The pizza and beer we’re great. After a hectic train ride from London during the rail strike, my wife and I enjoyed sitting by the seaside and having a nice lunch.

Service was fantastic and all the staff were wearing face masks. My black coffee was great but the Mocha was a bit too sweet, especially as we asked for no added sugar but the no flour chocolate cake (made with almond flour) was fantastic. We will certainly return again...for more cake and service with a smile.

Lovely staff and setting on the beach front. Have used the Flour Pots in Brighton several times as love their cinnamon and orange buns. Sadly this time so disappointed. The usually fresh buns I bought as a take away, clearly a day old and hard. Such a shame 😔 I understand if you dont bake on a Sunday but please dont sell goods that have to be eaten on the day. There are other baked goods on your menu you can sell. Look forward to returning next time on a week day when hopefully delicious as normal.

Not great. They can't make a flat white (literally flat). The croissants are mostly undercooked dough. The pain au chocolats are even worse. They don't taste freshly baked. It is very expensive for what it is. It's a beautiful location, but I'd recommend Real Patisserie for coffee/pastries and Lucky Beach for food.

Friendly staff, great decor, good sandwiches but four sandwiches and 4 alcoholic drinks from a cafe we walked out paying £50. They definitely make their money off their drinks. My suggestion, order food and coffee and get your alcohol elsewhere

Absolutely brilliant, the food is great, I highly recommend the prawn and crab sandwich, the pizza is very good and so are the other sandwiches, they are also environmentally conscious, none of the drinks are in plastic bottles and the food comes in recyclable paper containers. Great view of the beach with a nice breeze and the sound of seagulls on the beach.

I like this cafe. Coffee is good, and location is perfect. Staff are friendly. Downside is that the bathroom is always busy as there is only one for everyone, resulting in it being quite gross as well. But the biggest gripe, is that the closing times are super inaccurate/inconsistent. More than 3 times I have arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday and have been informed that they were closing, despite it saying it closes at 10pm on google.

Great staff, tasty food. The breakfast pizza is even better than it sounds! Like a lot of popular seafront places it fills up really quickly at the first glimpse of sunshine, so be patient.

Stopped here for a quick coffee takeaway, which was anything but quick. 2 coffees took about 15 minutes to get made. They were not even that busy. Owner needs to take a look at the staff organisation here. The barista was making the coffees and then disapearing off to deliver them to the tables. The coffee was good once we eventually got it. It's a nicely decorated and clean unit with beach front seating. If you are not in a hurry then its fine park yourself at a table an you can while away a couple of hours in the sun with a light lunch. Get there quick though as the poor organisation is likely to bring them down

Big fan of Flour Pot in general, amazing bread and the vegan pastries are excellent. However I had a ‘humous bowl’ last week which was £10 and was significantly worse than one I would make myself - mainly wet lettuce and cucumber, hardly any humous or chickpeas, and really should have been served with some flat bread or similar to make it more of a meal. Wouldn’t order from the lunch menu again.

What can I say, we stumbled across this hidden gem in the summer and enjoyed many evenings eating artistan pizzas and drinking red wine. If you have a sweet tooth they have an amazing selection of freshly baked cakes, pastries, oh and delicious bread. It has a really friendly vibe about it. This is definetly my happy place! And icing on the cake, I even had a few words in French. Congratulations to all the staff for its availability and the service offered. (Original) J'oubliais, ce 10 septembre 2019, presque au pied de la tour i360 et de son Donuts, pour le petit déjeuner du matin, une halte et surtout découverte agréable de THE FLOUR POT.
