The food is so good we ended up here 2 days in a row!! First thing: it's a fairly small space so make a reservation to avoid disappointment. My partner had a full English which he said was one the best he has ever had. I had the Mexican eggs and they were to DIE FOR!! Cooked to perfection, the flavours just everything. We then shared banana hazelnut pancakes which were out of this world and a perfect sweet treat. We had a watermelon and cherry cola cocktail which were also fantastic. The service was brilliant, quick and efficient and it was just fantastic brunch all round!!

We decided to go to this place in our visit to the city. When we arrived we didn't think we have chosen the place it was described in the reviews as it didn't look really nice but we decided to try anyway. I have to say we were all surprised. The cocktails were incredible and I have to say that we ordered different types but all of them were made perfectly. The food was also an incredible surprise. Everything was so tasty that any of us left anything on the dishes. We had three dogs in the restaurant with us and all the staff were super nice. We have an amazing time and we will definitely repeat here if we come back to Brighton.

Lovely dinner, especially the steak and chips. Waiting staff are attentive, friendly and welcoming. Beers are a bit weird, the lager looks like an ale, and the IPA looks like a lager. Highly recommended.

We hired out the room underneath the main restaurant for a baby shower brunch. The team were so friendly and accommodating when making the booking. The food was great and we were so impressed that all the food came out together considering there were 22 people eating and a full restaurant upstairs too. They came down to check on us for drinks continuously throughout the time we were there. We had a really great day, would definitely hire out again.

This place was incredible. I would give it another star if I could. We booked for a large group and it was so simple. The staff were amazing and friendly. Vic in particular was fantastic. She went above and beyond to help us enjoy our meal. I am gluten free and normally don't like eating out but the food here was good and it was filling. Vic made it seem like I was special rather than the awkward one. The cocktails are amazing and the whole interior is beautiful from the view of the sea to the lovely glassware

Its hard to recommend a specific dish to go for as I’ve been here a few times to try the range on the menu… every time its been absolutely amazing. All I can say is the fish and chips are sooo good (that batter though) the veggie/vegan breakfast works so well and I’m a big fan of the hard banoffee shake. Kudos to who ever is running that kitchen or designed the menu!

Great bruch! A fresh and revitalising experience. Being there last week for brunch in a really hot day, we were really satisfied in overall. The service was friendly and fast, the seats nice but a bit small tho. We ordered the soft shell crab taco which was beautifully presented, juicy and really tasty. I had the full English breakfast, definitely one of the best I had in a long time. The bacon was unreally crispy, the sausage was meaty and aromatic. I was also happily surprise with fresh bakes beans and not the usual canned one. Only thing, the bread was probably too hard. My partner went for the Vegetarian tofu dish, at the begin I was honestly sceptical because not many restaurants around can actually make tasty and fulfilling vegetarian food. I was greatly surprised at the sight of the asian inspired, sublime looking dish, the combination of tastes and colours was explosive and it had a great mix of textures that blends really well. The restaurant offer a nice variety of drinks and coffees. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast and lunch to customers of all ages.

Went here for a quick brunch on a sunny summer day in Brighton. I didn’t have much time so asked how long food wait would be and I came in a fraction of the time. Had a lovely table out on terrace and server was great, very helpful despite being new. Had a iced latte and club toast. The salad dressing was delicious and chilli added a welcome kick to make it a different twist on avo toast - very fresh and good for a light brunch. The filled rolls with hash browns looked quite good too (observing neighbouring tables). Only negative was the poached egg was hard yolk rather than runny. Had to wait for my drink after food arrived but no issues when I asked the server about it. Higher end of price range compared to similar places in Brighton but not off-putting. Would definitely go back!

I don’t want to highly recommend The New Club simply for the fact we will go the next time we visit Brighton and we don’t want to be any busier than it is already. And deserves to be. The last 2 trips to Brighton because of where we stay we came across The New Club and haven’t ventured anywhere else for brunch. The staff are attentive, helpful and friendly and the food is very good. My wife recommends the Mexican eggs and I tend to have the English which is made from good quality ingredients. I’d also suggest the chilli tequila Bloody Mary for something different. The New Club is a large airy room with plenty of natural light and a tall ceiling so it feels spacious and when it is busy doesn’t get too loud. there is also a downstairs room for larger groups but you may need to pre book this, check with the venue.

If i could this would be 6 stars. Staff were smiling before arriving, a good sign of ambience, seated very quickly with 2 dogs i may add. No bother as pet friendly water bowls without asking, food the food OMG !!!! Duck dish from breakfast specials was insane ! Confit potatoes belly pork my egg was so yolky hmmmm. We visited the new club for a roast on Sunday evening, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere and service was at its usual high standard, there were two waitresses and a bartender there who were chatty and attentive and really helpful with explaining the menu. You could see the staff were rushing around as it was quite busy but they made time for us and checked to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The food itself was delivered quickly and to a high standard, would 100% recommend and will return! Thanks New Club!

The service from the staff was amazing and it's always lovely to see them since we are locals. I did enjoy the cocktail i had, it was cucumber gin and prosecco, was really refreshing. I ordered the caesar salad with chicken for £15.50, it was quite small and could've used more ingredients. For this price I'd expect a bit more on my plate than a couple of iceberg lettuce pieces in a fancy shape and some crispy chicken and bacon on top with a bit of sauce drizzled on. It left me underwhelmed. When I compare what I got here to Smokey's, I'd prefer Smokey's.

What an amazing place! The location is just amazing, gives you a lovely view of the ocean and the British Airways 360 on a clear day. The veggie breakfast was filling, felt healthy to eat and even though they said they don’t do subs, they did add some extra halloumi to my plate since I hate tomatoes, which was a nice touch. Ultimately though, the service is the best thing about this place. I've never, ever written a review for a restaurant before! This restaurant is just brilliant. Called at about 6 to see if they had a table for 2 plus a Labrador. We were greeted by the chap who answered the phone and led to a table, whereby a dog bowl appeared immediately. I can honestly say it was the best burger I have had in many years. Absolutely delicious! Staff were efficient and very friendly. We will return!

A nice location on the seafront and a pleasant venue - felt light and spacious inside, though it wasn't busy at the time (Monday mid-morning). Coffee was decent, orange juice (fresh squeezed) was really nice. I had the TNC Pancakes (w/ Chantilly cream – berry compote – maple syrup) and added a side of crispy bacon. The pancakes were good, but the portion was a bit on the small side for the price if I'm honest. However, overall it was a pleasant experience. Would happily return to try other things on the menu.

GREAT service! Food... Not bad but not great. I ordered a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and my wife ordered fish and chips. For a fried chicken sandwich there was no breading, no crunch, no much flavor besides in defined "spicy" (ish). I now also understand that English chips are vastly different than fries. So even though my sandwich came with "fries" I got "chips" so big, fat, not crunchy, fried potatoes. Truly the service was outstanding. One of our all time best waiters.

Why is the owner sat at the bar / waiting tables / telling her staff what to do in her pyjamas? It’s just so weird, and a bit off-putting. It made a place that serves decent American style food and has (otherwise) nice people serving feel just a bit average and amateur. The avocado toast was a highlight, the £3 portion of three slices of halloumi a relative low. The decor is 80% there but looks like they didn’t have anyone tall enough to put interesting things on the high shelves. Ah yes, and I had a cracking smoothie.

Liked it. The veggie burger was a little dry, but the bone marrow gnocchi was interesting enough to compensate. A few people getting panicked by the delay in food as they had a gig to get to. They seemed to get served in time mind you. Great cocktails. Their Dutch old fashioned was a different take on the classic and strong enough to last a whole meal.

This is definitely my favourite Brighton seafront spot! Great range of food and reasonably priced. There is a corner table that thanks to a huge south facing window makes you feel like it's summer all year round and (what really makes the place stand out imo) the staff is very attentive. It can be quite busy on weekends, but I've never felt like I was just left there to wait and a huge plus for me is that it is (very) dog friendly.

Two members of our group were served pancakes that were chewy and had clearly been sitting around for a while under a hot plate. When we talked to the waitress about it she was quite reluctant to ask the kitchen for a fresh set of pancakes and insisted that they should just choose something else on the menu instead, as the chef wouldn't be cooking up a new batch. After a while it turned out a new batch could be cooked and one of our party felt quite disappointed to be missing out as she had already chosen and been given something else. Excellent milkshakes and the food was, in general, delicious, but we were surprised by the communication failure between the waitress and the kitchen.

Really enjoyed our visit to The New Club in Brighton. Great food (probably the best calamari we have ever had) followed by excellent fried chicken (try the mac and cheese side). Pair this with a spiked milkshake and / or some nice wine or one of their MANY cocktails, and you're sure to have a great night. The service was great, and best of all they are really dog friendly, so our dog was able to join us - she sat under the table enjoying the water the staff kindly brought over for her. Great experience, highly recommended!

Awesome place on the sea front. Not touristy, serves American food. We didn't eat there but did have the cocktails, including the most amazing version of a bloody Mary I've had in a long while. Always playing decent music (definitely your thing if you were not into pop music in the 90s), and the food is really good you know? And the staff are always friendly. It's such great light as well, with the huge windows. I think that's really worth emphasising. Lighting is really important in a place. And high ceilings, the ceiling is really high. Good daylight makes any meal, any meal performed during the daytime at least, so much finer. Anyway short of a skylight, this is some of the best daylight around. I also really like the big photo on one wall. Also something else about the music, I think they have sub woofers hidden around under the seats or something, cos the bass is amazing. Great coffee too, of time I went in there was a power cut and they could only do pour overs, and they apologised but they were so good. I know it's a small point but the crow on the menu stand outside is a nice mark of character. Anyway I like this place, thanks for reading.
