Reviews of BANK
I. B.
Very delightful brunch, with nice drinks. We had the iberica chorizo with sourdough and tomatoes, and the smoked salmon chive crumpet.
Highly recommend trying both, but slightly preferred the crumpet as it is a bit softer.
The sourdough was quite crispy, so I also really enjoyed it.
Overall a very nice experience and worth a try.

An amazing alternative brunch to English cuisine at Bank Bristol. Beautiful fresh, cooked spot on, Moroccan hads with harrissa yogurt, Chorizo baked beans with Pork belly, smoked salmon with lobster aioli and charred spring vegetables..all the poached were cooked perfectly, a really delicious brunch, nice place, great servers, well worth a visit.

Went here on an impromptu walk over to Totterdown and it did not disappoint. We ordered most of the menu! Everything was delicious, we would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Nice little cafe on the side of the road with a good choice of food. Their home made crumpets and menu rotation always makes you want to try something new. Drinks are great, I can tell it's a genuine speciality coffee cafe
P. G.
2 mocktails were had. Really impressed with the service, quality and flavour. Bank was a win. We were also delighted at how light and spacious the interior was!

Bright, modern place. Great team. Lovely food with some unique dishes.
S. B.
Great place for brunch/lunch. I had the crumpet toasties with miso sausages. Best crumpets I have ever eaten.
Lovely service. Lovely decor.
I would return for drinks as their cocktail list looked incredible

Super tasty and inventive brunches. Friendly service. And the best iced coffee I've had in a long time.

A really lovely cafe restaurant! Had been stopping in Bristol and wanted a place for brunch. The building was really cool and inside the atmosphere was great. We were served by Chloe who was very warm and friendly. The food & coffee were delicious. Definitely would recommend to others!

I've been here a few times since it opened and each time felt really welcome. Coffee, pastries and service have all been fantastic. Take away is quick and easy which is a bonus when not sitting in.
Fantastic decor, it feels so light and airy. All in all a great addition to Totterdown which has been crying out for a place like this. Can't wait to try the food and cocktail menu!

Absolutely incredible. A group of friends and I went to BANK for brunch. The space, food, coffee and staff were all great. Go ahead, treat yo’self.

If you've ever been into the old Banco lounge it is a little surreal to see it fresh, clean & contemporary. Its a great space. Service is amazing, staff very attentive. Really great selection of drinks from creative cocktails to local vermouth, local beers on tap (newtown park/lost & grounded), great wine (we had a £20 bottle of Portugese red with food 👌), they had an organic option also. Food is well executed & very tasty (small sharing plates). Just need to up their desert game.

Really fantastic food. We did the “all in” option and every dish was delicious, even the ones that we didn’t actually think sounded great on the menu. Lots of unusual ingredients and flavour combinations. An amazing and very welcome addition the area.
J. L.
The food and drinks are amazing at Bank. Weekly menu updates too. You’ll be choosing your options, tapas style to have 2-3 dishes per person or to share. There’s usually good vegetation options too. Only downside is that it can get expensive quick!
A. G.
Super friendly and accommodating, with intriguing coffee offerings and a boutique experience just outside the city centre. It definitely feels like the beginning of something remarkable, and I heard whispers of wine tastings and similar events taking place in the near future. Worth the walk.

Popped in for a coffee and stayed for cocktails after looking at the menu. Nice addition to Totterdown and I will return next month to try the food.
May 2022 update.
Went back for brunch today, wasn't disappointed. Lamb hash paired with a mint tea was a great way to spend a rainy morning.

An absolute gem! We stumbled on this place while taking a time out from a gig down the road. It was a perfect oasis of lovely food and drink for three tired women who are not as up for an all day gig as they once were. The chorizo, cod roe, and sweet potato were the winners but everything was lovely. Very happy to have stumbled on this modern small plates place. A small slice of heaven in Bristol!
L. C.
Great coffee and now tasty brunch options. Also popped in later that week for a nice glass of wine on our way out. Great service too.
G. D.
What a great place. Coffee was great and drinks were even better! Service was on point too, lovely staff, and the owner was very insightful and helpful.
We came just as they opened for the first time, so the food wasn’t available, but from what we heard, the food is going to be amazing.
100% will be going back!

Great food and coffee, we had a really tasty and filling meal. The staff were really helpful and friendly, I'd definitely recommend coming here.

We chose this place to celebrate bday and was so on point!! They keep the menu simple but with interesting ingredients like nduja satay and cod roe. Also homemade sourdough bread, absolutely loved it!!!
The plates are small but put together they create a massive flavour explosion and it's filling.Staff is also super nice and attentive at all times.
Keep killing it guys!! Xx

Always polite, friendly and very welcoming. Once I was a doughnut and realised just before my breakfast order arrived, I'd left my purse in my dad's car. Even though a lady on the next table very kindly offered to pay for me, the staff were good enough to say that was OK, they'd sort it out with me as I'm quite a regular customer. Last time I was in here, a chap who works here brought a dog treat over for the dog at the next table. I thought it was really sweet. I'm glad this restaurant has opened - I missed the Banco Lounge when it closed. Good selection of speciality teas. Plain buttered crumpets would be a welcome addition to the menu.

Amazing food & drinks, great ambiance & great service.
Menu changes frequently so there’s always something different to try and we’ve never had a bad dish
This time we had one of all the small plates and they were all delicious, we’d particularly recommend the ox tail rendang, buttered kimchi, lobster bouride and the blueberry mess to follow
P. B.
Excellent service, beautifully mellow coffee, wonderful cinnamon swirl.
A good refreshing atmosphere. Good spot to relax.

Brilliant coffee, bar, restaurant. Coffee was top quality and well served. Food was brilliant and well priced. Staff are really friendly. Very pushchair and child friendly. Certainly worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Nice small menu but still with something for everyone. The coffee is good and all the food is good quality and well cooked. Really enjoyed it and will go back. If only to try the cocktails!
D. H.
Great menu full of interesting choices. Everyone absolutely loved their food, it was all delicious. Excellent coffee, cocktails looked great. Really lovely space and friendly staff and all for very affordable prices. Couldnt want for more. Cant wait to go back!
S. W.
This place is wonderfully relaxing, with great customer service and beautiful tasting small plates of seasonal, extraordinary food.
The cocktail list is small, but very quirky to.
Would throughly recommend this restaurant we just walked in to be given a table, but not expecting it to stay like this for long.
Amazing food, delish cocktails and nice friendly service.
Will be trying out breakfast next and brunch.
D. W.
Innovative menu - loved the vegan charcuterie, clever cocktail, great service. We'll be back!

Went here for a girl's night out, excellent menu, we had pretty much everything in the menu between six of us. Delicious.
C. W.
Spacious and airy, met some other mums here and there was space for a few buggies and bouncing mums on a weekday afternoon! Changing table in the disabled loos, welcoming staff, gorgeous cakes and coffees and a decent selection of beers too! Lunch looked delicious though didn't have it myself (this time..)

Food was delicious. We went for the deal and ordered all of the small plates on the menu...couldn't fault any dish. The cocktails were the best I've tried in Bristol. Nicest old fashioned I've had in years.
E. A.
New fave place in Bristol. The food is insanely delicious and the menu changes quite often so always something new to try. The cocktails are also so fun and yummy. Really reasonably priced too. It's a proper treat!
D. T.
Overpriced and bland.
My partner and I have been here three times. The staff are lovely and I can't fault the service but everything we've tried - food, coffee, cocktails - has been totally flavourless. It's actually almost impressive - we were genuinely worried we'd got covid because everything was so tasteless. (We hadn't.) The coffee was weak (think it was only a single espresso shot which should be a crime), the cocktails tasted watered down and the food was bland. At 9 quid a cocktail/small plate I was expecting it to blow my mind but it was a waste of money really. Nice atmosphere and like I said, great attentive staff, but won't be going there again.
D.
Was very naughty, the food was great and all drinks were great and coffee was great and staff were lovely. Can't fault it x
P. W.
Lovely new coffee shop and cocktail bar. The staff helped us choose from the very interesting cocktail menu. These are not your average cocktails! Each one we tried was something special. The ‘Afternoon Tea’ was my favourite.
Cant wait to try the food menu once the kitchen is up and running next month!

Beautiful food delicately crafted with a well thought out menu. Enjoyd every plate that was different from anywhere I have eaten in a while.
D. B.
Very nice atmosphere and vibe. The coffee, tea and cake were great.
M. F.
Nice place, a few local craft ales on draft... Top notch service. Only went for drinks so can't comment on the food. Loads of space between tables.
A touch on the pricey side tho...
B. C.
I love that they provide water to the table automatically. Nice atmosphere.
J. K.
Great service, smashable food and well thought out cocktails
P. Y.
Just opened mainly doing drinks and cakes at the moment. Looks very nice, staff are friendly, attentive and approachable. Will definitely visit again especially when they open their kitchen fully in a few weeks.
A. B.
Beautiful service and lovely brunch. Defo recomend the brunch and coffee ☕ 😋
c. v.
Lovely ambience, really interesting menus, great bloody mary, friendly staff.
P. T.
Great service, awesome atmosphere. Coffee is tasty with proper flavour (unlike the stuff you get at bigger companies) as it's the food menu. That bone marrow dish o-m-g
D. H.
Not your typical brunch menu. Superb flavours to the pork belly hash
D. C.
loved the cozy atmosphere, the crumpet sandwiches were very yummy. I enjoyed the sauce paired with it!
D. H.
Great place, pleasant and friendly staff, possibly the best food I've had in Bristol this year
P. W.
Early signs are good for the new addition to the Totterdown scene. Great service, fantastic drinks selection, and very good service.
Let's hope this bodes well for the food menu when introduced.
A. P.
Amazing food an coffee. Staff are always friendly
M. C.
This has the potential to be 5 star. I have not given it 5 stars for a couple of reasons. Whilst the coffee is excellent it is served in small beakers which make it impossible for them to offer coffee other than luke warm. Can you consider offering a cup with a handle. Secondly not everyone is willing or able to give a tip. I did not like contactless machines which force a Yes/No.
None of the above will stop me from recommending this place, give it a try, a welcome addition in totterdown.

Just picked up a coffee from this place - really nice nice interior, friendly staff and some of the best coffee I've had in Bristol (and the competition is fierce so that's saying something). Will definitely be back.
A. Y.
The coffee was nice, and the latte art was very impressive. Nothing on the menu stood out for me, so I can't comment on the food.
T. L.
Phenomenal drinks and service, a must visit in Bristol.
