Reviews of Asado
C. G. M. (.
We had an amazing time while visiting Asado during a Friday night.
The service and staff were excellent and always there to help.
The food? Definitely a 10/10! It was definitely fresh, juicy and full of flavour!
We really appreciate that now fries are included with the burger price. I do have to point out that sadly the portion of the fries was extremely small. Considering how much potatoes cost we would of loved having some more fries with our burger, I guess next time we can order some extra fries to share.

Came here a year ago and the burger was amazing. We’ve tried several other burger places in Bristol and this has been the place to beat. We came back for the second time today and it surpassed our expectations again. The wings were exceptional and the burger 5* - definitely the best burger place in bristol!
F. C.
I dined here tonight alone. The staff were so lovely and didn’t make me feel like a weirdo for being on my own. I was well looked after and I had a table at the back. It was very cool vibes and I felt very relaxed. My burger was the El Don and I wasn’t expecting it to be one of the best burgers of my entire life! It smelled so good that it stopped me in my tracks and I had to savour it. It smelled was SO meaty and even though I asked for the patty to be well done it was still really juicy. I looked at the fries and slaw and didn’t think it was a large portion but it was just right. I think this place is a real gem, and I hope to be back soon to try the spicy chicken wings as they sound like a challenge!

Easily one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had; when they say "Do your want your burger 'juicy'?" they mean very pink and it's delicious.
Great selection of drinks as well. Recommend booking. They do have veggie, vegan and kids burgers.
D. E. R.
Genuinely such a delicious vegan burger. You really can't go wrong if you're in the mood for one! The ambiance of this place was great as well and the people that work there were super nice and attentive too! Can't wait to go back again!

Been wanting to try Asado for years and finally got the chance! We weren't disappointed.
We tried a chicken burger and their Asado beef burger, and made one of the fries dirty with the pulled beef.
The chicken burger was insane 👌 super crispy and fresh. Will definitely be back to try others.
Epic flavours all round. Highly recommend.
J. H.
Oh holy moly this was GOOD! Followed their page in Instagram for a while and had to pop in when we were in Bristol! I want to go back again already and it's only been a few weeks since our first visit! The flavours are incredible and the fries are fabulous on their own or with the queso sauce!
J. S.
Fab burger (just the right amount), delicious fries and slaw. Great, friendly service and lovely, low key atmosphere.
The only reason I've not given 5 stars is because there were quite a few things off the menu (no chicken wings!)
S. B.
This is easy.... We had 3 different burgers ...1 Milk Chicken, 1 El Don and a Xmas burger ..mixed in with some fries topped with cheese and pulled beef.... If you go to one burger restaurant in Bristol go to this one 👍👍👍
B. P.
This is a cool little restaurant in Bristol that serves up some hearty food and well constructed burgers. I was in a large group and they accommodated us over two tables which was fine.
Not one for calorie counters...I had the El Gauco special which was burger and steak; it was easier to eat than it looked in a perfectly toasted brioche bun.
The staff were friendly and kept an eye on us although they did forget part of my order and left it on the bill but these things happen.
They have a couple of beers on tap and provide water for the table automatically. Some larger jugs of water may be more beneficial to avoid staff going backwards and forwards topping up.
Not cheap for burger and chips as there are add ons that can see the price sore a little but it was very tasty and I recommend.

Having been to many burger joints I was intrigued to try this place after seeing it featured on TOPJAW, and it did not disappoint - it was fantastic.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the burger was up there with one of the best I've had. Simple yet delicious. Topped off with the beef and cheese loaded chips and I was in heaven. Highly recommend! We will be back!!
L. M.
Great atmosphere with very friendly staff but above all, their burgers are awesome! Juicy and perfectly cooked patty, fluffy bun and very well seasoned. Their chicken wings are phenomenal! However I didn’t like their croquetas - wasn’t delicious and they should really consider if it needs to stay on the menu!

This is the most amazing burger I have ever eaten in the uk! I love the restaurant environment so dark haha
A. R.
Really tasty burgers! The "hot sauce" is really good. The only thing I'm baffled by is, I asked for a large glass of wine, and they serve that as 175ml. That's obviously a medium but the owner thinks otherwise. Other then that, fantastic food and nice, friendly staff.
V. I.
Really good burgers!
I had a burger and some starters, everything was amazing! Really tasty and good value for money.
The burger comes with fries, and these were amazing too.
The location is small and needs a bit more attention, and the service will need to be improved.
I had to ask for cutlery and napkins, these should be served automatically with the starters and burgers (as there is also some coleslaw served with the burgers).
But the quality of the meat and the food in general exceeded the poor service.
So definitely a 5 stars!

From various visits and deliveries the food has generally been good up until my most recently. Burger was overcooked. Aside from that the place clearly needs a good clean. The stairs down to the kitchen and toilets were so greasy you would get heart disease if you slipped. The kitchen was filthy too. Bizarre.
S. (.
Great little, I'm gonna say south American themed cause I'm not sure which country exactly they're trying to imitate, restaurant. The burgers were juicy, superb and definitely fresh especially with a small selection to choose from. Wings were slightly small but tasty nonetheless and quick service. Maybe slightly more expensive than other joints but would definitely recommend to other people.
C. L.
Great food. Quite a few burger options with really great toppings all cooked really well. It was all delicious.
Staff were really friendly.
Service was a bit slow, there weren't that many people in so I think it was delayed by the number of delivery orders they were making.
D. C.
Lives up to the reputation. Burgers are excellent! Tasty and great portions, the staff are great and very attentive.
L. B.
Great burgers, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Really great place to go. Definitely coming back. Only criticism is that it is a tad pricey for what you get but worth it every once in a while!
J. G.
Pollo Libre- buttermilk chicken burger. It was tasty and I loved that it comes with guac and chipotle mayo but I feel like it didn’t have enough buttermilk flavour. Comes with fried that are well seasoned. A solid option if u decide to go to Asado but it didn’t wow me
M. B.
The food is delicious and the music they have is great. They also have QR codes on the tables for their Spotify playlist and their menus and Instagram. Paper menus are still available.
C. L.
If you're looking for good quality, tasty burgers this is the place to go! Really enjoyed their sides as well. We had deep fried black pudding balls and also pulled pork croquettes, delicious!
S. C.
I have been wanting to try this place since before they opened (followed them on Instagram during there preparation for opening)... I wasn't disappointed!... A little higher price than the average burger place, but the food was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. I thought having a water jug and a couple of glasses brought over whilst waiting for your order was a nice touch (not had that at McDonald's or burger king!), And a choice of how well done you wanted your burger was a bonus too!... Thank you, it was well worth the wait, and next time I am in Bristol and in the area I will certainly be coming back!
M.
One of the best Burger Joints in Bristol. The burgers are made fresh. They are cooked to your request, I had mine juicy and I wasn't disappointed. The staff are friendly and very informative. They have a good selection of Spirts and IPA's.
R. S.
Best burger I’ve ever had in my life. Full of flavour, perfect portions and just an overall great experience. Staff were amazing and shop was very chill.
J. B.
After trying some burger places in Bristol and feeling a bit hopeless decided to give Asado a try.... it is everything you could expect from. burger... juicy and very tasty.. it's definitely in my top burger places in bristol.
Only the chips could be better... slightly on the dry side but tasty.
J. P.
Great burger place. Had the El Gaucho and the Croquettas. The chips are great and the burgers are a decent size and juicy. The sauces on the El Gaucho were great and full of flavour and the Croquettas were delicious too. All in all a very good burger joint with a decent set of cocktails too. Looking to come back and try the El Don.
R. M.
We did a "Best Bristol Burger" excersise recently, trying every highly reviewed burger we could find. We rated Asado the highest. Burgers are great, ipa fries are fantastic. Even the table sauces were great.
Really appreciated how knowledgeable and helpful the staff were.
They were a little on the expensive side, as many other places give you the fries with the burger, but they do enough with their fries to make them worth getting. Lots of cheese.
R.
El Don Burger, very tasty and the fries well cooked and delicious.
Service was really good.
It was too cold inside to take off coats and not the most well designed!!
t. c.
Amazing food and choice for dietary restrictions! The waiter who attended us, Paloma, was very pleasant and efficient. Highly recommend Asado for delicious burgers and drinks.
T.
I’m very hard to impress when it comes to food, more so burgers, but having taken the other half to Bristol/Bath for the weekend we thought this place would be worth a try based on the good reviews.
Words cannot fathom how grateful I am that we did dine at this fine establishment. Servers were attentive and had the drinks come out in good time and shortly after took our order. Was fairly busy for a Sunday evening and the wait for food didn’t take long at all but it was certainly worth the wait. We tried the croquette, morcilla ball and pepper poppers which were absolutely divine. Then came the asado wings (highly recommend) along with our double asado burger and pollo libre. I’ve had my fair share of burgers over the years but this place was hands down THE best burger I’ve had in a while, and ever. Beef burger was juicy but not sloppy, condiments were in proportion with the burger and the chicken burger was.. for a better term, a literal orgasm in your mouth. Price was decent for the quality and when next in the area I am 100000% dropping by again.
Keep up the good work!
M. Z.
Food was great! Very tasty and fulfilling. Staff was very polite and friendly. Highly recommended place if you want a good burger.
B. J. C.
one of the best veggie burgers i’ve had in my life. the patty was beautiful.
i got a togo order of the double patty Asado veggie burger. they didn’t give any napkins and the fries were room temperature. sauce isn’t included. normally this would make it a 4 for me but the burger was wildin so it’s all good
H.
Best Vegan Burger I’ve had?
Booked online the same day Through OpenTable. Warm and friendly greeting which continued to the service.
Very attentive service throughout our meal.
Menu was super simple which was super nice as usually you’re plagued with a million options. Regardless of the simple menu you’re guaranteed to find something you’ll like. I had the Vegan Asado burger with some Rosemary fries. Both of which were pretty damn good!
Tables, seating areas and toilets were clean and well kept.
Will definitely be coming back the next time I’m down in Bristol.

I am forever grateful that this place exists. I have honestly never had a better burger in the UK! The staff are awesome and some of the nicest people you could hope to meet also. The kitchen staff are magicians and the food truly is a work of art. They look so good you feel a hint of sadness knowing you will eat it... Then this feeling is replaced with pure euphoria when you start... It truly tastes as good as it looks... You will realise the hype is real as I did!
P. S. M.
Best Bristol burguers! Lovely atmosphere and space, interesting menu, simple/creative compared with other spots, it’s doesn’t aim for dirty or this and that as ordinary burguer joints, it’s a Great combination of ingredients and on top wood fire cooked...South American style! The staff is friendly and relaxed. Price wise convenient and fair. Location is great and it’s not busy (crowd/long wait).
J. S.
Amazing burgers as always, everything made in house. Even down to the sauces on the table.
Went on a wriggle deal this time £20 each for 2 burger, 2 fries, 3 sides and 2 drinks. Easily enough food to feed 3/4 people!
Thoroughly enjoyed it, and can't wait for the next limited edition.

Editing my post after a positive response from the restaurant.
This used to be a 5 star rating and was our fave place for delivery, but recently the portion sizes (of sides) have reduced drastically. We used to just get one portion of chips to share but now seem to get less chips even though the price of each burger now includes chips with each one. The last portion we had was terrible! It sounds like the restaurant are going to address this, though, which is great.
The burgers themselves remain the best we have had in Bristol. It’s just a shame about recent portion sizes and arriving very cold (we have had to reheat it all the past 2-3 times of ordering). I accept that the coldness is more a fault of the delivery service, though, so I’m sure wouldn’t be an issue in store/if you lived closer to the restaurant. Probably slightly too expensive now for us to have as regularly as we used to, but great for a treat!
A. M.
Such a tasty vegan burger here. Staff were friendly and service was quick - definitely recommend!
V.
One of the best burgers in town, never say no to "pink and juicy"! :) Sometimes less is more, go for the Asado Burger, the parsley pesto gives it a surprising twist. Book a table in advance and try the courgette fritters.
I still come back for a good burger every now and then and I'm never disappointed. The new waitress is so nice and friendly, we had a lovely time at Asado again.
P. V.
Not only great burgers but also really good cocktails! Worth a visit for a treat!
M. S.
The BEST burger I’ve ever had! Absolutely unreallll and those chips, Devine!
Thank you Asado👌🏼
B.
Had the Asado burger and chips. Between the 2, the chips were spectacularly good. Was there rosemary added ? There might have been. Consistency and texture of chips were tops ! Especially paired with hot sauce and ketchup.
The burger patty was good, the intermingling tastes of the sauces and condiments in the burger seemed off balance. Patty was well cooked. Onions in the burger tasted tangy and didn’t marry well with the patty. Ambience was decent including toilets. WiFi available for customers.

We went to Asado on a quiet weekday lunch. I had a vegetarian burger, which is deep fried mozzarella - very melty and indulgent, if a bit on the greasy side. We split three sides; the fries were excellent. Slaw was good but a bit chunky which made it hard to eat, and would have benefitted from marinating longer so it wasn't quite so crunchy. Courgette fries were fine but nothing to write home about. Overall it ended up being quite pricey for the standard of food, so I can't see us returning unless they bring in a lunch deal for weekdays - might be a good idea since we were the only customers the whole time we were there.
T. S. B.
IPA cheese sauce and fries were 1st class. Really good quality cheddar and flavor of IPA. Burger is lovely and juicy as said. Really really good burger, and staff were lovely and genuine people.
N. P.
Really flavourful burguers, their special of the month was so juicy and tasty. Nice friendly service as well, and in my option good value for money. A place to visit more often.
J. L.
Best Burger I've ever had. They keep the menu simple, and use high quality ingredients. Their beef is dry-aged and grilled over charcoal (if I remember correctly). Their burgers seem to have a Argentinian twist, which I really enjoy. Service is also excellent. Highly recommend the Asado Burger, and if you want sides, the fries and salad are both great choices.
A. M.
I've found this place in a list of the best burgers in Bristol, so when I went there and got served a "just fine" burger I got really disappointed...
The bun was dry, like if it was old of a couple of days and there were so many sauces in it that it was leaking from everywhere. It wasn't bad tbf, but surely not in the list of best burgers in Bristol...
A. C.
Cozy burger place near the BRI.
Pros:
-burgers were absolutely amazing, especially the vegan seitan one
-guacamole and garlic sauces were very tasty
-fries w/o cheese were great
Cons:
-not all staff wore masks
-tap water is served with cucumbers inside
-cheese in fries is made with IPA, which gave it a not-so-great taste
-30 min waiting time for food
Conclusion: Will come again.
y. y.
Ordered the asado burger, just want to try chimichurri sauce. Beef is okay, I chose the juicy cooked, maybe well done is better, but that needs more waiting time. I like the sauce very much, lots of flavor.
K. B.
A flawed gem.
Had the Asado burger for lunch which was delicious apart from one important thing, the burger bun had that rather cardboard/tasteless texture of frozen bread. This really spoiled my enjoyment of an otherwise delicious burger. The slaw was a highlight, spicy and lots of it and the fries were also excellent.
This place gets glowing reviews and TBH I was hoping to add my own five star rating but I can only rate my own experience honestly. If you can only get half of the burger right then I can only give you half of the stars.
J. D.
Good burgers, but not a fan of restaurants that assume a service charge in the bill (10%). Granted it was stated as optional, but spoils the experience when you have to ask for it to be removed on what is already an expensive menu.
C. H.
All the care and attention that you would expect from a non-chain restaurant, the concise menu shows a focus on quality and the burgers are great, the burgers are thicker than other restaurants and well complimented with home made sauces. Big sides mean you can share and I was really happy that I ordered the black pudding balls. Also great to see local breweries being supported.
C. W.
Great burger, lovely staff! Saw this place on popular YouTube channel ‘TopJaw’, definitely worth a visit for the burger lovers out there!
H. B.
Excellent burgers - we had a beef burger and a fried chicken burger, both tasty and good quality. Generous sides and really good service.
C. S.
Excellent place for a bit to eat! I'd heard a lot about Asado, and seen much of their social media stuff so had been keen to visit for such a long time.
Nice friendly staff when we arrived with some good local beers to choose from. The burger menu was immense, not too much choice but enough to really make you want to try them all!
I had the El Dorado burger and my wife had the Asado burger. Both incredible. Best burgers I've ever had! Cooked perfectly and paired well with a side of rosemary fries. Great portion sizes too, although being greedy I would like to have had a slightly bigger burger!
I can't recommend a visit to asado more!
A. D.
There is a new burger king in Bristol! Not only is there burger the best burger that I've ever had, and I've had a lot, but the courgette fritas are amazing! The service and the venue are great too. Get there now.
J. B.
I've eaten my fair share of burgers here (and they're all great) but sat down to a banging portion of wings on my last visit and they were absolutely delicious! Great food and great beer, enough said really 😁
F. N.
Really tasty el Dorado burger. Verryyy hot but burger was delicious. Ordered the goat shoulder sharing thing too and that was amazing. Definitely recommend. 5*
P. Y.
Outrageously good burgers, cooked juicy and absolutely exuding juice when you bite in. I've been coming here for well over a year and I have never once had a disappointing burger from them.
Quality of the meat is second to none, cooked over an Asado really adds a flavour you just don't get from a normal flat top. You also have very carefully selected combos, I've had most of them and they are all great in their own way. If you're into umami and dark, roasted flavours, the El Don is the one to get It's the one I will revert to when ordering though the Asado burger is great too.
The chip portions are huge, so one between two is fine. I'd personally swerve them entirely and get the wings or some courgette fritters. Also get their homemade chilli sauce, it's ridiculously good and unlike any other sauce I've had.
M.
After seeing Instagram posts from thom-foodery we had to go and boy were we not disappointed! The burgers were perfection and this place will now be my go to burger joint. If they could match hobgoblins dirty fries they would need a much bigger premises!
D. W.
This fell onto the "on a budget" list on google maps. Maybe not so much. Felt it was a bit expensive for what it was - though I'm not used to city prices. There was a decent selection of craft beers on the menu though settled on the Rye and Citra. Tasty. Burger (The Don) was big and looked good. The meat was moist and tender, but lacked a little favour, the additional fillings made up for that. The home made chilli/hit sauce was really tasty. Not too hot, but packed with flavour. The rosemary salted chips were good, but a little too salty.
S.
Had a bit of time to kill before heading for a hospital appointment, and as this was just over the road - and we had both wanted to try it for a very long time - we decided to have a late lunch.
This is not the biggest venue, and I imagine when it is busy it is rammed, but it doesn't feel claustrophobic.
We were greeted with a smile and sat down. The staff were really helpful and friendly - even when I insisted on having a cup of tea.
The food came out after a short wait, and it was exquisite. I had the El Rico - pictured - and my partner went for the spicier El Dorado. Both were served with Rosemary Salt chips - which I could quite happily eat until the end of time.
There are a lot of "Burger" places in Bristol right now. I have been to a lot of them. I can highly recommend this place as it seems to have everything you could need.
It is a little off the beaten track - which helps in some ways I guess - but definitely worth a visit.
A. M.
Firstly, absolutely wonderful staff. We got a last minute table, and the team were so welcoming!
Next, the food is to die for. Best burger I’ve ever had in my life. I had the classic beef Asado burger, and my partner had the limited edition burger (forgot the name). Great that the burgers all come with a lot of fries and tasty coleslaw.
Had the habanero wings to split and they were delicious!
Prices are very fair considering the excellent quality of the food and the wonderful service. One of my favourite places to eat in Bristol.
Skip the GBK and go local, Asado is the place to get a great burger !
L. B.
Friendly staff, they all made us feel welcome. The food is amazing, the best burger we have ever tried, good portion of chips and slaw. Good value for money, would highly recommend.
J. W.
Best burgers in Bristol in my opinion. The rosemary salted chips are in a league of their own also. Never a bad experience ordering from there.
K. P.
Visited last night. The pollo feugo was super spicy and tangy, exactly what i wanted!
My friend had one of the beef burgers and was raving about it! The chips were great and the recommendation for the pulled beef was appreciated.
Overall a very good experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back!
Service could have been faster, but it seemed like one lady, maybe a bloke as well serving a jam packed restaurant. Bums in every seat and at least one large party. So they were on top of things and getting to everyone as soon as humanly possible. I have a lot of patience for staff like this, they were rushed off their feet. The food was served hot, the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was enjoyable, so it’s not like it was a hardship to wait a little longer.
Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos, the food didn’t last long enough 😂
Y. Y.
Small menu, but does it well, very well and I don't mean the meat. When they offer burgers cooked medium rare.... You know you've hit jackpot. Some of the best burgers in Bristol, if not the best.
M. W.
The locality ethos is great - Bristol, through and through. Good beer menu: recommend the black IPA. Burger (El Don) had potential, but was distinctly at lukewarm temperature, and after quite some wait. Would visit again, but expect sharper, hotter, service.
J. T.
Can hands down say this was one of the best burgers i have had in a very very long time! I arrived and asked Luke, the gentleman who served me, what the best burger on the menu was, and the level of detail he went into, explaining the different components of each burger and how they are cooked was incredible and definitely helped me in my decision! Went for the El Don, and boy i was not disappointed! Super juicy, succulent burger and a nice pint of Bristol lager was a perfect way to spend my Sunday afternoon! 10/10 for service, 10/10 for burger! I will be returning!
F. C.
Really tasty burgers and sides with amazing service. I really appreciated them keeping the water topped up at our table without us even having to ask, it's something I sometimes feel awkward asking for. Burgers were juicy with a brilliant pink, don't worry you can get them well done if that's your thing.
Only down side was that they were sold out of quite a few things, we got there at 20:00 so that might be expected. Would recommend for a nice pink burger 😋🍔
L. D.
Probably the best burger I've ever had.
We got a takeaway from asado and the packaging has changed since the last time we got one. The food travelled well before but now it is fantastic, the chips stayed super fresh and everything maintained its heat. I had the El Don for the first time and it was incredible, pure burger heaven. I would definitely recommend asado as one of the best burger places in Bristol
B.
Awesome place! Very relaxed, clean, friendly place. Food was beautiful and well presented and all ingredients are locally sourced and organic.
Only downside was the burger wasnt cooked enough but I was given the option to have it cooked well done or as it comes and I opted for as it comes. My own fault.
Very reasonable prices and I would most definitely visit again. The cheesy chips and Colombian chicken wings were out of this world.
Very happy customer.
D. B.
This is a nice burger restaurant, the food there is top quality and cooked well. Prices are reasonable, however I don't like the buying chips and burger differently. The food took an hour to come out but they were very busy. There is no car park. I had a very delicious hot chicken burger, highly recommend it.
T. D.
Not what it was a few years back.
The burger patty was not very juicy, although cooked medium/well done, and apart from a small amount of really tasteless chimichurry and an unremarkable slice of cheese, there was nothing else to it( no pickles, no other sauces, preserves, veg, salad leaves or other spices to compliment the meat). As for the bun, a bit old and dry. Coleslaw ( again unremarkable) was thrown in the corner of the tray(metal tray that could really do with a bit of more cleaning). If you're going for the rustic look and do not use plates, make sure the trays u're using are a bit cleaner and food better presented, as visually the risk of slipping from tray to trough is really high. Fries were good and well seasoned.
Service was very friendly.
Even though a place that aims for a rustic feel and expected to look a bit rough, it did not look very clean.
Price- paying almost £25 for a single burger and a pint of beer is a bit dear for a burger joint.
Will I go back? Probably not.
P. Q.
They serve a decent burger, the meat was cooked perfectly (however the chimichuri sauce was a little overpowering) they also have a small menu. The highlight are the rosemary salt fries which are amazing. The service could be improved and not sure I like the 'optional' service charge that is added automatically even though it was just me eating (although happy to pay). Overall not a bad experience but in a town full of burger places there are better places.
K. S.
Cheesyyyyyyy and juicyyyyy burger
Omg we love all the food that we ordered !
Very cool place and active staff
Cole slaw is amazing
J.
Food was average - Manager was a tosser.
Me and my housemate have worked our way up through the Bristol Post's 'Best burger restaurants' in the city. Tonight we finally reached Asado, supposedly the number 1 choice.
We arrived and were led to a table at the back of the restaurant as it was so busy. In the small gap between our table and the one adjacent was a massive labrador and it's owners who were feeding it from the table. I really didn't take this for a place that allowed dogs, especially when it was so busy.
After waiting around half an hour we managed to order, this wouldn't have been an issue if we could have ordered a drink before. The food arrived pretty quickly after that. The burger I ordered was great, fries were okay, the chicken wings & courgettes were pretty poor.
We had an issue whilst trying to squeeze out of the packed restaurant when the manager shouted to us that we had paid the wrong bill. He was extremely rude about it and made us feel like we were trying to leave without paying. The one waitress who was working there was fantastic, she had to run around like a headless chicken due to it being so busy. I really don't think I could have coped with the sheer amount of customers she had to look after. Perhaps if the pompous front-of-house manager helped her out then there might not have been so much pressure meaning she needn't apologise to each table every 5 minutes.
With the amount of burger bars now in Bristol I very much doubt I'll be returning to Asado. Burger theory was a much better experience and food.
T. S.
The burger was absolutely delicious and juicy! The staff are very friendly!
Highly recommend:)
A. L.
Everything is perfect, I’ll definitely go again!

Waited 50mins for a burger, the place was empty except for the conveyor belt of deliveroo drivers.
Such a shame as we’ve always had really good food in the past.
Should just make it a takeaway.
S. K.
Great quality ingredients and unusual but tasty burgers! Has a really lovely rustic feel inside and good drinks selection
A. V.
It has been a long time a had such a nice burger big enought, everything fresh. Meat flaverful and juicy. Fries amazing and even homemade mayo,! Definitly coming back. Service nice as well
Sorry for my english
H. O.
Delicious burgers, slightly expensive but worth the money compared to other places!
E.
Best veggie burger I've had in Bristol. Absolutely delicious, very well balanced. The flavours work beautifully together. Meat ones got a good review too! IPA cheese chips are delicious and a good portion!
Edit: Decided it's the best burger I've ever had. You won't regret ordering here!
G. V.
Excellent food, friendly staff, well decorated, portion sizes are huge. Everything is delicious, highly recommended.
K.
If you want the burger to end all burger debates, this is the place! I've followed the proprietor on Instagram for a while anticipating, and I can confirm the hype is all real. Forget Five Guys, they are mere mortals in comparison. The meat is organic and tasty, the toppings immense and the buns perfect! Atmosphere relaxed with great tunes. Come here to relax and eat fantastic burgers and drink great drinks.
M. C.
Waited ages to come here and it was definitely worth that wait! Unbelievable burgers and can't wait to tick everything off the menu
B. P.
Its now 3 days after my experience at Asado Bristol and i must say my mouth is still watering at the thought of that burger. The New Yorker was 10/10 and everything i look for in a burger. The atmosphere at the restaurant was lovely and perfect for a cold January evening. Excited for my next visit.
G. D.
My burger and fries was tasty and well cooked.
Beware, they add a 10% service charge and hope you will be too embarrassed to decline this "discretionary" tax!
A. C.
Great tasting burger and great chips. Portion was very generous. Only gripe is coleslaw could be a lot better and more like actual coleslaw. Would definitely return
A. K.
The El don burger was amazing and my friends' burgers. The chips with cheese were not that good, as the potatoes were the classic frozen ready ones and the cheese on top was too much. We couldn't actually taste anything else except for cheese, which tasted also bad when it was cold. The 4 stars are for the burgers. It is very strange that they close at 9pm, especially as it is like a restaurant.
M. S.
Best burgers in Bristol? It'd be a very close call between here and Squeezed. Definitely a bit of a different element in the cooking over fire, you can taste the smokiness. Sooo good
G. S.
Hands down the best burgers we have ever eaten!
Asado combines a great atmosphere, awesome staff and phenomenal food! Thanks for the fabulous meal and the warm welcome!
Sadly no photos because we were too quick to tuck in, but we enjoyed El Don, a Veggie Pollo Libre and a kid’s beef burger all served with those incredible rosemary chips!
R. B.
Lovely food but felt overpriced for what it was. Not much choice for non beef eaters. Not happy that for a couple service charge of 10% added, understandable for larger parties. Would still recommend though.
T. W.
Really good burger and excellent service yesterday evening. Lose 1 star as the portion size of chips seems to now be smaller and to be honest, not quite big enough. But, that aside the best local burger joint.
T. R.
Very tasty! I got their namesake burger, and it was so delicious. Great flavor combos!
D. C.
Wow. What a Burger! My friend told me that this was the best Burger Place in Bristol and I wasn't disappointed. Burger and fries really hit the Spot!
G. B.
After receiving multiple recommendations to check out Asado, I finally got a chance to pay a visit this weekend. I was blown away by the 'New Yorker', which came with a huge smokey cut of pastrami that really has to be seen to be believed. It was a party in my mouth like no other.
Not only were the burgers delicious, but the service was impeccable too. Two of my buddies had dietary requirements, which the staff were brilliant at catering towards. I couldn't recommend this place enough and will be coming back very soon to try the Pollo Fuego!!
A. H.
great Colombian owned restaurant. The vegan burgers are insane
J.
Nice atmosphere, with fresh, homemade burgers
S. R.
New York burger was bang on. Perfectly cooked. Let down a bit by the chips, they were way too oily to even finish. Blue cheese sauce was really watery too.
J. S.
Very good burgers but quite pricey. Great fries.
W. B.
This place used to be amazing but I'm not sure if they changed chefs or maybe got rid of the Asado grill but it's dry, it's not juicy.. It's okay, it's Meh but it's not legendary anymore. I hope they can go back to their 2019 era.
N. G.
The best burger I've ever had. By far.
M. H.
Great food and service! Me and my wife have the El Don burger which was awesome. This was probably the best burger I've had this year and in my all time top 5 burgers. I also had the IPA cheesy fries, which was a bit more salty than I prefer, but still nice. Really recommend for great food.
I. I. b.
Best veggie burger I've ever had. Amazing fries and great colslaw. I hope this place gets enough money to size up cus it's always full!
L. F. F.
Really delicious, can't fault it! Very generous portion of fries so make sure you share them!
L. S.
I’ve long heard about the top shelf burgers from the good folks of Asado. I’m never one to believe the hype. But I believe, gamechanging patties, thoughtful buns, out of the box sides and amazing service. I just wish I lived in Bristol so I could have this excellence delivered to my door. Thank you!
J. H.
Incredible burger place, situated a short walk from Cabot Circus/Broadmead. Excellent food, friendly staff and nice decor, will be visiting again.
F. B. D.
This place slaps hard. The burgers are incredible, the beef itself its beautiful. The staff are beautiful people. Hip hop, good drinks, good vibes. Thanks Asado.
T. C. B.
Our go-to burger place when we've gone too long without a juicy beef patty, Asado has to be top 3 if not best burger in Bristol. Outstanding quality, consistently amazing and generous sides portions. Never been disappointed so far after many visits / deliveries.
D. S.
Great atmosphere and huge burgers. The staff were rushed off their feet but still really friendly. We had a really good time.
A. J.
Lovely food, maybe a bit expensive but really fantastic quality. Vegan options available.
O. S.
Very good burgers
Giving just 4 stars as the ones I had tried were takeaway.
Will definitely have to go to have from the place as I feel it will get the remaining star once I do so.
L. H.
pretty much the best burger i've ever had, let alone in Bristol.
v. m.
Really nice burgers. Went here on a Sunday evening - pretty busy, but it was a bank holiday. Good juicy burgers made with quality meat and wide selection of sides. Some drinks were a bit expensive, but cocktails were worth the extra money - really well made with quality spirits. We will be back! :)
M. A.
Amazing burger - can highly recommend the New York. Great service - really efficient and friendly. Be sure to book - it was super-busy when we went.
J. S.
Fantastic evening great staff food awesome best burger in Bristol.
S. G.
Food delicious, but we waited a long time to get our order (over 35 minutes) despite the restaurant being almost empty when we ordered.
Y. B.
Absolutely the best burger in Bristol, amazing service and perfect atmosphere. Choices are limited due to covid which is understandable, however all the choices (all ordered amongst friends) were delicious and perfect. Will definitely be back very very soon!
F. C.
This is one of the city's best spot to grab a succulent burger, with a mouthwatering selection of sides (don't skip the morcilla balls). For me, the vegetarian options could be somewhat better, however, this may not be a problem for you, and for meat-eaters, it's a five star
R. D.
Good burgers but they didn't quite match my expectations. The suggestion from the menu and from things I've read online was that if be eating one of the best burgers around which simply wasn't the case. The beef burger was a bit dry and the chicken burger wasn't as flavourful as it could have been. It's still worth a visit but there's definitely better burgers available in Bristol.
C. B.
Amazing burger restaurant! Food was delicious and they were conscious about your dietary requirements, didn't have any but the thought is great. Although it is strictly burgers the quality of them was unexpectedly wonderful. The portion sizes were more than brilliant. One burger and one side is more than enough for one person. And the icing on the cake was that the staff were very friendly and welcoming. You also knew they had a passion for their job as they were enthusiastic about the menu and knew it inside and out. The pride of the staff and food being served makes this a great restaurant for anyone. Definitely will return
s. d.
Rly tasty burger, was overcharged for my drink though ):
H. P.
The burgers were the best I’ve ever had, the waitress was gorgeous and all the staff had great chat. Would recommend.
A. W.
I was really excited to try this place after seeing the delicious looking burgers on their Instagram. The burgers are pricey relatively good but smaller than I expected. We ordered two milkshakes that I could’ve easily make at home, and were pricey for how small they were. Plus, no whip cream! The fries were cold and overcooked. Really disappointed considering how good the reviews are and how well they market themselves on social media. I would recommend trying Three Brothers Burgers! Students get a burger and fries for 5 pounds, and they are really generous portions!
D. S.
The claim is that they make the best burgers in the world. A bold claim, I replied. We ordered through Ubereats and the order arrived promptly. With current restrictions ordering and payment is all online and you can collect or have it delivered. It is a nice arrangement considering the current challenges for restaurant chains.
The burgers we had was their namesake, the Asado. All paper packaging and the food still warm. The immediate look of the burger was awesome and the smell prepared the palate.
My wife, who is not keen on burgers, was first to remark the taste and the quality of the meat. We ordered juicy rather than well done and juicy it was.
Plenty of veg in the burger and finger licking awesomeness.
This was an excellent burger, for my wife it was the best she'd had to date. I, however, will hold my judgemnt until I have tried every burger in the world. Still, it is up in the high rankings. Worth it!
9.
Absolutely 100% delicious meal this evening from the Asado team! My friend and I opted for the pollo burgers - he the Habanero and myself the regular pollo, I’m certainly glad I made that choice with the spice levels! Delicious burger, chips, and drinks served from the lovely manager James
D. Z.
The staff was super kind and the burger 🍔 was one of the best I've had. Also amazing fries! 🍟
D. Z.
Okay, that not trip advisor only google feedback, but if you wish a burger, you in right place. Highly recommend
C. E.
Great burgers, and great service - even on a busy Saturday night. We had the Asado and El Rico, and delicious Rosemary Salted Chips. Great to be able to get such a good burger, at a reasonable price, made with organic beef. We'll be back!
R. S.
Both my friend and I came here on the off chance of "this looks like a cool place" and we so happy we did.
Food was excellent , hot sauce is amazing and the beer is also amazing.
Really recommend it here.
A.
By far the best burger I ever had!
The meat is juicy, ths buns are fluffy and the mayonnaise and ketchup are self-made. The fries with rosemary were extremely good as well!
Additionally, the staff was really nice.
You have to try it!
C. M.
Due to seeing images of the burgers advertised on Instagram, I was tempted to try out this place. Well worth visiting, as my friends and I had a takeaway and tried out the El Don Cheesy chips with shredded beef, all of which was absolutely delicious and very filling. Will be coming back for more soon!
O. G.
The vegan burger was a delight, well priced and of a good size. The chips were well seasoned, a little over salted for my liking but good all around. For true decadence get cheese on them.
The place itself was well decorated. Shame it was a bit cold in there, not ideal for wintery conditions.
W. B.
Incredible burgers! A range if top quality ingredients, tasty sauces, the kind you can mop up with some chips when you're done and a very trendy interior with a vibey atmosphere. The service is excellent. Not your typical burger joint. If you're in Bristol and you're looking for an excellent burger, Asado is the place to find it.
T. S.
Huge portions, you really get alot for the money. Fast service and friendly staff. Big fan of the spitroast pineapple gin on offer.
V. M.
The burgers were very good although a bit on the pricey side considering that they weren't as large as the photos make out. Unfortunately the fries were terrible! They tasted like they had been left to go cold and then reheated.
M. F.
I have had a number of burgers at different places, including burger theory, atomic burger and honest burger. As good as they all are, I would say this is the tastiest. I had the El Rico, it was beautiful. Perfectly cooked gorgeous burger with toppings that served only to compliment and not overpower the meat flavour.
The sides were also a pleasant surprise. We had the fries, deep fried courgette, and corn on the cob. I can definitely recommend this combination. These are not just your average sides and so in this case worth the extra fee quid.
If you visit one burger place in Bristol, make it this one!
S. F.
Came for a late bite. Even though the kitchen was closing, the staff were welcoming and took our order. Absolutely amazing burgers, made fresh and to the best standards. I'd even go so far as to say it was the best burger I'd ever had!! A warm and cosy spot to eat and a bit of a hidden gem. I'd recommend Asado to anyone - such a great place!
A. Z.
It's a lovely place to grab a great burger and amazing rosemary chips! The burgers are juicy and delicious, the chips are nicely crisp and seasoned.
The atmosphere is quite chill, with interesting decor and friendly staff.
Also nice to see they're on Wriggle which makes lunch a little bit cheaper 👌
You won't leave this place hungry for sure!
K. D.
One of the best burgers I have ever had so scrummy
A. R.
One of Bristol’s many decent burger joints. Good selection of burgers a wide selection of toppings. Asado has a cracking atmosphere and superb easy-going customer service with consistently good sides and a great drinks selection. Try the habanero wings if you dare!
N. L.
I went to Asado yesterday with my husband and my little son.
We had a friendly welcoming by the staff then we chose a seat and ordered handmade rosemary chips a senor veggie and a the done.
We waiting approximately 20 minutes, in the while we got our drinks and enjoy the music and the atmosphere.
The food were amazing, the ingredient are all fresh and made with attention, the portion are big.
We strongly recommend this place.
G. B.
The food was ok, not as good as the reviews make it out to be personally. Definitely better burgers to be had in Bristol. But the main issue is the service. The staff are nice enough but it just takes forever to get food. We were in there for over an hour before our food arrived. And we were still landed with a 10% service charge. We didn’t really get much in the way of service.
M. N.
Burger tastes good, but price (especially beer) is more expensive than other restaurant.
A. K.
Good for hipster burgers with creativity. My merguez burger was great tasting if a bit dense. Zucchini fries were awesome. Good craft Ale too. My only comment was i was hoping for other Latino roast dishes from the name outside. But as a burger joint it's good.
J. B.
Such a juicy burger the flavours they put with the beef were unbelievable my mouth was bombed with flavour anyone who knocks this place needs a chuck norris round house kick to the side burn banging burger will be back again and next time I'm ordering two ones not enough 😋
I. J.
Nom, nom, nom! A bit pricey with £6 for a pint, but the burgers are out of this world 🤤
C. W.
Delicious burger, with great fillings (I especially like the pickled onions) and amazing sides, I really like the rosemary fries. The one disappointing thing both times I've been to Asado is the stale burger buns; each time they have literally fallen apart in my hands. Last time it wasn't so bad, but today they tasted stale too. Other than that, they're still the best burgers in Bristol.
V. K. M.
Flavourfull and filling burgers, nice selection of local beers, and a variety of interesting sides. Asado has something for everyone and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Worth if a visit if you're in the market for a burger! Might take pictures next time I visit, but this time the burgers were too tasty to stop eating to do so.
I. W.
Well was recommended this place as the best burger in town and after his last recommendation was a little wary! But this met and exceeded expectations the burger was tasty and cooked to perfect just how I requested and like and had a nice pint whilst I waited for my take away. Plus the staff we welcoming and friendly couldn’t ask for more. 👍
S.
Asado has proven many times to be one of the city's most reliable destinations for a great burger. Though the menu isn't as varied as some locations, the quality of what's available is definitely worth repeat visits. The staff are friendly and helpful though a little patience should be had while they're busy.
I recommend going on one of their many Wriggle deals to fully sample their menu.
R. F.
Whatever you do, don't go here! The service is excellent but the food... It's indescribably fantastic. I'm moving in.
L. J.
A 20 minute wait for a burger in an otherwise empty restaurant - totally worth it! A beautiful burger, cooked to perfection.- tasty and moist. The cheesy chips were more impressive than your standard fare too. Definitely recommend.
O. C.
Mighty burger menu in a tasteful setting. Good beer selection on tap to complement their wide choice of food ingredients. Chips are ordered separately, and one portion serves 2 frankly. Especially if you had their wings/black pudding starter!
P. W.
If you are looking for a burger and a beer, this is a fantastic spot. Sorry menu with a new special on a regular basis. Big juicy tasty burgers. If you don't want the bun, ask for a Lettuce wrap. Lovely beer selection. Friendly staff. Great for quick lunch.
Z. P.
This place is really carried by it's food, up there for the best burger I've ever eaten...
Quite expensive, £17 for a burger with no chips or sides etc isn't ideal but for a nice treat, it is worth it.
T. G.
Very good burger and great beer selection too
s. h.
Incredible food, never fails to disappoint. Always have the buttermilk chicken burger and it blows my mind every time! Beautiful decor and atmosphere, staff are friendly and helpful, and the selection of local beers available on draft is a massive bonus.
A. B.
The burger and the chips were amazing. Perfectly cooked and so much flavour. You also get a good portion size. We were all very full after the burger and chips. Friendly staff, nice ale and a fair price.
S. “. R. R.
Asado!what a burger place. Good service!great burgers! Choice of sides and drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. Keep going back for more!
K. T.
Absolutely gorgeous little restaurant down Colton Street in Bristol! Found this place on Google after searching for burgers and it did not disappoint! 🤤 I had the El Don Asado burger with added bacon and fries, accompanied with a Kalani rum n coke! Oh my days it was so good! A bit messy so regrettably I had to cut it half before devouring it! 😄 Would highly recommend this place and would most definitely visit again! Also loved the logo stamped on the burger...that was a nice touch! 👌
S. F.
Attentive service, good food and nice selection of drinks. Was nice and quiet for a Friday lunch date.
c. c.
Portion size is good. I can only speak for the Asado Burger because it's so damn nice, which seems of great quality and I've yet to order one that has fatty sinew in it. My only quarrel, to which I do not think deserves a down vote but worth a mention for those ordering from Deliveroo: is that if you are ordering more than one burger and chips they still only add two pots of sauce, which is the same as if you were ordering for one person.
A. N.
Great food, freshly prepared and really good flavour combinations. They have taken burgers to the next level! The veggie burger was just as impressive as the meat options, where usually it can be a bit of an afterthought. Will definitely be returning in the future
C. S. J. H.
Great staff, lush food and love the decor. Really can't wait to see these guys find their feet
D. M.
Awesome little burger joint. Clear care has gone in to the choice and sourcing of the ingredients which makes for a super tasty burger!
They also have a fine selection of craft ales, again, a lot are from local breweries.
Will definitely be visiting again
A. T.
Probably the best Burger I have ever eaten. The menu here is small but I have sampled almost every burger they sell and I would highly recommend all of them. They only have 3 or so beef burgers in addition to a chicken thigh burger, a lamb burger and a veggie burger. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great although the music can be a little loud and bassy in the back corner of the restaurant. It's especially worth visiting on a deal available through the Wriggle app. The lunch of champions (kings?) offers a drink, a side and any burger on their menu for only £10, a great deal!
D. P.
My wife has a nice chicken Burger they had run out of beef but it was late. The chips weren't very crispy but they had a nice spicey flavour and were very Moorish. Would we go back - Yes my wife likes a good burger.
A.
Very good quality food, and decent portion sizes. Quite small and due to it being very popular it can be quite crowded and cramped inside. Drinks included local ales which was very welcome.
S. H.
Went here and had the Christmas burger and the el don fries and they were both INCREDIBLE. Best burger place in Bristol
S. M.
The food that I ordered was beautiful. My friend did order the chared broccoli which was inedible as overdone but when asked if they could make a couple extra boiled instead for he to eat, the response was the chef would have to make them just for her and the kitchen is busy so it's not worth it. They then didn't remove the charge from the bill which I thought would have been a given as she wasn't able to eat any of that dish.
BUT again I will say the lamb burger that I had was delicious!
H. L.
One of the best burgers I've had & the mozzarella and pepper veggie burger was great too. Interesting range of sides. Amazing value £15 lunch deal: a burger, side and pint of local beer.
A. F.
🐐 burgers! Read a recent thread on Reddit where everyone was chiming in on the best patties in Bristol and Asado's name was mentioned an awful lot. I like to think I know my way around a burger and was surprised I hadn't had one from here before. Uber Eats carted the El Don to my front door last night and 5 minutes later I was fulfilled; I couldn't move. Chips were magical as well. Go and get one. ✨
M. 1.
The burgers are SOOO good, fries too. Seriously delicious and instagram worthy :) The place is cute and staff is nice.
1 downside: the place really needs some better ventilation. The smoke comes from the kitchen downstairs into the entire restaurant. We came out smelling terrible.
V. K.
Yesterday was the second time I've been to Asado. Both burgers were excellent! The spicy, cheese chips were great as well. If you want a great burger in Bristol, there is only one place to go.
L. K.
Food was lovely, they did get a few parts of the order wrong and tried telling us we were wrong & we ordered a beer that never came (but we didn't pay for it luckily!) But overall a good experience!
A. H.
The burgers were impressive and sides different and tasty. I tried the plantain fries. Only complaint is that I was charged a 10% fee that was listed as optional on Saturday about 5pm. Not sure why I was charged this additional fee.
O. U.
The meal was sumptuous looking and the taste of the burger and salad was phenomenal. Yummy!
S. O.
What a find! Glad I made the walk up Christmas Steps to get a burger here. Timed it perfectly so there was no lunchtime rush. The place itself is really nice - light, airy, great decor, fab beats! And then the burgers themselves. Plumped for the Asado burger and some seasonal slaw. Actually got asked if I was ok with having the burger cooked pink in the middle (which generally doesn't get asked in any other burger places I've been, and the answer was a no) and got made aware it'd take a little longer to cook, which, given it wasn't busy and was a lush day, wasn't a problem (unlike a couple of other people who did moan...).
And then the food arrived! Just one word - Wow! The slaw - tangy with the pickled cabbage, then mixed in with sweetness provided by apple, crispy bite with cabbage/lettuce, and then little pearls of juiciness from pomegranate seeds. And the burger - perfectly cooked without becoming dry, the addition of chimchurri is a thing of beauty, topped with some all-important cheese and some pickled onions, provided a bit of bite. I can only describe it as the perfect sloppy delight!
The staff were great, very friendly, talkative and happy to laugh and joke with customers. I'd happily have sat there all afternoon and tried more, but neither the waistline or bank balance would've thanked me! So that means I'll be back, and Asado may have become my new go-to burger place in Bristol.
A resounding thumbs up from me!!
M. O.
After being at Asado for the second time I'm not sure if there will be a third one. Don't get me wrong, the place is very cool, nice customer service and the food is very tasty... maybe too much for me. I think I prefer more clasic style burgers and these have a quite strong flavour that don't particularly love. I'd like to try their chicken wings though!
S. S.
One of my favourite burger places in Bristol and there are plenty to choose from! Couldn't fault the meal, left the establishment stuffed and happy. Great staff and service also.
T. C.
Great food and wonderful service! The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The menu is small which means it's not frozen rubbish. If you won't your food cooked in 2 minutes this is not for you!! Go to Wetherspoons for your frozen burgers.
R. V.
Really nice tables and decor. The starters of wings and courgettes were the highlight. Absolutely perfectly fried and sauced. Not a huge fan of brioche buns but the public demands them these days. Friendly and attentive service. Will come back!
S. M.
We hadn't booked and we arrived just as they starting to close the kitchen down. The waiter was brilliant, he let us stay and advised us what was still available. the burgers were delicious, the herby chips were perfect.
Thank for allowing us to dine and dash.. Just what we wanted👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
J. T.
So been meaning to pay Asado a visit for quite some time and got to say was not disappointed in the least. For one of many burger joints you'll find in Bristol this one has proven to me anyway, that it's a contender for the top spot.
The place itself is cosy/casual and has a cool vibe and the staff there are chilled/easygoing too. Asado is great for small groups and I can imagine it getting pretty busy during the evenings.
I went with the salted caramel milkshake to begin with and if it wasn't for the fact its server ice cold I'd probably have another during the visit. So damn good!
For the mains I went with the El Don along with some Expresso BBQ Wings. Can tell you one thing for sure the chef did not mess about with the flavours with both dishes, I'm a big fan of BBQ based foods so the options worked well for me. Will have to pay them another visit to try out the other burgers from their menu.
B. G.
Exactly what you want from a burger restaurant. Simple menu as opposed to an overwhelming choice that leaves you lost amongst an endless possibility of toppings. Fried perfectly seasoned, in fact everything was perfectly seasoned! Loved the spicy kick to the slaw. If you become a regular at Asado they also have specials to keep you interested. We tried both the beef and chicken, veg next time!
S. M.
Really great food
Definitely one of the best burger places in Bristol city centre.
For vegetarians I would definitely recommend the Senor Veggie, and the rosemary fries
The food can get a bit expensive, but they almost always have offers on Wriggle and other apps.
C. L.
Got the pollo libre and it was delicious. Loved the chicken and avocado combo!
N. B.
Went here on a Monday night and felt very welcome by the staff. The food was great, one of the best burgers in town and wasn't charged a fortune for it. High recommended and I'll be back!
V. K.
I have visited twice now. Both times the food was very good. This time I think we came at the beginning of it getting quite busy so we had to wait a while for our food - we ordered wings, which take longer. It was worth the wait but maybe next time it would be nice to bring out the fries or some other side whilst we were waiting. Otherwise, very nice place, cosy and a good selection of local beers and friendly service.
N. H.
The "el Dorado" habanero-mix burger (no pickle for me) stands as one of the best burgers I have had the pleasure of tasting. You pay your fair share for it, but the staff have been friendly and the food excellent. Can and will recommend.
c. p.
Great burger. Very filling. Sides were exceptional. Not the best drinks menu but the food more than makes up for that.
A. M.
Cracking burger, served pink with great sides. Dirty goat fries were a win!
D. C.
Excellent burger place. Great place to eat in, plenty of room (my buddy is a husky guy but feels comfortable here), and good music. Only caution would be to NOT order on deliveroo from here - the food just doesn't travel well. Otherwise everything has solid portions and solid ingredients!
M. K.
Asado burgers are hands-down the greatest burgers we have ever had. Each one is a freaking journey of taste. The service here is brilliant, manager Fiachra is funny, charming and super knowledgable about the ingredients and ales. With so much competition in Bristol, Asado keeps coming out on top. Asa-go to Asado 😎
N. T.
Been 3 times now & each time the food has been on point. I have tried all the burger places in Bristol, & Asado is by far the true Don. Hands down, best burger joint in Bristol & I would go as far to say probably the whole of the southwest, & that includes Blas Burger works in St. Ives, who until a few years ago were my reigning champions. Seriously, want a juicy, tasty burger? Asado should be your only port of call.
N. M.
Mouthwateringly scrumptious. I'm not a burger aficionado, rarely eat them. Probably scarred for life by the world's most popular. This, however, was a juicy, tasty, fresh delight.
S. A.
Best burger ever!!!!The staff were amazing and very attentive. We will be back next time we are in Bristol. Thank you again!
E.
Food was ok. Service was a bit lack lustre. Apparently you can only have your burger medium or well done as those are the only 2 options on the till. I prefer mine medium to well done. I'll find somewhere more accommodating next time.
H. K.
Best burger in Bristol! Ok, maybe top 2... Really amazing though. Super friendly wait staff, and a chill ambience. You really can't ask for more :)
D. R.
Hit and miss. Best rosemary chips ever. Decent chicken burger. Chicken wings lacking flavour and too charred. Unsavoury language can be heard from staff at the bar. Better burger joints in Bristol.
C. M.
The food was great, some of the best cooked burgers I've had in Bristol. We went when it wasn't busy, and the service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely be returning

Really good burgers. Rosemary chips the best in town! Expect to pay between 8 and 10 on average for burgers, and £5 for sides. Definitely would go again.
T. S.
I went for the lamb burger, which was definitely up there amongst the best I've had in Bristol, perhaps neck and neck with Atomic Burger. The latter have more choice, which can be a bad thing when it comes to making a decision! The rosemary seasoned chips were nice although unless you have a huge stomach, if you're there with others you may consider sharing portions of chips between two. That or pace yourself! Whilst we waited a little while for payment to be collected for our bill so we could be on our way, all staff were friendly. My only suggestion would be that as the food was rather messy, some KFC-style moistened towelettes in addition to the serviettes would be great. In any case, definitely coming back again.
T. P.
Used to be brilliant now bellow average, serving uncooked wings and average burgers also portion seems to be half the size it used to be
A. M.
Conveniently placed, comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. And food really good
L. C.
Amazing Food! Great service! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!
G. C.
One of the best burgers that you can get in Bristol... A bit too expensive but okay
N. C.
What a great find. This restaurant is top quality burgers with the best beef around. The staff are all lovely and even find time for a quick chat. Next time we are looking to have our staff Xmas meal here in Dec.
T. G. (. G.
Amazing, the food was great! The dude taking orders was a top bloke too. I rate this place.
J. C.
Easily one of the best burgers in Bristol
J. B.
The burgers were absolutely perfect, great flavours and a good selection of local beers to wash it all down with. Friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere.
J. B.
We stumbled upon this really cool and quirky restaurant, when visiting bristol hospital. I would literally drive there again from Wales to have another one of those burgers. Really fantastic experience.
R. B.
Wow! Reeeeally great food! Tasty, big burgers and quality chips. First time customer here and tried out 'click & collect' service. Very happy. Will come back.
T. P.
Very good burgers loved the IPA cheesy fries also. Maybe too many of those but who's complaining.
M. G.
One of the best burgers ever! Not to mention the host was very nice and entertaining. Deffinetly on my top 3 places to eat in Bristol for a dirty burger!
M.
Edit: Asado has changed their hot sauce. The grief has driven me out of Bristol.
Asado hot sauce: an obsession. Ever since I visited Asado I have not been able to get their hot sauce out of my mind. I eat hot sauce on almost everything, but the sauce has to be fiery and flavoursome. This description is Asado to a tee. Their flame-grilled burgers absolutely ooze with flavour that even my excessive hot-sauce-boarding of the main course didn't detract from how delicious it was. I think I'm drunk on the hot sauce, but it was a meal that I immediately wished I could eat after I finished it. I would sell my own mother for that hot sauce.
J. P.
Absolutely delicious fries and burgers, and nice locally made wiper and true ale. It's as expensive as you'd want a burger place to be so as long as prices don't increase I hope it sticks around :)
L. B.
This is an outstanding little restaurant which takes extreme care sourcing every ingredient from the meat in their burgers to the charcoal that they cook them on.
This culminates in an exceptional experience from start to finish I would highly recommend anyone who enjoys food to visit Asado at the earliest opportunity.
B. K.
Loved the lamb burger and cheesy chips!
L. K.
This restaurant has friendly staff, a great atmosphere and delicious food. They catered for a birthday party of 18 people and made us feel welcome and well looked after. Big thumbs up!
A. (.
Great atmosphere and lovely burgers, what more can you ask for!
M. R.
Lovely niche restaurant. The food was really good and the portion sizes adequate. Staff really friendly and bubbly and talked away to is. Really recommend this lovely burger bar.
P. R.
The burger was so juicey and flavoursome, the fries were like sticks of heaven packing proper flavour and seasoning. Totally recommend to anyone in need of a good burger
A. G.
Probably THE best burger in Bristol! Great quality products, amazing flavours - a must try in Bristol.
P. T.
Vegetarian burger was a red pepper and mozzarella burger. Loads of chips! Some good craft beer available and I would go again. Delivery and eat in. Friendly staff
M. V.
I've been here in the UK for almost 2 years now. It's a pleasure knowing now that this place exists and I can get the best Burger whenever I feel like it. Not exaggerating.
C.
Absolutely beautiful burgers. Some of the best I've had.
Plus their covid regulations are absolutely on point.
10/10
L. W.
Really good 😊
K. V.
Amazing burgers of your choice with various options of sides. Staff was very friendly, and the restaurant has an open kitchen so you can see what’s happening behind the scene !
C.
A very great Burger! Taste was amazing and really juicy. I will definitely go there the next time.
Have the Asado Burger
S. R.
Food is fantastic but whenever I have takeaway - the food is always, always late. Really frustrating for what otherwise is a good service
A. P.
Really great food. Not surprised it has the highest reviews of burger restaurants in the area. Try the asado burger and courgette fries. Just great
T. W.
Best burger in Bristol without a doubt, been here many times and will continue to go. Would recommend
R. T.
Delicious burgers! A bit pricey, but it's worth it for the quality. And the waiter was super friendly.
W. T.
I'd heard this was one of the best places for a buffet in Bristol and I wasn't disappointed. The 3 different burgers we had in our group were all really juicy and delicious.
K.
Brilliant food. The chips are amazing and the burgers are very tender and light. Lots of sauce in the burgers so don't wear white clothing.
K. D.
A big messy burger, incredible. Would recommend sharing the wings as a side too 🔥
D.
All gorgeous . The chicken wings are really a thing of wonder. Not five stars as the lovely chips could have been slightly warmer.
J. R.
Lovely people and interesting menu. Great beer on tap. For me the food on two visits hasn't quite hit the spot but at least their doing something different
I. R.
Best burger I’ve ever eaten.
K.
Amazing every single time. The staff are great, the burgers are cooked to perfection. The best burger place in Bristol 😋
P. S.
Great staff, great food! Highly recommended!
g. f.
Best burgers in Bristol, hands down, no questions, end of story. The fries are pretty good too...🍔🍟
J. R.
I really enjoyed my burger & service but they had ran out of veggie burgers & the vegan burgers are not gluten free, which meant 2 members of our group of 12 struggled to eat but if you're normal the meaty goodness was great
M. D.
Friendly service and great food! The croquettes were delicious and the el don burger was a favourite.
E. R.
The chips are worth a visit alone. Mmmmmm inducing chicken burger. Beef burgers perfectly pink and perfectly juicy. Friendly staff. Would definitely go again.
P. C.
Tasty burger and chips. Friendly staff and quick service but with no rush to move on once I'd finished. Great central location, worth seeking out.
K. O.
Burger, drinks and service 10/10. Absolutely stunning. Everything made from scratch and locally sourced, definitely worth a visit if you're around the area.
D. S.
Not the best burger I've ever had by far. It was dry and over cooked. The chips had no salt and were pretty bland. Maybe I was unlucky as it seemed pretty busy with only 2 people running around but I wouldn't come back here.

Our fuel before going out for a few drinks in Bristol!
We visited @asadobristol to try out thier newly introduced burger called El Rico.🍔👍
The El Reco: Oak grilled dry aged organic beef patty, valley of Camelot stilton, naturally oak smoked free range streaky bacon, house made pickle sauce, shoe string onions, lettuce, tomato in a seeded challah bun.
We'll we had a whole range of burgers & wings of the menu and it was all 'Proper gert lush!' gets a massive 👍 from us. Cheers guys for a great meal.🍔🍗🍻👍😊 #burger #patty #elrico #eatingout #asadobristol #bristol #asado #bristolburgers #restaurant #igersbristol #burgerrestaurant #beefpatty #cliftonchilliclub

Great burger, really good meat but they need to up their bun quality to get that extra star. Well worth a visit!!
S. C.
Fab burgers! We especially enjoyed the pesto mayo...
J. L.
Great service, but burger was a bit odd tasting. Second time visitor, felt first visit six months earlier the food was better.
R. R.
Delicious food and great portions, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely going back!
D. J.
Got a takeaway from here, it was seriously tasty! The burger was cooked pink (as it should be) and the sauce and toppings were perfect. The El Don burger is the way to go!
R. S.
One of the best burgers I ever had. The only bad thing: I ask a glass of wine and it was very very warm. So just don't ask it if it's a sunny day! 😅
J. F.
Amazing burgers covered in sauce and cheese! The fried chicken burger was crispy and huge! One of the best burgers in Bristol.
B. I. (.
High quality food with good service! Recommend that place
E. R.
People are right, this is the best burger in Bristol.
a. m.
We ordered on deliveroo. Burgers were excellent and so were the chips! Haven't visited the store, but definitely will now having eaten on takeaway!
P. B.
Amazing burgers and fantastic sides. Staff are friendly and there's always a good choice of beer available. Highly recommended
S. D.
Popped in for quick lunch, 2 had Asado burgers - delicious, 2 shared cheesy chips (the cheese went all through the bowl, not just on the top), black pudding & coleslaw - also all delicious
J. H.
This is no small statement.. The Best Burger I Have Ever Eaten! Lovely staff too and a good price: £8-£9 a burger
Y. S.
Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and the burgers super tasty. As mentioned before the homemade chilli sauce is great. I love this buzzy little place.
B. G.
Bit of a different burger than the norm. Accompanied by some home made sauces which are delicious and all at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
K. K.
Best burgers in town 🤤
A. L.
v high quality veggie burgers. service quite slow but attentive staff
A. L.

P. v. d. M.
The absolute goat of burgers! Best burger I've had in the UK and the staff were great aswell!
P. L.
I was told this was the best burger in Bristol. Mine was overcooked and the chips were floppy. The burger completely fell apart and had to use knife and fork. Meh
N. P.
Very welcoming and super friendly service in this lush and reasonably priced burger restaurant. Vegetarian options and lovely beers available and the kitchen is viewable downstairs.
N. M.
Asado always has a good vibe, consistently fresh menu and Greta snacks and drinks! The veggie options are fantastic also. Highly recommend!
K. Y.
VERY tasty burgers and chips! Ingredients as natural and homemade as is possible. Did not disappoint! Would recommend.

I. B.
Great burger with full flavour. Might be best one I've had. Good lunch deals.
E. P.
My beef burger was great, but tried a bite of another (lamb) and was not impressed - very burnt. So it may be hit and miss.
S. W.
Very tasty burgers, with a nice ambiance. Service could be slightly better, and the addition of more vegetarian/vegan options would be welcome
N. K.
The best UK burger🫡
S. L.
A bit pricey (£22 for a burger, some chips and a pint) but a decent burger nonetheless.
R. N.

Lovely food - disappointing service, and no initial effort to genuinely apologise or offer any compensation for such poor service. I will email you directly now. Lucien thank you for following up with me and resolving the issue, as I said the food really was very enjoyable.
T. S.
Awesome place, amazing burgers and friendly staff! Can’t wait to get back after lockdown! 🙂

Chips are amazing, but the vegitarian option is limited and putting mozzarella inside the actual burger is not the best idea
M. C.
A very nice place with very nice food.
