J.Five stars, an incredible experience which can't be overstated. You will be looked after by a brilliant team who will guide you through a journey of discovery...
The menu cannot prepare you for the courses that will arrive at your table, accompanied by a carefully selected flight of drinks to perfectly compliment the sensations that will blow you away.
A couple of pictures attached to give some idea of what you can expect, but not too much to spoil the surprises ahead.
j. j.Had dinner on a Wednesday night with my partner and my dad. The three of us had such a lovely time. My dad being a Swiss/French trained chef it is sometimes quite difficult to find somewhere to eat to hit the spot flavour wise... The dishes were so exciting and the flavours on point. Each dish was as pretty as it was delicious. Special mention to the white wine Loxarel Cora 2020, blew our minds...
I can say for certain that we are already looking for another excuse to come back...
A. R.Simply stunning, had the set tasting menu which was 15 courses.... Inventive, interesting and support tasty. Staff are brilliant, service friendly and welcoming, value very high. Go, this place is a hidden gem!
A. H.The lamb roast was amazing. If anything just a little too filling! Beautifully presented. The waiter, Ozzie guy, was exceptionally engaging and a credit to the kind of restaurant you are. I'd recommend it to any of our friends who come down from London for a very special meal in a wonderfully well presented dining room... And maybe to stay in the hotel too!

S. H.They say one cannot 'buy a view'. This became painfully obvious to the residents of Regency Square when, in 2016, someone stuck a 160-metre tall metal pipe on the promenade and charged people to dawdle to the top. It's the least Regency thing ever.
But things are looking up for our beleaguered Regency residents, because The Set is serving beautiful dishes and excellent cocktails in the heart of this beautiful (ignore the pipe) location.
Many of the ingredients are sourced from Sussex, there's a great balance of fish, meat and veggie dishes, and the staff are fun and friendly.
The only downside (other than the pipe) was that some of the dishes we tried had been sat in the kitchen too long and were tepid and faintly congealed.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed it and will return.

3rd visit - Little bit expensive. We booked an 11am brunch and the staff were rushing us. It was made worse by seeing posters for brunch on the following day, service being held until 3pm which meant we could have took it a lot easier the following day.
However didn't ruin the overall experience and I'm sure we'll be back.
Been back for brunch. Totally hit the spot.
