First time visitor today and been waiting since it opened to find time to visit.. Boy let me say it didn't disappoint.. Wanted to get the mad rush out the way in Wendy's early days of opening... The food I found to be excellent value for money and compared it to butcher quality cuts of beef which can cost more than the burger as a meal itself. The fries absolutely fluffy and lovely as well as the chocolate shake .. The restaurant was clean tidy and well presented with plenty of movement for patrons around the establishment... So why not a five star??? Well sadly the only fault that does it the place down is the packaging that burgers come in can't be recycled and isn't biodegradable either as not seen on any packaging... Overall great visit and well deserved four stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟

It's been years since I've had a Wendy's and I knew they were returning to the UK but I didn't realise they had opened a branch in Brighton. We had been making our way to a restaurant for a leisurely lunch when we stumbled across it and we didn't need to speak, it was as one we knew we had to try it. From memory it always did the best burgers and guess what, it still does. Nice.

I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and fresh all the ingredients were. It was very busy inside due to the hype around the opening. The staff did a great job of keeping everything under control and still producing top quality food.

Trying this for the first time. Very very nice burger and milkshake. The fries could be better as it was a bit soggy and would love to have a larger portion. Staff were nice. The environment upstairs were a bit dirty when I was there flies flying around and no one cleaning the tables. But I would still recommend.

The classic David burgers are amazing!! Easily best item on the menu and one of the best fast food beef burgers. The spicy chicken sandwich is also delicious but comes without cheese which makes it slightly dry and the fries are not that great. Prices are very good with an average of 6.5£ for a meal.

First time I have been to Wendy's in the UK. It was a great experience the restraunt is set over two floors with the condiments, ice and drink machines covered on both floors along with the conviences. The restraunt was clean and staff were checking the tables regularly. There are two ways of ordering at this restaurant either via the till or through the ordering board located on the left hand side when you work in. The machines are simple to view and you can make changes to the items The food was good I had a dates double with cheese fries snd a chocolate frostie. The burger was great. The fries portion was a little small for a large snd the fries were only lukewarm so the cheese congealed quickly. The frostie shake is extremely thick a bearly passes through a straw so you likley need the spoon provided. Overall and excellent visit and would recommend to others.

Small shop but the food was absolutely delicious! Such a simple burger but really really nice! Not any more expensive than BK or MC so definitely an alternative.

My grand daughter wanted to try Wendy's. We ordered on the machine without any issues.Service was quick and efficient.Every thing was clean.The self service areas were well stocked and also clean .We sat upstairs and enjoyed our meal. We ordered a chicken combo meal of sorts each, which we both enjoyed. I couldn't fault my meal at all and I loved the chips. The chicken burgers did not arrive labelled as my grand daughter had customized her one. A label would have been useful. The labelling on the machine wasn't clear enough for my grand daughters drink. As first time users of Wendy's we weren't aware of what their signature drink was.We assumed it would be a milkshake but it presented more as an ice cream.But we will know for next time.My grand daughter enjoyed her drink. We will return for sure .Thank you Wendy's.

My first Wendy's experience was exemplary. The branch was clean and inviting. Couple of small negatives were chips could have been fresher and the music was oppressively loud. Ten there was the burger. I went for the famed baconator. This was a elite burger for a fast food chain. The only way you are going to get better is in a more high end , fine dining type of restaurant. I enjoyed every morsel, Hoovered up all the crumbs. Juicy balanced and filling. I will return.

As an American who has been away from home for over year now, I was rather excited to get a bite from Wendy's for the first time since I left. I can wholeheartedly confirm that I was not disappointed with this location in the slightest. Everything was up to this American's standards. Cheeseburger was wonderful as usual for any Wendy's visit, fries were good, and the chili was quite nice. If you want a taste of quality American fast food, stay far away from McDonald's and head straight here.

It's a nice Wendy's, quiet usually upstairs. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are always a bit dirty, but I like that they're gender-inclusive so that's cool. This is a great place to relax and get a cheap meal after a long day.

Really good addition to the shops in this area as not have one of these stores around yet, and this is one of few. Nice upstairs seating area with views across the road and into shopping centre areas. Good layout with food and drink options available from downstairs and seating both upstairs and downstairs too. Looking forward to coming back here soon.

My first Wendy's burger. The food and experience was similar to other large burger chains in the UK. I was disappointed because I hoping for something better. Overall, a typical fast food experience. Would go again, but with more realistic expectations next time.

The food is actually great - bar none the best fast food burger you'll get out of Brighton and authentic to the American version. The staff at till are efficient too, but the waiting staff are lackadaisical, dishevelled and VERY poorly managed. There are clearly jobs to be done on tables, around the floor and in the toilets, but absolutely nothing seems to GET done. The venue is already falling apart and the flies have comfortably moved in. It won't be long before this Wendy's branch becomes like it's Burger King cousin five hundred yards down the road. A shambolic wreck.

Had a great meal here. I am never disappointed with the food. Always pretty filling. My biggest issue is the drinks machines I have visited quite a few Wendy's resturants in different locations and all of them seem to have the same problem. The drinks machines either aren't working or you get soda water no flavour very off putting as I end up with water and I've paid for a fizzy drink. In each restaurant I have asked about the drink machines and never get the drink I want.

It's a more expensive alternative to the Mac, and while it's not always true, in this instance, the more you pay the better the quality is. Wendy's burgers left us very satisfied, food was great, staff also, only niggle, which luckily didn't affect us, was that out of the 3 order terminals only 1 was working, 10 minutes later nearer lunchtime and a long queue quickly built up. There's also more seating upstairs as it isn't rammed with tables and seats down.

Wendys is my favourite fast chain, particularly the one at Brighton due to the amazing staff and customer service especially from Kate and the lady on the till. I had the Baconater and it was delicious, although it was packed I didn't wait long and really enjoyed my meal. 10/10!

I was rushing around Brighton, trying to find something to eat initially queued up for the taco place, but it was super busy, and I wasn’t prepared to wait in line for over half an hour to wait for Son lukewarm food, so I decided to try Wendy’s. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I know in America. This place is height to the max and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely incredible, fresh hot cheese, melted fresh lettuce leaves. Chips are seasoned like you would not believe I’ve never had chips like it there be any fast food restaurant chips I’ve ever tried the buns or brioche buns so they almost not like butter in your mouth. It doesn’t feel heavy when you eat it like a normal bread bun from McDonald’s, Burger King or KFC et cetera This place is incredible for a fast food chain. I will definitely be eating it again such good food so tasty super friendly staff maybe could do with a little bit more of a clean but to be honest with you I was not disappointed very very tasty

The last time I had a Baconator was in the US a few years back, nice to see Wendy's in the UK and great to see their bacon is crispy, not like the miserable bacon found in BK and McD. My wife had the Avocado salad which she tells me was tasty and filling. The staff were also great and quickly resolved a mix up in the order.

Baconator burger was amazing, hot, fresh and juicy, more like you get in America. Lots of different options for sides like jacket potatoes etc. There was a wait time at lunch (~12-13 mins) and it's not the cheapest, however the food was nice and made then and there so would still recommend.

Went here today had a triple burger tomato 🍅 lettuce 🥬 onion 🧅 pickle tasted good burgers were ok a bit flavourless needed seasoning desperately! Been here 3 times now, food is like a better version of McDonalds, not as good quality as 5 guys. Prices are in-between McDonalds and 5 guys. Thoroughly enjoyed the chilli cheese fries and the breakfast baconata. 2 downsides were on 1st visit which was within a week of opening the wait time was quite long with a 15min wait and the soda machines were all out of syrup on several of the choices, but that was probably just teething problems with new staff and site. Looking forward to come back and try more of your menu folks

Decent fast food. If you're a meat eater this is a brilliant fast good chain to go to. My friends very much enjoyed their meal! Also with how busy the venue has been they are still pretty speedy with service! But as a vegetarian, they have one meal option realistically you can choose from and it wasn't the best. Wendy's. Okay, right listen here. Wendy's is a unique experience. The menu may seem short, but trust me - the options of sides for each meal alone set this place apart. 5/5, recommend to everyone.

Friendly staff and good service from the staff. The are though only three in-store ordering terminals and one of those wasn't working which meant there was a short wait of about five minutes to order. The menu choices aren't as straightforward as McDonalds or Burger King so using the terminal to order, where you can see the items with pictures, options, and prices, is very helpful. Giving the order to the person at the till wouldn't be easy especially on a first visit because it would be tricky to understand the options and the prices. Taste wise, the burgers remind me of Burger King but higher quality and thankfully without the smoky flame grilled taste. The burgers are probably an improvement on McDonalds because the pickles and tomatoes are better quality but the square beef burger is disappointingly much more greasy. The fries I had were barely edible due to being hugely over salted by the restaurant but the two people I was eating with didn't have this problem - I tasted theirs and the taste was perfect. Not sure it's worth the slight price premium over MacDonalds even if the quality of the burgers and sides are better.

Really lovely environment. Busy, but that was to be expected as they are still fairly new. The staff were friendly and helpful, even when small errors were made they fixed them in moments for us. Very accomodating and wonderful to see that their sole toilet (downstairs at least, we didn't venture upstairs) was an accessible one with very good movement and an emergency pull cord that wasn't tied up on the ceiling like so many other places we visit. The food was delicious, my only complaint was that my own eyes were bigger than my belly!

Just had my first Wendy's experience. Apart from the wait in the brimming fast food chain the food was hot, tastey and more'ish. I had a Dave Double meal with chili cheese loaded fries. Came to £8.49 which is a reasonable price in comparison to other burger places. The burger itself was a juicey double patty (square in shape) covered in American cheese, usual salad and burger sauce on a brioche toasted bun. Solid 10/10. The loaded fries however were the let down, very few fries, the chili was extremely salty and the cheese which I presume was red Leicester was whole and had not melted due to the contents being warm. Edible but not enjoyable. Over all this place is a solid 4/5 for the burger alone and the pricing. Would recommend.

Get the chili. Its the most delicious thing in the restaurant. Next time i go im ordering anything that has chili. Its veru mild though and dont think they have an option for hotter. Fries are perfect. salty and crispy. Burgers are comparable to five-guys in flavor and texture, excellent for fast food. Charred and ever so slightly a hint of pink in the middle. Restaurant is nice and clean. Soda machines are also upstairs so you dont downstairs for a refill.

Okay, tried the ‘Baconator’ and the loaded fries. I’m no longer a Wendy’s virgin. We all know the Burger King XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger is the Apex Predator in this world, and is a solid 8/10 - 9 on a good day. The Maccers Double Quarter Pounder is a 6 if what turns up is like the pictures. I’d put the Baconator at a tidy 7/10. The untouched-by-cheese fries are a bit limp, but the portion size was good. Overall, a well earned 4 stars.

We have been coming here multiple times but this time was the worst because we have olded 3 different meals one was a kids meal and the cheeseburger was so salty we had to throw it away also the chips was salty as well I think the kids meal shouldn't have salt on them or give the option on having it on.
