If only you could smell the coffee...! Seriously wonderful coffee at this ideal cafe in the centre of Brighton, and always so friendly. Haven't been in here a while, but so glad I came in. A perfect spot for lunch, too. The authentic Sicilian food is incredible.

We had a lunch snack here today. We had the arancini and they were delicious😋💕. True Sicilian style, way better than what we had in London. We’re only in Brighton until tomorrow morning, but I think we’ll be back for dinner. 🍽😋

Excellent service - the staff are all extremely attentive and friendly. I had the pasta bolognaise - the pasta was perfectly cooked and the portion size was good ideal for lunch. I will definitely be returning!

Ok. Let’s start saying that I went to this place with very little expectation to find Sicilian street food, contrary wise this place exceeded my expectations. A precious little place in duke street that stand out for all the competitors in the street. I went safe for coffee and cake and it was ever so good that I decided to have an arancino al pistacchio after, and I was literally transported to Sicily with the flavours of the food. At the exit I managed to compliment myself with Davide the owner of the place, which was exquisite. His passion is clearly expressed into the food and the attention to details. I would not hesitate to come back for a coffee and cake, quick or long lunch, an aperitivo or a nice traditional unique Sicilian meal out. Ideal for everyone, from kids to adult and wheelchair friendly with ground floor access and tables. The unpretentiousness of this place makes it ideal for a solo meal as well as a romantic date to impress. Sicilian typical product also available to buy at the counter....not to be missed the “Crema al pistacchio”. In conclusion, this place is a must go either if you are Italian or not, and you will easily spot why is second to none. So far the best “arancini” in Brighton.

Last night I celebrated my birthday at Monjibello and everything was great!! The food (arancini, olives, ham, salami, cheese,...) was just amazing. The tiramisu they prepared was not only delicious, but also very well decorated as birthday cake! The staff is very friendly and accommodating :-) If you want to try a very Italian aperitif, I would highly recommend Monjibello! A presto 😊

Gaia deserves the utmost praise at Monjibello. Even though our order was big she managed to get it out to us in a timely manner and did so in the most polite way. She is always smiling and excellent at her job, if I could give her 10 stars I would. Also try the pistachio tiramisu if you get the chance, it was incredible.

Great little Italian bar in the heart of Brighton. Top notch Sicilian street food and great cocktails. Desserts are to die for and the staff really attentive and personable. Recommended. 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food here is delicious when done right however out of the four times I've visited, there have been two major issues with what I've been served. The first issue was I was given a ham and cheese arancini instead of mushroom (I'm vegan and asked specifically for the vegan option) then after giving it another chance on another visit both the arancini I received was still frozen in the centre. Clearly the chef here needs retraining. If it wasn't for the floorstaff responding well to the situation and being generally fantastic, this would be a two star review.

It's always one of my favourite Italian place in Brighton where you can really taste Sicilian food. Cannoli and Arancini are amazing. I like also the furniture, it makes everything cosy, stylish and Italian.

Lovely arancino and great quality of the ingredients yet, we got there at 1pm and that's pretty much all they had in store along with a couple of croissants. A little disappointing since we came to try a lot of the things that they have on their menu ( and they have A LOT) and there was none of them but the kinds stated above. :/

I have recently ordered the delicious Sicilian boxes and enjoyed the lovely arancini in the park with friends. The delivery was spot on! The arancini were freshly made and still warm !!! An easy idea for a picnic. I highly recommend it.

Lovely little cafe/restaurant. Very good service from staff and very attentive. Please be aware as of this review date 17/10/2021 they are updating their menu and the prices are more expensive but this is not stated on their website or on their menu(online only at the moment) We only found out after we got a receipt. They are also not on 2 for 1 on meekat meals even though it shows on app. Hopefully these will get updated soon.

We came upon this lovely Sicilian restaurant in Brighton yesterday and it was a total find. I had lovely coffee and my husband had tea which came in a bright teapot. Food was lovely as well. Decor very bright and welcoming. Definitely will visit again lovely staff too. Good Luck.

No menus. No salad or pasta. Only spirits to drink, no beer or wine! The food was good but odd selection. Lovely seating area upstairs, though, and friendly, helpful staff. Good for a quick snack but we struggled to have a decent lunch

It is absolutely spectacular. The food is great. It's like having a small piece of Italy in Brighton. Amazing arancini, the panini are so tasty. If possible try the chef's lasagna, it is one of the best ever. The staff is really friendly and they treat you really well.

I would have posted photos of our Aranchini but they got scoffed in short fashion. Highly authentic, the owner who is from Catania is lovely and welcoming. Their coffee is much better than sicillian coffee, in fact much smoother than the artisan blends we have tried in Brighton. Highly recommended!

Some minor communication difficulties. Liked the cannoli but was served in takeaway box, which was hard to eat from and had to ask for small dish. Contents ended up on the side of box. Took 2 of them home as it was very messy.
