WOW!! Honestly words cannot describe how good the food is here. I would never be able to tell all of this was vegan if I didn’t know! The chicken dippers and Mac and cheese were absolutely divine, and the milkshake was the best I’ve ever had. The flavour was spot on! Better than I ever expected, even after reading all of the reviews. I would recommend The Vurger to anyone and everyone, vegan or not. Definitely coming here again, ASAP!

Amazing! Not a day goes by where I don't crave this food. I had the mac n cheese with bacon in... Usually I'm not a fan of vegan cheese but I was blown away! Banoffee milkshake was super yummy too. Amazing atmosphere and vibes here, look forward to coming back to Brighton for this place!

We stumbled upon this vegan restaurant and it didn't disappoint us. While at the restaurant looked up The Vurger Co online we were glad to have come across it. We ordered Auburger , Sweet Chilli 'Chicken' and Mac n Cheese. All the three items were very tasty. Portion size was big and very filling. We struggled to finish. Mac n Cheese as we were very full. All the layers in the burger were juicy and delicious. Sweet Chilli 'Chicken' is one of their most ordered items on the menu. We missed loaded chips as it was sold out before 5pm ! Next time I would definitely want to try their loaded chips. Place is cosy and service was excellent. If you are in Brighton, don't miss to visit The Vurger Co Brighton

I can't believe it's all vegan! Visited here with a friend for a late lunch and we sat outside in the sunshine. We ordered separately through their QR code system but the food arrived quickly at the same time. It looked incredible and tasted even better. I would highly recommend the New York Melt! After finishing our lovely food we ordered the Oreo milkshakes to go and they were a dreaaam, so delicious! I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

The staff are super friendly; I asked for suggestions on what to order (because its my first time in) and they suggested the Auburger (Aubergine based burger) which was so yummy I actually devoured it before remembering to take the photo! The BBQ Vegan Brisket fries are okay but its not something I would personally order again. Recommended!

First visit today and I was 100% impressed by the chicken burger on a gluten free bun. Delicious and filling but not bloating in any way, just tasty, and satisfying. Well put together, didn’t fall apart, bun stayed firm and held all mayo, gherkins etc in one place. Really worth a visit. A bit pricey but the quality and effort with their product makes it worth it. Good clean food.

Exciting to have lots of options. Nicely presented and lovely staff. Unsure if having wooden cutlery is more eco friendly than just reusable metal cutlery that is washed. The chicken burger patty is just texture really, doesn't have an exciting flavour (could be much more exciting if southern fried flavour) and it wasn't particularly hot or crunchy. The flavour comes from the sauce and condiments. The burger was quite wet (perhaps from pickles straight out of brine?) and made the bottom burger bun soggy and the burger was dripping as I held it. Mac and cheese was average- I'm comparing it to slug and lettuce which has a fantastic one. Food was fine but a little disappointed. Additional comment in reply to response: I would love to understand how you calculated that single use wooden cutlery is more sustainable that reusable metal cutlery- this clearly isn't the norm for other restaurants or the home environment. Why not use this as an educational moment rather than shutting down the conversation and asking me to remove my query? Honestly, a simple "we have analysed the environmental impact of reusable metal cutlery vs single use wooden cutlery and found it is better for the environment in our case to choose wooden cutlery" would have sufficed without the passive aggressive undertones. Yes my pickles were at the top of the burger but that doesn't negate the fact that the bottom of my burger was soaked and dripping. My review was fair and based on my honest experience, what would speaking to your team about it have achieved? I didn't want a refund and if you'd have replaced it for me that would have created unnecessary food waste. What a defensive response to constructive criticism!

Excellent! Service, menu, size and taste was incredible! The original vegan fast food take out in Brighton and by far the best if you want a good bang for your buck. With many friends having worked in local competitor/copy cat "Really Happy Chicken" this place dies it properly and better. Delicious Seitan, salads, sides and mfking milkshakes.. Ugh would so go more often if it went for the slightly pricey side..!

stopped by for a milkshake and oh my GOD!!! i got the black forest one and it was to die for. i cant thank the staff member who served me enough, he was super helpful. he put so much whipped cream on my milkshake that it went everywhere but i cant complain. he tried giving me a decent portion size AND cleaned it up for me, with extra napkins, straws and cups. thank you!!

We visited Brighton on 16th August 2021 for two nights and this was more or less our first stop. Food was delicious and even my non vegan boyfriend said it was probably the best burger he'd ever had. We both had the chicken style ones and I had a side of macaroni. All really lovely. And the milkshakes are amazing! Staff were incredibly patient and helpful when I specified what I did and didn't want on my burger and they even ask if you have any allergies when you order. Wish all places were like this!

I worked at a vegan fast food place in Brighton that clearly ripped this menu off and wasn’t as nice. so I was a bit worried about coming here but it was 10x better than expected and definitely deserves the hype. Absolutely amazing. I've always loved a burger and with so many vegan options around Brighton , it was a hard choice. We went for this place on Deliveroo, and did not regret it one bit. The food came really hot, and everything was delicious. Had the New York burger which is definitely the best burger I've ever had, and my partner had the dippers which she loved. You will not regret coming here, vegan or not. Also the Biscoff shake was amazing.

Mac and cheese is amazing and their mozzarella sticks are great too. Lovely staff working there providing a great service Unfortunately I found a hair in my food, which made me feel a bit queasy so I couldn't finish but they did give me a take away box. They also sell their cheese sauces and mayonnaise there which make a lovely gift for any vegans in your life. Lovely milkshakes too!

The red cabbage in hunny burger was AMAZING, the hunny flavour was lovely too but the 'meat' reminded me a little too much of chicken thigh which was aways my least favourite part of the real chicken. Very delicious meals! I am not vegan but i went here with my vegan friend. I ordered the sweet chilli „chicken“ bowl and it was fantastic. It tasted a lot like chicken and looked as good as it tasted. A stranger even walked past me and was so amazed that she wanted to take a picture of it. 😂 I literally cant make this up. Disclaimer: You have to order online. At least when i went there (about a month ago). So make sure to visit thevurgerco.com You can also view the menu there. One thing that is also worth mentioning: They sell the burger sauces in jars in case you want to take them home! Amazing!

Amazing Food. Very tasty. Slow service on a Saturday evening. But great location and atmosphere. Very pleasant staff too. Outdoor and indoor seating. Not easy to park close by. Can get a little noisy in the evenings when busy, but generally a good atmosphere too.

I'm gonna put this at the top for people like me who just wanna search quickly but they are super coeliac safe. I order from these guys way too much and my bank probably thinks I have an issue, but I don't regret a thing cause these guys slap. Their burgers have genuinely made me paranoid they contain meat qt times purely because they're so good, their milkshakes I genuinely forget are vegan sometimes and most of all for me THEYRE SUPER COELIAC SAFE even through deliveroo and things, which when you consider giant chains like Wagamamas don't even give you allergen safe options online then it shows how great these guys are. It may seem pricey but trust me, with the quality and car these guys put in it fully worth the price. Honestly 10/10, yall are awesome and I wish everyone who works here the best :)

Oh my goodness! This is one of my new favourite places to go grab some food! I had a massive craving for a dirty burger and stumbled across this place on my way to the beach... I’m so glad I did. Wow wow wow, blown away by this restaurant. I came here randomly as I was looking for a bakery; couldn’t find the place and thought this place looked interesting so went inside and my word was I pleasantly surprised! For a start, they were able to accommodate my gluten free dietary requirements, which I was not expecting at all. A lot of places do not care about people that need a strict gluten-free diet so this was great! I ordered a milkshake, the New York Burger and 50/50 fries, and the food tasted better than meat burgers and fries that I have had before!!!! Food was so delicious, and I don’t have to feel guilty for eating animal products either!! I am not vegan but if all vegan food was this delicious and accessible I WOULD BE!!😊😊😊 you guys have opened my EYES😊😊 The lady serving me was nice and was aware about Coeliac (something I have) and special precautions which is amazing. The only downside is that it was pretty expensive, but I guess you pay for the quality! 9/10 would recommend and can’t wait to return!!! You have a new customer😊

Every component of if from the bun to the slaw, the crispy crackling and the burger itself was outstanding. Friendly staff and a very quick wait time as well. I hope that Vurger Co will, in the future, be able to open more branches across the country in order to reduce the demand for animal flesh and show the public how great cruelty-free food can be. The most delicious vegan burger I have tasted thus far! Highly recommend the New York Burger. The beyond meat patties are just perfection. This is my go to when I want proper vegan junk food. The fries are also good & the milkshakes tasty as hell. Also highly rate their chicken tender strips. Drool. I also recently had an issue with an order. Turned out the Deliveroo driver was to blame but they still treated me to a free meal to apologise. Excellent customer service.

Staff get 5/5. Super friendly. As a meat eater took the opportunity to use ‘eat out to help out’ to try an alternative option. The beyond meat burger was excellent and would definitely have this again. BUT the vegan cheese was not good at all - taste and texture just weren’t that great. I would say that there was too much burger sauce - it drowned out the other flavours. I personally feel that brioche buns are played out in the burger world - but I’m sure there are others who’d disagree. My biggest frustration was when I removed the stick to eat two handed - the burger slid around all over the place. Such a mess. Fries were excellent. Overall - as a meat eater - I enjoyed the food - I’ll hold the sauce and cheese next time though! I’ll definitely try some of the other offerings in future also. It’s no pricier than other Brighton gourmet burger joints - so while it is pricey - it’s not that bad - I’ve paid more, I’ve paid less.

Very friendly, helpful service - nothing was too much trouble. Burgers were delicious - I had a gluten free NYC melt. Great brioche bun! We also had the breaded chicken which was amazing. Look forward to working our way through the menu! Just one bit of feedback - it's always tricky eating gluten-free buns as they tend to break up - surprisingly this one didn't, but you do really need a skewer to hold it together. Was pretty tricky to eat because everything kept sliding off. Otherwise everything was fab 😊.

I really like the shakes, although they could be a bit thicker, but the flavors are really really good. I will come back and hopefully will be able to order the mac and cheese, I've been unlucky because they ran out everytime I visited so it must be very delicious. Please try to reinforce wearing masks with the staff because I haven't seen anyone wear them. And please when possible use a door stop so there's some air circulation. Anyway ever since I've been here I can't have a burger without sauerkraut anymore and I never knew I needed it so much in my life!

The team are always super friendly especially Lois who always goes out of her way to give excellent customer service and have a chit chat over the till, burgers are amazing everytime as for the milkshakes they are out of this world and all vegan which is the way forward. I ordered from vurger through deliveroo and accidentally added the wrong address. On calling vurger, the woman answering was extremely helpful, trying to change the details for me and sort it out with the delivery driver. A Sunday trip to see a friend in Brighton had to include a visit to this new branch of The Vurger Co. The menu is the same as the London sites (I think), and it also has the same welcoming atmosphere and relaxed feel. It was a joy to introduce my friend to the New York Melt!

If you wanted healthy vegan food, don't eat out, cook at home, buy whole foods only. And give us a break, one minute kids will say they hate something, the next minute they'll love it or vice versa 🙄 (or sometimes they're just too spoiled 🤷)
