Went to The Woods in Worthing but inverse to their Google info....they were CLOSED. Best thing they could have done for me as now I have discovered Smash Burger🥰 I've travelled and had burgers in a lot of places but theirs are at the top of the burger tree. Sumptuous, moist and delicious. Lovely crumbly patties with plenty of cheese and stacked with salad and sauce in a soft brioche bun, completed with a good portion of soft sweet potato fries with that crisp exterior. I would suggest that if you are reading this your contemplating a visit......just GO!!!!

Insane food served quickly in a fast food style setting, but with all the feel of a gourmet restaurant! The burgers were absolutely incredible; fresh and delicious, and stacked high with toppings! The fries were also devine, with the Cajun seasoning really packing a punch to the pallette! The milkshake was amazing too, with generous amounts of whipped cream and sauce on top! Overall, the portion size of both the burgers, sides and drinks were top notch, and the prices for individual items is more than reasonable. Definitely recommend and will definitely be returning in the future, and it's good to see Smashburger have a number of locations around the UK!

Food is prepared within few minutes and you get your food really fast, reasonable prices , fresh ingredients, friendly staff, however its slightly overrated as the burger didn't taste that great. You can find better burgers in town.

Great quality burgers and the portion of fries is really generous. The unlimited soda machine was 'out of order' when I visited and so ended up paying a silly price for a single bottle. Other than that though, it was great. You order at the counter but then they bring the food to your table once cooked.

I LOVE Smashburger. Their burgers are tasty and juicy. I always order more than I can eat when I go. I like the customisation menu too. Milkshakes are really good and soft drinks are free refills. They also serve select alcohol beverages as well. Staff have always been really good too. There service is a little different due to corona, they take your order and its brought to your table as if it was takeaway, in bags and boxes etc. Instead of the usual trendy metal trays. Doesn't bother me though. It was all tremendous!!

Quality burgers and sumptuous fries, but they come at a somewhat unreasonable price. £6.75 for a fairly small ("regular") burger and £2.95 for some fries is not a great start. In a city where good burgers are aplenty, Smash Burger has its work cut out if it wants to be a serious contender. Its nearest competitor is probably Five Guys, though it's slightly cheaper than them (but also marginally smaller portions). The eating environment is nice, though nothing that wouldn't be expected from a premium burger chain. Quality: 5/5 Value for money 3/5 Total: 4/5

Despite going here for the alternative burger & sadly having to be refunded as they had none left, it was an amazing experience. The staff were really friendly & Rachel, who was on the till, was really enthusiastic about informing me about all the vegan options now available. You hop in here and decide that you have no idea what to get, so get a menu and table number and order from the seat. Just to find out that this building is a faraday cage. No worries they have wifi, but ohhhhh noooo it takes 10 minutes for you to go through the process of identifyong you for the wifi. Then when you are ready to order you find out that the payment will not go through....... jeyjjj order from the counter then. 5 minutes to decide what to get.... 20 minutes to order :/ The burgers are a little on the dryer side, but taste alright.

Although not usually a fan of burgers, Smash went way beyond any other burger. Absolutely delicious! The meat was juicy and flavoursome, the sauce was tangy and good. The bun tasted like it had been fresh baked. A fabulous dining experience, well worth every penny.

We went in at about 8pm. Was pretty empty downstairs, 4-6 people, to which there is also upstairs seating. Greeted by a lovely person, asked if we were eating in taking away, if we wanted to order at the till or via the app. Unfortunately we tried to use the app, it worked up until payment so made our order at the till. 15 mins later out food arrived and it was absolutely incredible. Bbq chicken cheese burger with haystack onions, just a flavour explosion. Fried pickels as a side were amazing to. £55 for 3 people, 3 burgers, 2 side, 2 chips, 3 drinks one of which alcoholic. On the pricer side but we'll worth it. Clean restaurant, quick service and the also sell beer!!

We went on a Saturday at about 8pm. We were met with a lovely young female server who gave us menus and told us how the majority of the menu could be veganised and made the effort to swap out ranch sauce for vegan mayo and cheese etc. The alternative burgers are so tasty and beer is served with a chilled glass:) the staff are very accommodating and lovely.

Good food and the gluten-free options taste great but the prices could be a bit lower for what they offer and they don’t always get the order right (i.e large fries but was given a small amount or there was one time I was completely missing fries that I ordered but they refunded those fries after so it’s fine). Would also appreciate a Gluten-Free dessert to be offered :( but overall nice place and the staff are OK, would recommend😀

Pretty decent burgers. Better than the other fast food places around. It is in the center of town and easy to get to. Fast service. They have beer which is good although expensive. The chips can be very oily. Been there a few times and will probably go back!!!

Amazing food, really high quality. Yes it is a little expensive but you certainly get your moneys worth. My only small gripe is the slow service time and that our order was not processed correctly. We ended up with 1 extra portion of chips (of course not complaining) and our drink was forgotten about. Despite this, the quality of the food easily made up for this. Very good burger place!

A tasty burger joint with friendly staff to help explain the extensive menu. I had a delicious triple double which seemed to be cooked to order so was fresh. The main advantage though is the large and well thought out vegetarian/vegan offering, rather than the usual choice of just one burger. Recommended for vegans and vegetarian! And particularly those with meat eating friends/partners. Smashburger also has a Coca Cola freestyle machine for those interested in experimenting! Toilets are unisex and clean. The major disappointment though is the cost- £12+ for a burger, fries and a drink is crazy.

A tad worse than 5 guys but still almost almost the same league. Very well priced. 2 can eat for 20 pounds. Clean gender neutral toilets if that's important to you...

Reasonable choice of burgers and fries, and decent portion sizes. These guys are clearly trying to compete in the same arena as places like five guys and shake shack, but the quality of the burgers themselves just isn't there. The burger patty is relatively flavorless and dry and for the price I expect better. The look and feel of the venue is great and the staff excellent. The freestyle machine for drinks is a good choice and there is a good choice of fries (although I found the plain fries kind of oily tasting to be honest). I hope they can improve the food to live up to the standards they are clearly aiming for.

The burger was quite tasty. My boyfriend and I got the stilton stack with the crispy chicken. It was really good but a little bit too much stilton. Although the food most certainly isn't bad, the price is a little too high. I'm on a student budget so if I'm paying extra, it really needs to be 100% worth it. Smash burger, in that regard, did not cut it. The food is definitely tasty and the staff was really friendly but the price is just a little to high for me. Would definitely recommend to people with maybe a bit more financial leeway!

I make my own version of Smashburgers at home so I was excited to try the real thing. I know taste is subjective but I was underwhelmed by the burger itself. They have a great selection of vegan options and I love their soft drink machine. Erin was very helpful when I was struggling to decide which burger to try and she made some great recommendations. These burgers are so tasty! Not my first time in there. Pretty cheap compared to other similar burger restaurants. It's not a McDonald's but more like Five Guys in my view. Apart from the prices are so much better. I personally enjoy it more than GBK too! Defo worth a visit.

Pleasantly surprised by yet another seemingly-trendy burger place to open in Brighton. Patties are juicy and well cooked and the fillings are balanced in both taste and quantity. Fries are really crispy and come out hot hot hot. Good to have things cooked fresh. Prices reflect the quality, would be nice to have a slightly longer selection of sides. Make note that if you order a large burger then the patty is of a larger diameter, not an extra patty like some might expect.

Please just take the care to actually read the orders and you'd be 4-5 stars... The first thing I will say about Smash Burgers in Brighton, is that the service is exceptional! The staff are so keen and well knowledged on what you're eating and how it was sourced. Now for the taste - thinking of heading to Burger King? DON'T! This place has way better burgers and it's only a few doors down for basically the same price. The sides are super tasty and good portion sizes and the burgers are so fresh. They also have a good drinks selection, they have those coke machines that make hundreds of different combinations, a great beer selection, and plenty of other options too. All in all - a great place to eat by yourself, on a date, with the family, etc. 5 stars from me!
