar rein and stay a neighbour of the Hobgoblin. We need more choices and meat liquor is mine despite being a vegetarian who only eats ham in a cheese toasty or chicken and bacon kampai 🍸🍹🥂🍷

Great selection of beers and cocktails, good service, some orders were a little slow to come out but seemed short of staff most likely for covid reasons. The cheese burger with salt and pepper fries were excellent. I was there on a stag do and the £60 cocktail he had was huge but tasty.

Cocktails were heavenly, the burgers were tasty, a particular favourite was the chicken Parma burger. The fries weren't as crispy as I would have liked but the hash browns definitely made up for that. Would recommend for a casual dinner.

Home of the Dead Hippie. Always in my top 5 burgers and the whole menu is fantastic. I have eaten at all the Meatliquor restaurants and this one is great too. Lots of tables and booths, great staff and service and fantastic burgers. What more could you ask for?? One day I'll try the triple chilli challenge!!

Nice drinks selection, cocktails and ale's in a can. Tasty food, as someone who chooses veggie options when out I was quite impressed with the choices considering it has meat in its name. Decent price for drink and food when you remember it is in Brighton so you're paying a premium straight away. I've been more than once and will go again.

I walk past MEATliquor everyday and each time I do, I look in and wonder what it would be like... so when my parents came to visit I took them here. Good atmosphere, good music, good decor and most importantly GREAT burgers! I had the chicken burger and hippy fries, very tasty. All of us were happy with everything and the lady who served us was really helpful when explaining the menu. Service is really fast so if you come hungry take that as a good thing but sometimes I did think it was a bit toooooo fast if you're slow and like to pace yourself. Sadly no pictures of food but here's a sneak peak inside and as you can see, if you can't finish your food (portions are pretty big) they're more than happy for you to take it home. Happy to see there's some veggie options as I'll defiantly be bringing my friends here soon 💚

Fantastic place to eat! We would most definitely go out of our way to come back! From the moment we walked in staff were welcoming but not in your face, which was nice. Menu selection was brilliant, exactly what you’d want from a burger joint and more. Worth mentioning the vegetarian section was brilliant too my girlfriend was really happy with her order. Interior was really something special, very funky. Only reason we didn’t give the full 5 was because it was a little bit on the pricey side but then again that’s what we expect to pay for excellent food! We will see you soon thank you!

I've been here twice now and the food is pretty good! I've had the halloumi burger and cheese fries which were both great. The only downfall to eating here, is the speed of service. The first time we waited ages for not only food but our check as well. I definitely wouldn't knock the establishment at all as it has some DOPE aesthetics, just don't drop in if you're in a huge rush. Otherwise, it's worth checking out! They have a few vegetarian options which is always good and some fairly unique cocktails!

It's a little bit hit and miss, leaning more on the hit side. But when it's on, it's probably as good of a dirty burger as you're ever going to get in the UK. Don't forget to try the fried pickles!

The Brighton location of the trendy London burger joint. Psychedelic interior with lots of risque fabricated and archival posters, and a solid burger. Deep fried Mac and cheese balls actually use penne and are just not worth the arterial buildup. Brighton burger and burger brothers, our local heroes, are better burgers for cheaper. But undoubtedly meat liquor Brighton has its place given the intriguing venue and smashing cocktails, since our city's best burgers are not exactly sit down joints.

My experience at Meatliquor Brighton exceeded all my expectations. I ordered a cheese burger and a side of onion rings. I thought that £8 for a cheese burger was a little on the extortionate side initially as I was ordering it. The waiter placed my order on the table in front of me and from the very moment that I took my first bite right up until my very last I was never any less than extremely satisfied. It genuinely was the best cheese burger that I have ever had in my entire life. The onion rings were large enough to wear as a bracelet and they were by far the biggest I have ever encountered to date. I would highly recommend visiting Meatliquor for a meal because I know for a fact that I definitely will be returning for another visit without fail.

I can not put into words how good the food is. People often say "its the best burger ever" but I can honestly say I have never had a better burger in all my life! even the fries were amazing and we had mac n chirzo bites which were so good. You can't go to Brighton without trying here... but it will ruin sub bar burgers for the rest of your life now!

OMG... such wonderful meal! There is a long time I don’t try something so tasty like this hot-dog. The place is wonderful, very trendy with its graffitis everywhere and the soundtrack is very good. Dishes are very generous and attractives. If I could, I would try all the dishes which passed by me. Service is excellent, fast, friendly and respectful. Congratulations guys, I went for a solo dinner, but I could enjoy a very pleasant experience. Extremely recommend!

My Clustercluck burger, rabbit style (no bun and wrapped in a lettuce leaf )was perfect, as we're the chilli chips! Highly recommend it and looking forward to going back there when next in Brighton

Really busy and we turned up more than half an hour early. Made to feel so welcome, anti bac'd an area for us to wait in, brought us drinks and a menu while we waited for our table. Went here the other night with some girlfriends and was quite disappointed with the food. Don’t get me wrong the decor is gorgeous but the burgers felt like greasy fast food not worthy of the £10 price tag and didn’t come with chips, they Cost an extra £3.50. Furthermore my friend who is gluten free was very disappointed with the only option available to her: a sad looking slap of chicken in between some soggy lettuce, the same price as a regular burger. Anyway we still managed to have a good evening but won’t be returning anytime soon I’m afraid.
