We held our wedding reception at Ohso Social in Oct 2021 and had exclusive hire. From day 1 Daisy was just wonderful, supporting us through menu chocies and tasting and really listening to what we wanted our wedding day to be. On the day everything was just perfection. The venue was set just as we had requested and Daisy was there on the day checking in with me and my husband throughout to make sure we were happy and looked after. Staff were super friendly and attentive and really understand good customer service There were no long waits at the bar which is always a concern at a large function. Food was out of this world- fresh, filling and really tasty. Bar has a great range of beers, spirits, cocktails and wines. We cannot thank Ohso enough for sharing our special day. Our guests were blown away by everything about the venue-location, staff, food, drinks and atmosphere. Thank you Daisy and team for so many wonderful memories. We can't wait to come back and see you soon x

Lovely restaurant, amazing food and brilliant service!! My partner and I visited Ohso for a last minute evening meal and it was perfect. The staff were extremely accommodating and we got to eat in the igloos on the sea front. How to order was explained extremely well and the service was very speedy. The food was delicious and the cocktail tree was perfect for 2 to share. We will definitely be visiting again

After hearing a range of choices for breakfast we settled on this place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The service was a contemporary mix of what you'd expect in England with Spanish flair.

Staff was nice , we came from London to Brighton spontanously , booked tickets and had a same day trip. It was super windy and all gloomy outside was there with my 2 friends girls, they complained that we couldn't sit at the outside domes but unfortunately they were all taken ( I'm not the one for rushing people so understandable but we've been eating inside for over an hour I think and no one left the domes still 🥺🥺). I'm taking a star off as my friends complained a lot about dirty windows while staff had a lot of time to themselves ,which made us unable to take any nice pictures of the sea from inside the bar/ restaurant being a seaview bar/restaurant that should be a priority and something to so in free time. Other than that we had a bit to drink afterwards and all got sick and had stomach pain after getting back london which might be attributed to alcohol or the fish and chips we ordered. Not taking a star off for that as can't exactly tell if it was the food or not, however the food was very tasty. Easy to order by scanning a QR code on the table , possibly can order at the bar also if you're unable to use a phone.

Food was great! Really good potion sizes and very reasonably priced. It was a warm day so there was about a 30 minute wait on food which was to be expected. However, the toilets need a thorough deep clean - the Dyson hand dryer clearly hasn’t been cleaned or serviced in quite a while. The rest of the toilet was pretty similar. I don’t think this is reflective of the overall hygiene though.

Igoos Excellent stuff, nice and spacious and warm in winter, and one can order and pay though the online menu system, then it will be bought to your Igloo. Can't wait for them to return next winter. Brilliant and quick service from staff too. 😁😁😁

One of the best fish and chips I have ever had- Ive never had fish battered with herbs before and the crispiness of the chips- they were cooked to perfection. The server was incredibly lovely and the cheesey chip takeaway we got later in the evening was yummy too!

Spent a few hours just chilling in the mid day sun with a very nice light glass of Sauv B, on Friday lunchtime. Lovely vibe and wish we had found you sooner. All the staff were super attentive but happy to have a 'bit of a chat. Great location and highly recommend a visit. We didn't eat but the food going out looked scrumptious.

Great place right on the beach front, we had our dog with us which was welcomed at this place. Staff were friendly and inviting and food was in very generous portions as our fish n chips looked like they had caught Jonah's Whale and put it on the plate! Joking aside the fish was cooked to perfection and the batter really light and airy and not greasy at all. We were very impressed and would return again if visiting Brighton again.

This was one of the few places that could accommodate our huge stag do party of 26 people in Brighton whilst there were still some pandemic restrictions. We thought the main draw would be the location on the beach but how wrong we were. The food (the sharing buffet) was unbelievable and had a range of options that accommodated all diets. Particular highlight was pork belly. The staff and bouncers were lovely and really added to our experience (we even played a few games of rock paper scissors with bouncers). Our booking only ran until 9pm but the management found a way of keeping our booking until closing time, which was really appreciated. This completely exceeded my expectations and the group absolutely loved it. Highly recommended

Seafront bar in a very central location. We were always interested to try dining there but there was always a queue. Luckily, we were able to find one during a rather cloudy day. The staff were friendly, drinks on point, and food was good and was served moments after ordering. The only thing is that a lot of their heaters need fixing and their ordering app wasn't particularly responsive.

With its loud cheese music and the long benches, this place looks like it is serving the younger crowd, but it was quite a mix of ages. After seeing the huge size of the fish and chips, I had two of the small plates, but they were still very filling. Not the best humus or pittas I've had, but they don't skimp with the cocktails, and it's very well-staffed for the size. The loos are amazing considering it's a beach bar.

We were struggling to find fish and chips in town around 7pm and headed to the promenade. The seating was spotlessly clean and lovely location by the sea and pier. We ordered large fish and chips with mushy peas, we were really pleased with our meals, hot, crispy batter and white flakey fish, the only thing that let it down was the tiny portion of mushy peas and the one communal toilet, which could have done with something to dry your hands on. Overall a good meal and nice service

THE best breakfast on the beach! We've been practically every morning while staying nearby. Great way to start even a grey day in Brighton :) Really well chosen ingredients, nicely presented. It can get busy and sometimes with quite a wait, but it's worth waiting for!

Mixed feelings about OhSo... We had pre-booked a table, so didn't have to wait long to be seated. There seemed to be a lot of staff working and not all tables were being used, but on average we waited over 30mins for our drinks. It got the stage were as soon as our drinks arrived, we ordered the next round. No prosecco available, the worst Pina Colada I've ever tried and the flavoured gins were very questionable. However, the food was nice and the staff really friendly. One of the glasses was broken in our cocktail tree and was replaced quickly.

Came here today 45 minute wait for food, one guy in particular offered good service. The others seemed a bit like they didn’t want to be there. Order arrived and had forgotten to cook my meal but offered an alternative that was ready with a part refund. Bar service was fine, no full selection of cocktails for time of year. Was absolutely freezing inside, I would recommend sticking to serving in the summer. Has been much better than today and didn’t seem busy enough to warrant the time waited.

I found Ohso Social Beach Bar whilst having a walk on Brighton Beach. I liked the ocean front view whilst being able to sit down in the open. The food was amazing and the price reasonable. Well worth a visit! :)

I really liked this place, for its great location. Despite it being quite busy with a long queue on ordering food on a Sunny but windy day in early March, the food actually came very quickly and was very nice. Heaters were available on all outside tables, a fab idea & a few hardy souls were making full use of them. Food was lovely with generous portions, the staff were very friendly & helpful. Overall good experience, music is not too loud, service is friendly and the selection of drinks and food is very good. The only downside to my experience was that the staff initially got my dad's coffee order wrong but they resolved it pretty quickly so overall I would recommend this place
