Absolutely loved it here! It's so cosy and cute, we sat in the little nook in the alcove and had the king prawns & parma ham for starters, Chicken Supreme, Rib Eye Steak for mains and chocolate and almond torte for dessert. I cannot fault anything here, it was completely delicious, perfectly cooked and the service was spot on, will 100% come back. 5 stars from us!!

Had a wonderful relaxed evening dinner. Food was excellent & very well presented, with good size portions. The house Bouillabaisse was awesome, as was the mushroom, courgette & spinach risotto. Staff were very well presented & helpful in recommendations for the meals & requirements. Would recommend this restaurant & return again Thank you.

I went to The House with my family (1 kid) and we enjoyed the food and the quiet in such a busy town like Brighton. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the food is simply delicious (best fish and chips in the south of England).

I went there, two years ago & had mouthwatering dishes from there.
Two years on due to covid & so many lockdowns, we revisited, this lovely Restaurant. As you can see in the photos, the food here is Glorious. The staff are very polite, the drinks, the food are top notch, it was/is well worth the wait.
Very well done

Me and my partner came here while on holiday for a nice meal out. While the service was good and the food came out really fast, some aspects did let it down a little. The steak was not the best of steaks a little tough and unevenly cooked, as-well as this it came with nothing. It is £20 for literally just the steak to we had to pay and extra £8 just for some chips and a sauce. The chips were absolutely amazing thick crispy triple cooked however the cheese sauce had a weird consistency and was a lump of cheese at the bottom. In saying this the meal of the day which was a sea bream and prawn dish was absolutely amazing perfectly cooked and tasted amazing! So i guess it just depends on which dish you get. All in all it was a good experience and if the steak was a little better it would have been 5 stars.

Loved it, very polite and courteous staff, nothing was a problem to them. Food was fabulous, traditional prawn starter was a very generous portion and the steak fillet for mains, although it looked on the small size when it came to the table it was more than adequate, sides were gorgeous. You won’t be disappointed. 👍

We both had fillet steak which was cooked perfectly to how we each like it (medium rare, and medium), it had great flavour too so compliments to the chef and the butcher.
We had a few sides to share which was spot on - Garlic mushrooms which were lovely, along with some fries and a bowl of rocket with grated cheese.
We had a few cocktails which were very nice.
Our waitress/host was very good, we were aware there is a lack of staff in this industry right now so forgave any delays as it’s not their fault, so if you visit please bare this in mind.
We chose to sit inside as being Brighton on a Saturday evening it can get quite lairy in the streets, so chose carefully!

As we were leaving Brighton we saw that this restaurant had an outdoor seating area. We had a table of four in the centre and it was fantastic. The service was great, the food was amazing and the weather topped it off (nothing to do with the restaurant however on a nice day it makes a difference).
If you're in the area then I would highly recommend dropping by.

What a fantastic pub with friendly and approachable staff! We were squeezed in and they made my sisters 21st such a special occasion! The steaks and sides were to die for! I cant wait to come back! Decadent cocktail too for a very resonance price! Cannot fault this must go to stop in Brighton!
