Great customer service. Massive portions of chips keep us coming back. Lovely batter and fresh tasting fish. Not the cheapest but definitely the best.

Lovely chips, great batter, the fish (cod) was not the best, certainly not like that which we get up north, and the price was rather a robbery, with barely change from £30 for 3 meals.

I just had the small chips and regular cod for probably the third time from here. It's definitely pricey - I feel like this £8.20 meal would cost £5 anywhere else - but it's good every time (and close to home). The chips are the right mix of crispy and fluffy, the batter is well done, the cod is tender, and they added just the right amount of salt and vinegar to flavour it and not drown it. And the portion is decent. Some people seem to have had bad experiences though so maybe it depends on who's on.

Hands down the best fish and chip shop in Bristol! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The food is top quality and really big portions. The staff are also so lovely. I have recommended this chip shop to family and friends and they also agree the food is amazing! 100% recommend to anyone.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else! Quality of food is incredible, portion sizes are way bigger than anywhere else I’ve experienced! This ties in with the great value for money, you get more than enough for what you pay for! Staff are always welcoming & very helpful. Disappointed Had fish & chips here tonight. Prices have gone up (we accept that) but the quality of fish has really gone downhill - skin on, never used to be. On the positive side, every thing cooked well and generous portions. However I wont be rushing back.

Just moved in the area and was recommended Bradley Stoke British Takeaway by a colleague. Have to say this was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. All cooked fresh whilst I waited and the staff were all so lovely. I will definitely be returning again soon

Had food last night from this place and got 1 cod and chips that could feed me and my partner! Woww.. The fish was lovely and crispy and not soggy like other places I have tried! The girls at the front were so welcoming and friendly.. Definitely worth the wait. 100% recommended

Really disappointed this evening with the poor quality of fish & chips. The fish was very dry and smothered in very thick batter. The chips greasy. This is not something we have experienced before from this takeaway which in the past has always delivered exceptional food. I only hope this is a one off and such complaints are noted and used to restore the quality of food we had come to expect from previous visits.

I've managed to get my first order from the Bradley Stoke British Takeaway today. Their chips are amazing, such good quality potatoes and you can tell they're natural potatoes and not the frozen one you can find at most places. Fish is tasty and HUGE. Unless you're trying to feed the entire family try to stick to the small portions (which are too much for one person anyway). Something I don't like it's their schedule. On the week days they're closed between 3 and 5.30 I think and I find that so odd.

I always look forward to eating from here, Bradley Stoke British Takeaway is absolutely gorgeous! The fish and chips are always cooked to perfection holding in amazing flavour and textures. Its never greasy and the batter is always golden crisp, everything is fresh, Portions are quite big so its great for the price! Staff are very friendly and professional, even with big queues they work through it quite quickly with a smile on their faces and it is well worth the wait! Being such a popular takeaway they have added just eat and the food still comes just as fresh when ordered through the just eat service. I have recommended this takeaway to plenty of people and they have all become regular visitors like myself.

Revised review , I left a negative review for great British takeaway after poor service from just eat as the food didn’t arrive . This was not the fish shops fault so I’ve changed it . We tried again tonight and it was very good ( we’ve always had good food from them) . Food great and we ordered via just eat again and it was fine .

A pleasant fish and chip shop offering an extensive selection at competitive prices. Portions are generous and generally good quality. The shop can get very busy at peak times which can slow down service. Free parking on site. Well worth a visit.

Go here regularly and never had any complaints. Portions are huge which means in actual fact it's quite cheap, especially if feeding more than one, as one portion of chips will feed three easily. Same with large cod. All in all good friendly service and nice food.
