Reviews of COSMO All You Can Eat World Buffet Restaurant | Bristol
李.
Some are very tasty, some are not. I enjoyed the wide range of food. Most Asian cuisines taste good. I would come back again to focus on the tasty ones I found. Staffs are very friendly. Overall, I’m very happy for my visit.
J. C.
Great place to eat! They were missing a few things from last time... choco mini eggs that i love, white choco fountain.
Staff were polite, attentive, wasnt very busy which was nice. Some foods weren't too good, felt like it was missing something but did taste ok. Great for families but recommend booking in advance for groups for 4+
L.
First time at the Cosmo Bristol - it didn't disappoint!
The service was 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
The variety of food was 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
The food was 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
The staff were so welcoming and friendly - Courtney was our waitress, very attentive and very helpful in questions we had.
I wanted to try Cosmo due to always going ZaZaBazar whenever I go to Bristol and I must say this will be a new stop instead of ZaZaBazar.
Looking forward to coming back. 🌟

A huge buffet restaurant with lots of tables for customers. However, not too sure if there are actually over 150 dishes offered at the buffet as advertised on their website. Disappointed with the sushi selection as it only had tamago, inari, tuna and another similar to a california roll. I was really looking forward to seeing at least one type of raw fish sushi (the usual salmon) being served for the price we pay.
A buffet restaurant that I last dined at in York served a wider range of sushi, both cooked and raw at a cheaper price.
Very friendly and proactive staff. They collected empty plates really quickly. Also, a good variety of desserts. You can taste the alcohol soaked (biscuit?) in the based of the tiramisu slice.
Overall COSMO is alright, I will return but its not my top buffet restaurant.
J. J.
Great variety of food and drinks on offer for a reasonable price, friendly and polite staff which always makes an experience even better. Pick with you want from the buffet and enjoy. Will eat here again in the future.
D. B.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great, diverse food. Prawns and calamari from grill are yummy. Not too busy. Just loved it.
J. S.
Varieties of food are available at cosmo at a cheaper price. The service staff is very polite. This is the second time I came to Cosmo and I will come in the future too. Highly recommended.

Visited Bristol and passed by Cosmo. This restaurant did not disappoint us. Lovely food, nice and friendly staff. Not like in other Cosmo. In here, you will be seated first then after eating, that’s the time you will pay. Staff here can work well even under pressure. Kudos to this Branch.
M. H.
Plenty of Indian, Chinese, English and seafood options. Well decorated and great customer service. Highly recommend..

We had a lovely Meal last night, for my friends birthday.
We were a Big group of three tables, & it was the first time I'd visited a Cosmo, the food was delicious & extremely varied
The place very busy as I'm sure other people were already wiser than me of the quality
I was especially pleased with how the staff remained calm in the business &
notably a young lady with glasses who seemed unfazed by jumping into the difficult of collecting finished utensils & consumables, unfortunately I didn't get her name
I'd best describe her as not the tallest, quietly confident, calm under pressure, glasses, very polite, with a gentle nature, we were the large group dining at 430, so if your able to distinguish her, you can let her know of her recognition
I will be sure to return thanks to her & the great food

What with one thing and another, it's been about 3 years since I had last been to Cosmo. They've made a few layout and process tweaks as a result of Covid which all generally make sense but the food is still endless and tasty. I'm absolutely stuffed...
C. G. M. (.
Nice to go out with many friends & family.
There is lots of food to choose from.
Don’t expect great quality food but is still good enough for once in a while.
P. L. (.
Very friendly staff, reasonable price and plenty of variety of food to choose from. The only negatives, was that our pre booked table for 5 was quite cramped, my wife felt her cocktail was quite watery with not much flavour. But we will certainly return in due course.
K. P.
A nice, modern space with a variety of food options. At times though, can be quite crowded and tight, while there is a lot of space for seating. The space should be equalised and made more spacious in the buffet section. Overall however, it is a decent restaurant and you won't be massively disappointed!
J. W.
Cosmo is back open, and tastes as good as always. Slightly reduced menu, but updated furniture, feels very safe with less customers in and still live cooking and great choice. Customer service from front desk to service staff is outstanding.
W. L.
Asian food tastes good with sufficient varieties. The lamb pieces taste good just a little too salty. Choice of Tepanyaki is limited to king prawns and calamari but the king prawns are in a big portion which tastes good but just too salty. Sushi tastes good too with soft rice but the choice is very limited. A little disappointed to find that there are no steamed dim sums except peking duck pancakes. The desserts are a disaster. The coffee tastes sour in Tiramisu while the cake base of the chocolate mousse is too hard. I tried most of the desserts (1 inch size shared by four of us as we do not want to eat them all)and could not find even one that tastes good. The own branded ice cream is just like a mousse sitting in a small foam cup. Service is good with nice environment. I will go again if the quality of the desserts are improved and dim sum are added.
M. P.
The restaurant is laid out really well, both seating and positioning of the buffet, with a one way system around the food. So much choice of food under one roof - chinese, indian and sushi. There's also italian, carvery and lots of desserts to choose from as well. Even sweets if youre in need of a sugar rush. The Choices of drinks are good as well, i went for a bottomless glass (infinite refills of 6 different drinks if i remember correctly).
The staff were excellent and very helpful throughout the meal. Would deffinetely recommend and will visit again soon.
Booking is advised as it does get rather busy and there is lots of parking close by.
R.
Mmmmm! Great food, went a while ago, but I can still remember how good it was! Would recommend to a friend, dice they have a wide range of food!
M. D.
Variety of food at a reasonable price.
Food is very cosmopolite - there's Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Singaporean, Indian, Filipino (Beef Kaldereta!), and Western.
Tomyum soup is super good and a must try.
Flavor is good, though slightly toned down from the authentic ones. Some items stay in the warmer a bit longer, and the texture might have had drifted.
Dessert section can still be improved.
Generally, service is good. People are courteous, warm and approachable (from the reception, to the waitresses, and even the teppanyaki guy). During peak days, it is advisable to make a reservation, as the restaurant can become packed easily by throngs of families (mostly Brits who love the Asian flavor, and East Asians).
People from the bar can use more courtesy and warmth when talking to customers. They tend to overlook this when they're busy.
GBP 18 per person, 1.5 hours inside. Drinks separately priced.
C. G.
Best place to eat..... All the food was very tasty....very nice and pro staff....I will definitely recommend it
D. M.
Great Buffett restaurant the food is always good and permanently topped up. Pleasant staff and the managers are always well organised for such a busy place. Good variety of food to please all.
S. N.
The food is always nice as there is variety, however as a Muslim, pork dishes should have a separate aisle not to be mixed with other dishes
M. M.
Well looked after by waitresses and waiters, food was delicious and lots of variety value for money and my group would all go again
y. y.
Good quality for 7.2/per using student card, and child only cost 2! Even taste different dish a bit, I am very full! Love curry and most of the Chinese dish. Dessert is also good than I expected.
A. H.
Incredible time. They were very considerate and the variety of food is amazing! Definitely more high end eating but for the selection and buffet style, it is totally worth an occasional visit 😋
B. F.
Nice food but could have been better selection. Staff wetr very friendly
A. S.
Great for a family meal. We enjoyed the variety of food on offer. Plenty of drinks. Kids enjoyed it, as did my older parents.
L. B.
Friendly helpful staff. Lovely food. Very accommodating of the 10 week old baby who was with us. Cheap parking at NCP 2 minutes walk away
M. N. (.
Anyone wondering if its Halal, they have a halal menu. You just have to ask them. This is the menu I got on Jul 29. Chicken items in the Indian/Chinese section were Halal. There were king prawn, fish starters and a range of desserts. Chocolate fountain wasn't working.
The quality of desserts and Ice creams can be improved.
C. L.
This branch not as bad as I was expecting. Friendly and quick waitresses/ waiters! The european sounding gent at front desk was excellent! As for food. Its okay for a buffet. Avoid the vegan strawberry 'Franks' ice cream. Tasted powderry and articficial to the max. I still think JRC global is a bit better for food.

Cosmo Bristol Cliffton
Piles of dishes were dirty back and front. Either with dry food and sauce at the back. Food tasty, pls wash your dishes and supervise the washers. SAUCE OR OIL LEAKING ON FLOOR, THIS IS A HEALTH HAZARD ALTHOUGH THE CLEANER WAS CLEANING SLOWLY AWAY FROM THE LEAK. Thank you.
However Felicia the waiter is so excellent, she goes her way all out to make sure customers have had a great experience.

ALL YOU CAN EAT WORLD BUFFET RESTAURANT IN BRISTOL
With over 150 dishes from around the world on our all you can eat buffet menu, you’ll be spoilt for choice at COSMO Bristol. You can enjoy unlimited courses for one set price at lunch or dinner time.
A. K.
The restaurant was chosen for our grand finale of bowling and enjoying some nice quiet drinks and whilst i have not been there myself I have heard some good things about it and the reviews have also been very good on the whole.
You are greeted by the front desk and even if you come early they are friendly and will find you a seat quickly and quietly. The service is good and the concept is easy and works. You have a great selection of different foods and you can enjoy a great selection of Chinese, Italian, Indian and even a roast dinner if you fancy it.
You have 2 hours during which time you can go and gorge yourself on some delicious food which is prepared freshly and then kept warm in a hot water system. You have starters, you have main course and you have a gorgeous desert option. There truly is something for everyone here so you are bound to find something that you will want to eat.
P. h.
Really good food very good service would come highly recommended good value for money.
P. C.
Very much enjoyed the food which was better quality that other buffet places on offer. A good range, heavy on oriental cuisine but there was a lot to choose from. Deserts were very good, not too sugary and had really good flavour.
Went in a party of 9, only loses a star because the 9th chair was on the end of the tables, partially blocking the aisle, and had the share a single table between 3 people. Not a lot of room to eat and I felt like I was in the way during our visit.
R. J. P.
Great selection from all over the world. They have Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Southeast Asian, Italian, western, seafood, and many many more. And the taste are good also. Lovely dessert. All you can eat for such a very reasonable price. Very much recommended if you are hungry and ready to eat all out 😊
A. C.
Cant go wrong... well u can ...u eat too much..because it all looks amazing and smells it.. everyone is really helpful and friendly ... something for everyone...xx
L. M.
Excellent customer service from the front desk staff and the bar staff and waiters.
Brilliant selection of food, hot and fresh. Topped up promptly. Very good prices

Good place to buffet. It had a good ambience compared to zaza bazaar but the food variety is less comparitvely. Lovely hosts n you have teppanyaki which is not in most of the restaurants that I have been.
You can try once
I loved the deserts n roasted duck n mocktail
Please find the list of menus available here
Asian dishes
China’s cuisine can be broken up into roughly eight regions: Cantonese, Sichuan, Anhui, Shandong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Hunan, Zhejiang. Tour the Asian continent with our hand-picked tasters of the region’s most authentic dishes, enjoy Mongolian stir-fried lamb or make up your own crispy duck rolls by assembling freshly roasted duck, spring onion, cucumber and plum sauce.
Teppanyaki dishes
The word teppanyaki is derived from the Japanese words teppan (which means iron plate) and yaki (which means grilled, broiled, or pan-fried). Choose from fresh salmon, scallops, steak, or juicy tiger prawns and watch as COSMO’s talented chefs cook it in front of you on an iron griddle to lock in the flavour.
Indian spicy dishes
Spice it up with a choice of South-East Asian favourites, from authentic Kashmiri lamb and crispy pakora to creamy chicken tikka masala drizzled with yogurt and an aromatic saag aloo. Mop up the delicious sauces with fluffy naan and load your plate up with a selection of pickles and chutneys. COSMO’s talented chefs lay on a full Indian banquet, with dishes prepared in small batches that are constantly replenished.
Continental dishes
The modern pizza was invented in Naples and was sold from open-air stands, before being introduced to the world by Italian immigrants. With favourites like spaghetti and meatballs and a huge range of vegetarian options, there’s something for everyone. Don’t leave without trying COSMO’s authentic pizzas either, which are expertly cooked in wood-fired ovens
Tasting dishes
The great thing about small plates is that you get to try a little bit of everything without getting too full. Our tasting kitchen is a tour de force of the world’s most popular dishes, from mini burgers and chilli con carne to small portions of Greek moussaka and a comforting shepherd’s pie. Why not pick a few to share or choose one as a starter?
Carvery dishes
There are few things in life more comforting and British than a full roast dinner. Choose between expertly roasted turkey, lamb or beef with lashings of gravy, a choice of vegetables, fluffy Yorkshire puddings and the crowning glory of any roast dinner: roast potatoes. Not just for Sunday, COSMO’s roast dinner is fast becoming a week-long institution.
Deli dishes
The deli as we know it was born in Germany in 1700s, before spreading to America. The word delicatessen originates from the Latin delicatus, meaning “delightful, pleasing”. From slivers of charcuterie and fresh salads to juicy olives and an assortment of cheeses, stop by our deli counter to enjoy a taste of the Med
Deserts
Every year, 14 October marks National Dessert Day. But we wouldn’t suggest limiting indulging in dessert to just one day of the year, of course. From strawberry cheesecake to traditional Italian tiramisu, COSMO’s patisserie chefs whip up a tempting array of homemade, bite-sized cakes so you can have a taste of everything. With sweets aplenty, fresh fruit, a gelato counter and a chocolate fountain for you to dip marshmallows into, the sweet-toothed will be spoiled for choice.
Drinks
From classic cocktails and a host of spirits to a carefully chosen selection of wine, beer and ale, our drinks menu is varied – and global. Enjoy a tipple with your meal or quench your thirst with free refills of your favourite soft drinks. To cap things off nicely, there's freshly brewed tea, coffee or indulgent hot chocolate.
K. G.
Our server Courtney was very helpful and sweet, food is what you expect from an all you can eat. However my drinks tasyed like they were out of a can ( two of the house cocktails)
E. S.
It's a really lovely place to be lovely people and the food is delicious I would recommend anyone to go there
l.
This is really a fantastic place for gathering. Hot food is good, but cold dishes need to add more variety.
L. X.
Very friendly staff and great selections of food. 5 star experience.
S. P.
It was ok. Food wasn't to bad but I have been to better all you can eat restaurants in Bristol. Seemed a little expensive to for a Monday evening.
c. h.
Amazing all you can eat with kid friendly food refill pop, can’t fault the price, great selection of food and the eton mess cake is amazing, staff are very friendly and it’s clean this is our new once a month treat
R. T.
Great selection of food although not always very hot. Staff are friendly but very stretched.
e. B.
good food, , came around 7;30 on a sat which was quite busy and service was still good!! would definitely recommend
J. S.
Ok for an all you can eat wasn't struck with the quality of food on offer very busy at the time as well with large groups which didn't help as they was empty sections of food at a time. Staff kept flying around too clearing plates from tables.
D. L.
This is the best place to eat with family ,a big variety of food for everyone
S. B.
Food was amazing absolutely love their brisket and sautied chicken and at £16.99 for all you can eat is a steal.
R. v. i.
Sushi very bad. Rest of food pretty good for an all you can eat. Service attentive
S. H.
Came here for my fathers 60th birthday meal. We accidentally booked a table too small however the staff were very quick and helpful and added a table. We brought in a cake which they added a firework candle too for affect.. without asking!! The food was beautiful, hot and constantly fresh. Waiters and waitresses were helpful and quick. Staff all joined in to get everyone singing happy birthday. What an incredible restaurant!
N. S.
Wow brilliant different types of food and different types of pudding very good I will recommend that to anyone

G. L.
First off the staff are superb, we had a lovely welcome and the staff were attentive and there is some there cleaning any spillages straight away. All staff are smart and professional. The chefs are very good I just loved the seafood Tom Yum soup, absolutely delicious also loved the bbq pork belly. To be fair it was all good. We had a great time so thank you all so much.
A. L.
Very friendly restaurant. Large selection of.food and a decent price.
As an all-you-can-eat buffet, you don’t expect gourmet, but the quality was better than expected.
The availability of freshly cooked food, including sirloin steak, prawns and Squid was a welcome option.
The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive, used plates were not left to gather at all.
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, with plenty of choice.
L. D. D.
food was amazing, loved it, will definitely be going back.
A. M.
Its 95 percent buffet food so not the best quality. However the staff are friendly and helpful and the selection of Chinese food is quite wide. There's a small station where the chef will cook Steak or fish to your taste on front of you which I love. Nice place to celebrate a family birthday or something. I've been coming here for years.
R. H.
Good all you can eat food. Lots of options and good price
K. K.
Great selection of world food, friendly service, clean restaurant and great facilities. Perfect celebration family meal with kids. Starters, mains, and desserts so much choice and something for everyone. Good choice of drinks too. Looking forward to visiting again. My young kids thought it was "cosmic". My baby girl enjoyed it too. Thanks for the lovely meal.
S. T.
Lively place. Relaxed atmosphere. Food much as you'd expect from an 'all you can eat' but certainly not disappointing. Being vegan I was pleasantly surprised at the choices available. Good fun and good value for money
t. d.
Reasonable price, friendly staff with very good food. However, it would be great if the restaurant could introduce some new food instead of keeping everything the same in every time I came.
J. E.
Walked in without a reservation and didn't wait long. Food was delicious and staff friendly.
S. M.
Good selection of food and reasonably priced. Only thing is trying to order drinks isn't clear as was told to go to the bar then back to servers.
J. M. N. N.
Absolutely fantastic place to go for Lunch/Dinner with many choices of food and very helpful staff
S. K.
Loved this world buffet, so many varieties ,specially sea foods and lots of different desserts that your kids will enjoy much , very attentative staffs and reception people were very nice. Its a must go place.
N. .. G. P.
Would have given a 4 but I felt in the choices were not as good as when I last one there and before covid hit don't know if this is due to that but felt the choices were not as wide before but the food was still good
R. M.
Buffet diner with wide selection from round the world (Indian, Chinese, Italian etc.) Not the best tasting food.
A. M.

A. M. R.
If I give stars to individual items, 50% will get 5 stars, 20% will get 4 stars and rest 3 stars. But the overall variation, interior, behaviour of the staff, they were amazing. Will come again. Halal food also. Gave 10% NHS discount too when I showed my ID.
j. h.
Was okay, had a good variety of food and was regularly changed and put out
s. r.
First try is fine, second time we can't eat. It's ok . We can't enjoy those who foodie.i am sure about it.
M. T.
This place is great and I cannot wait to come back even if I am 2h away.
The food is tasty and I really recommend the beef and the grilled chicken.
Toilets are so clean(very important for me).
There are all sorts of dishes so if you don't like something you still have a lot of other options.
I really recommend them, thanks me later.
J. B.
Lovely restaurant Manager is a top man no issues he’s a lovely man and will do what he can for you.
No issues with Cosmos.
f. b.
Absolutely dynamite! The food and the customer service is off the hook with varieties of dishes to choose from and a very hygienic enviroment too.
O. P.
I highly appreciated this place. Delicious, wonderful food!!!
M. L.
This super popular restaurant is right near a bus stop, Perfectly located!! It had wide variety of options in the dishes offered to the customers. The starters items are more than the main course options which allows us to try more variety of options in the buffet spread. Went here on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was already full with customers which talks about the popularity of this restaurant among the locals. Loved all the dishes which were cooked with perfect flavours. The beverages are charged seperately and not included in the buffet prices but are charged at reasonable rates which is fair enough. The desserts here were the highlight of the meal for me, especially the chocolate fountain and the mousse cake pastries. Sushi & tandoor items do have a big scope for improvement. The staff is polite and prompt in their service. It is advisable to make prior bookings before coming at the restaurant.
R. M.

We love going to Cosmo. This time it was a birthday celebration which we booked late.Hiwever, the manager was really kind and offered us a good deal. There were hand sanitizers all around the restaurant which I found helpful and staff had their masks on. We enjoyed ourselves without worrying too much about safety.
M. A.
Great food, wonderful service, keep getting back everytime I can!
S. V.
Highly recommended if you enjoy buffet food with different variety world foods. Can be expensive but it is worth it.
D. G.
We visited Cosmo in Bristol for the first time during a short holiday. We went on Tuesday evening 14th September and enjoyed it that much we visited again on the Friday evening before we left Bristol. The staff were very helpful and the quality and selection of food is excellent! Will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended!

Came for the food, stayed for the altercations. Dinner and a show for the low, low price of £22.
D.
Very nice food. There is a huge variety of what to choose from, and also very nice and friendly staff, (Jorge in particular). There is an option for everyone and always food in every section!! Overall 9/10!
J. R.
Brilliant quality of food, just enough choices without it being overwhelming. Prosecco and the Pinot Grigio blush were both lovely. Nice relaxed atmosphere, even with a full restaurant, couldn't fault the service, smiley and attentive! 😍
L. E. O. N. B.
Wide variety of foods and waitresses were very helpful
P. S.
I use Cosmo because of the food being labelled with allergens as I am gluten intollerant, only 4 stars because the yummy fried stuff all had gluten in
a. P.
Food is good for a buffet and staff friendly. currently (july2021) masks and gloves must be warn when getting food ,but this is understandable. it seemed a little short staffed and was hard to get attention to order drinks .probably why they want you to ware masks . Good price as well .
G. G.
It's absolutely worth waiting for the freshly fried squid and shrimps.
C. S.
Food was okay for a buffet and good range of different foods!
C.
The best.Very good food.Buffet all inclusive 14,99.Friendly staff.

Great variety of Oriental sea food. Loved the king prawns
A. B.
The service was outstanding as soon as we arrived was shown to table and the waiter was there to take orders for drinks ,explained how the set up works ,the table was cleaned quickly from empty plates the food was 5 stars will go there again, didn't eat for 2 days after, eat as much as u want from different countries.
R. A.
Lot to choose from all fresh could find a single thing bad there will be definitely coming back
W. B.
Gone downhill a bit recently but I think they have been struggling for staff and supplies, so seem currently to be offering a smaller range. I would give it four stars but I'm vegetarian and they don't have a great deal for me. Add one if you eat meat.
F. S. O.
Good service, plates cleared quickly, friendly staff. Just wish there was more room to be able to exit the restaurant and to get food. But overall a good experience would go back again.
P. A.
Nice variety of food... incredible place and very clean
j.

Food was awesome and staff were absolutely amazing, especially Jeorge who made sure everything was to our satisfaction and went over and above with any request made. Highly recommended 5*
A. M.
Some of the food was cold and no option to customise certain dishes. Service was good though.
T. M.
Excellent dining experience,
Varied choice selections
Friendly and attentive staff
Well recommended
A. J.
Good buffet, they have an array of cuisines however quality isnt superb, its decent. They have made sure to keep things safe because of Covid, masks, gloves and no drink dispensers. Interior is nice.
C. C.
Food was great, waiting staff were absolutely brilliant and attentive. The host was very attentive to our seating needs and felt safe dining. Thank you very much.
m. e.
Great variety of food with great service.
A. D.
It's good food is lovely, the front of house gentleman runs you to your table way ahead of you, and every single time we're always shoved in the darker corner restaurant out the back even when the tiered seating is empty
m. w.
Even with Covid this was a pleasurable experience. Loved it. Desserts were a little limited. 5 star.
B. P.
Best oriental restaurant ever been. It was my first time and I recommend to all. It’s definitely a 5 star restaurant.

Handled the stream of diners really well. Food was really good

Very vast selection of seafood and they have for sure , upped their game. Not overly busy as it was a week day and staffs are also nicer than before. Good effort to have brought good changes.
M. H.
I visit this place a lot since I work nearby. I love how their customer service is always awesome and they keep the place neat regularly. Pricing is fair and they serve generous portions.
S. H.
Absolutely fantastic, lovely experience, very thoughtful staff members, must of really though out how to keep everyone happy and safe and with covid about, the ques flowed well,
It was a lovely experience and enjoyed my meal extremely, im not a big eatter and would of loved more, it was very satisfying, thank you for lovely evening
R. D.
Amazing asiat food and really kindness people's . Definitely have to try one time eat there.
L. K.
Food is delicious but the one way system is difficult to navigate.
c. b.
Delicious.....I couldn't stop going back to get more....it was some of the best food I've ever tasted!!!😍😍
Wish I lived nearer but will def go back next time I'm down in bristol.x
r. h.
Love this place well worth the journey ❤️
S. J.
Always good food a most enjoyable evening can't wait for my next visit, the staff were very friendly and helpful
S. C.
A friend at my agency suggested it and I invited my friends we had a lovely evening. And they had some suitable strategies for using PPE for covid safety when getting food which was reassuring for us all.
V. A.
Great selection of food. I loved the pancakes which I had with pulled pork and satay sauce. A brilliant place to introduce children to be flavours and have the security of familiar food for them if less adventurous. A bargain for kids too if go on Monday - £1 charity donation price!
G. p.
We visited on a busy Friday night for my son's birthday in a party of 10. The food was excellent. The boys tucked into fresh steak, prawns and scallops and experimented with mussels. The service by the staff was attentive and friendly. Max is doing a great job running the place.
T. B.
Reasonable price and clean.
Near by Bristol museum
N.
I came here with a party of 10 and was warmly greeted by Max and shown to our quieter table above the reception. The food was kept topped up, tasted amazing and offered great variety. All waiters who served us were prompt and friendly. I appreciated having a halal menu to see what I could and could not eat. They also offer a 10% NHS discount (for the cardholder) Sundays to Fridays. Thank you!
G.
A lovely place to come for a meal with friends and family. There are plenty of different foods to choose from. I've been a few times and each time I have enjoyed the food. The staff are speedy and welcoming. The greeter is friendly and takes his time to make you feel comfortable. Food is good quality and the desserts are amazing! They even have sugar free ice cream, which is very good.
S. B.
Very good food .. and the steak was so night ... she was very nice with us the chef . A big well done from malta .
N. Y.
Have visited this place many times and always enjoyed it.
The only reason I'm giving 4, not 5 stars, is that they recently refurbished and slightly reduced the quality and variety of the buffet in order to fit more seats in.
This is only a very small negative, as the quality is still pretty high, and value for money and selection of different food is still fantastic!!
The danger of this place is trying to walk or sleep after eating way too much!!
It's all you can eat and it's all so yummy, so self control can be tricky :)
C. M.
Good food for a buffet, decent value, especially if you're a student. Staff were understanding when not all of us bought student ID.
S. C.
You know what your getting a lot of variety with something for everyone.
N. s.
All you can eat buffet. Went twice during my visit.
T. S.
Great food, amazing service, allergens really clearly displayed for EVERYTHING and there wasn't one thing I didn't enjoy!
A. P.
Busy even on a weekday, that's how good it is... Nice location, great staff and a cozy setting
D. C.
Expect not the best food for an unlimited buffet. Place is clean and nice but the food is a bit rough around the edges. Won't go again.
B. R. H.
It was my birthday celebration, party of 6, in very busy Saturday evening. Thankfully we had table booked in advance and been seated immediately. Waiting staff was efficient, brought us drink orders quickly and regularly checked on our table, cleaned used plates, bringing additional drink orders. Food was freshly prepared, tasteful. Only downside was tables close together that I was afraid that content of my plate will end up on somebody's head. Otherwise very nice evening
C. M.
The environment is nice, warm clean and the staff helpful, attentive and friendly. It's a good place to come with large groups or just a few of you and it's centrally located so easy to get to.
However the food is not the best and a little disappointing. The benefit of it being an 'all you can eat' is that when 65% of what you're eating isn't very nice, you don't have to finish it and you can get something else until you find something that's better. The downside of this technique is that it's such an awful waste of food.
K. D.
Lovely food as always. Good service and vastly superior to it's nearest rival.
E. C.
First time I've ever been and I would definitely go again! The staff couldn't be more helpful, we had a big party of us and the food was lovely except the puddings. They were all sickly sweet as many of our group said.
Such a great range of each food cuisine, there's nothing more you could want there! 😂
D. P.
Really enjoyed. Very nice and tasty food.
G. S.
Amazing place amazing food!!!
Á. K.
Customer service is exceptional as always performed by very friendly team. Thank you very much for making this dining experience a good one. The food is delicious every time
I am looking forward to go there again
C. Z.
We absolutely enjoyed our experience. The lunch menu is different from dinner one, which you can tell by the price difference. Both are fresh and delicous. Seafood section only opens for dinner time, and is filled with delicious authentic seafood. Some dishes, of course, cannot be compared with those you can find in a proper restaurant, but they are way better than any buffet we've been to before in the UK. Highly recommend!
L. W.
The variety of food was great, and the restaurant was wonderful. The staff were friendly and quick. Food was delicious and warm-hot.
The only thing that was a let down, was that kids were sticking their hands in to the desserts and grabbing things by the handful instead of using the tongs. No parental guidance and no staff to keep an eye on it.
M. C.
My favourite place to eat in Bristol. This is an all you can eat buffet style with a difference. The difference being it is fresh, it is nice and it is clean.
Great for families, gathering of friends or a query meal for two. Helped by the choices of food as you have the option of Chinese, Indian, Italian and even English roast. They will also cook steak to be order in front of you.
Good is great I've been coming here for years. Great choice of desserts as well.
Restroom facilities everyone and the building has good access for wheelchairs.
If you're in Bristol and you are hungry out even fancy a snack, give it a go.
K. F.
Was on the conference in Bristol recently and found this place as closest to the hotel I stayed in.
Absolutely can highly recommend! I went there twice - lunch and dinner in two different days and everytinne the food was delicious, fresh. Indian food section -> best curry I have ever eaten! There is a nice selection of seafood and desserts. Plus the staff is very professional and with good attitude towards customers.
S. C.
Brilliant atmosphere and fantastic food.
D. M.
Good food
good selection of food had a great night would recommend
P. V.
It is what it is. Gourmet cuisine, it is not. Great value for money, as long as you arrive hungry. I've certainly paid a lot more for a lot worse. There are a few real diamonds in the rough. Pay special attention to the tandoori chicken near the door, and the crispy pork belly.
C. J.
This is my sons favourite place to eat. As it was his birthday we went as a family to celebrate. The food is great a huge variety and something for everyone. You can eat as much as you like and they do bottemless soft drinks. We have been here many times and will continue to go back.
B. L.
Nothing to complain about here. Really tasty, quality food with a huge selection of dishes. You can also order prawns, scallops and steak cooked in front of you to perfection. Eat as much as you like but there is a time limit for seating, I think an hour or so which is plenty of time and it never feels rushed. It's always busy so best to book.
G. E.
We were on a girls night out on a Friday night. At the door we were greeted by a really friendly and funny man, who accompanied us to the waiting room as one of us was late. Then we were guided to our table. They had a good variety of food , deserts and drinks. The place Seems to be clean and friendly and approachable staff team. I will definitely return. They have really good price as well.
C. F.
The food was reasonably hot, the Indian was good, lots of different sweets and cakes to try however some were still frozen in the middle and one cheese cake was hot like someone had tried to defrost it in a microwave. Not really my choice of venue.
It was like sitting in a large dining room. Toilets were not very clean
E. G.
It was quite nice, we went for lunch. Quite packed and we ate as much as we wished. Although walking up to the buffet several times with stares from the employees can be a little daunting. The chocolate fountain was quite disappointing, just a pool of chocolate and some of the food we could tell was a little stale. But overall tasty. What was a little strange was the drink refill machine that stopped halfway and starting filling my glass with sparkling water. Very suspicious, the unlimited refills are definitely not worth it. Stick to water. Although I would say price is worth what you get.
C. S.
It has just een refurbished and looks very friendly, bright and spacious compared to before. Staff is friendly. Would've thought the toilets are included int6the refurbishment. I dont get the impression. 4 toilets are not enough for over 100 customers at any one/peak time. Door lock broken, surely this should be checked inbetween opening times. Food quality is lovely. The variety could be better. Too many repetitions in dishes on the buffet. All small things that are easily improved to receive the 5th star. Despite the little flaws I'll be back.
N. Q. G.
Place has had a revamp. Looks impressive. However, some tables are low lit so feels a little dark.
A. H.
Good quality , pretty wide selection of Asian, Indian, sushi, British, desserts
Y. S.
I've been a couples of times I can't even keep counts. Very good food and very diligent employees.
S. C.
Cosmo is a great place come and eat when you've decided you want cuisine flavoured experiences from the far east of the world but have not decided on what dish or you want to select many.
Food is well cooked and there is many varieties to try.
Does get busy, and there are plenty of tables to accommodate everyone that turns up.
Dessert menu is ok, ranging from fruits to cheesecake to sweets.
A central location is good as well
S.
Love this place. Great value, amazing service and hot, fresh, delicious food. Unlimited desserts and drinks. The atmosphere is really nice and it's not too cramped even when busy. My boyfriend enjoyed the steak grill. If I could go every week I would
M. M.
Food taste good and the restaurant is clean. Inspite the pandemic they still offer buffet but you have to wear mask, gloves and 2 meter distancing please. The only down side is the ladies toilet....is not clean😪.
M. d. B.
Fabulous, well run, delicious food, excellent Covid measures and great staff. Add that to good company and you have the perfect evening.
v. s.
Really great selection of food, all cooked really well also. Usually with buffet food, the quality of the food suffers for the quantity, but I haven’t found this here! Great flavours, and everything is well-stocked. The staff are friendly and welcoming. A little pricey on drinks, but I’d say worth it for the food, definitely.
J. C.
Excellent range of choice! Great value in comparison for others in the city. Some food a bit stodgy, most more than acceptable. Some are delicious.
Children love it. The atmosphere is lively and the staff are nice to the kids.
Would love to see south American and Mexican food!
K. E.
Not as much variety and selection as cosmo Wolverhampton
D. D.
Eat as much as you want & all you like for the price of £8 for lunch. Reasonable price. There's a huge selection of vegetables dishes but very limited on meat selections. Japanese dishes & Live cooking stations were closed for lunch. It's better than McDonald's if you prefer big lunch with various selections. Food quality & dish selections are so so compare to before. £15 for all you can eat dinner will be included additional eight live cooking stations & more dish selections.
E. K.
Great manager welcoming people amd solving issues and amazing staff ! Delicious food!
C. B.
Fantastic food. My only advice, go early...food is fresher
M. J.
Recently refurbished, has a nice feel and atmosphere to the place. Some of the food was nice, like the sushi. The rest of the food I had - curries etc was average at best. Meat was lost in the sauce and very tough.
J. H.
Great place. Very well cooked food. Staff were on standby to cook fresh food for you. Can be busy at times but worth the relatively cheep price per person. Would go again
S.
If you are looking for a fairly good priced place to eat with family or friends this place is awesome. There is a bunch of things to eat from the buffet. Refill drinks and dessert aswell. Excellent i rate it 5 stars!!
V. G.
Was a lovely experience! Good food and excellent staff. Was a wonderful evening 😊
M. C.
Cracking load of grub ar a good price. We had a large group and were well looked after. A great range of cuisines and for a large eat all you can bugget the standard of cooking was very good. Great way to eat out as a big party as plenty of choice for all.
K. R.
Lovely selection of food, attentive staff, very clean and well laid out. Plenty of room around seating areas unlike other buffets. Could do with pasta dishes cooked to order but can't fault otherwise.
S. M.
First visit to this restaurant. Variety in food was very nice. Some food more nicer then others. Staff were friendly. Would recommended this place to friends and family. It's £15.99 pp for adults. Not sure on kids.
I. P.
Good for its price. You get what you'd expect from an all you can eat buffet for the price of around £10. Service is always on point though and the Host (I forget his name) is always super formal and welcoming with a smile.
T. C.
Went for my man 30th lovely food fast and friendly service.
D. D.
Clean restaurant with good customer services. Plenty of foods for a reasonable single price with student discount.
W. C.
Lovely buffet restaurant with great service and the manager being very accommodating and understanding. I attended here for the first time for a friend's birthday and we were all going here for the first time, which unfortunately lead to some arriving 30 minutes to 1 hour late. However, despite tables being rotated on a 2 hour basis and being really busy on the day, the manager allowed us to stay as long as he could let us, until the next group to sit at our table arrived.
M. C.
Our 4th visit to Cosmo in the last few months and regret to say the last 2 visits did not match the positive experience of the first 2. My favourite, duck with pancakes extremely disappointing. This was not shredded duck but almost powdery minced left overs that did not taste good. Very limited dessert selection today too. Come on Cosmo, food not as good but price hasn't changed I notice. Will possibly give you benefit of doubt and visit once more but not going to recommend at the moment based on last 2 experiences.
G. W.
We chose this venue for a family get together..and I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint.
We were greeted at the door made welcome and seated, the menu was explained to us ie " Eat as much as you want of anything you want" A smiling girl came and introduced herself to us as our helper offering to fetch drinks and her smile didn't waver when we only wanted water for the table. She appeared and removed plates between each delicious helping .
The venue was spotlessly clean and welcoming and deserves the 5 stars I've awarded it.
l.
Me and my fiancé love to go here as a treat. It's a great date location but also great for families as they have so many options. If you're a fan of Asian food, this place is for you.
C. G.
Lovely food from around the world.
I. V.
A nice buffet restaurant! Its best to book your table in advance as it can be busy. Not a place to go if you want to take your time as you are limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes. The food taste great and there is a large range to choose from, although some of the sauces are watery with no real consistency. Limited choice for vegans, better choice for vegetarians great choice for meat eaters. The only real issue is the temperature of the food, it is at best luke warm when you take from the buffet and cold when you eat it. Its expensive but will cost less than a meal in a normal restaurant. The staff could put on a better show at being happy at work, but with that many people passing through the place it must be stressful to work there.
K.
Very friendly lots of variety of food choices. Chinese, Indian tandoori and at the moment there is turkey roast dinner. Plenty of time to taste different dishes in the 1hr 45 mins time slot given to you. Food was delicious.
h. j.
My family and I have just enjoyed the most wonderful evening together at Cosmo Bristol. The staff were so friendly and helpful, suggesting dishes to try and telling us what was in each dish. If your looking for a warm, very clean, comfortably and relaxed atmosphere, with an Excellent choice of freshly cooked food, I would heartily recommend it. Many Thanks 😀
S.
Great food a massive variety already booked my next visit
M. T.
Great food, awesome to take youngsters. Can eat as much food as you can. Pay for a soft drink and you can have as many free refills as you like. Reasonable prices and easy parking along the roads outside. Friendly staff and well run for an eat all you like.
S. G.
The best buffet in all England 👏🏼👏🏼
D. C.
Wide range of tasty food options which cater to all kinds of dietary requirements. Unfortunately the food is oily (probably to fill you up faster) which can be a bit much.
Great to bring groups of people so that everyone can leave satisfied.
T. B.
If you like this sort of thing then you won't be disappointed, the selection of food is very good but as with most buffets the temperature generally is on the cold side.
Also the potatoes and roast parsnips needs to be cooked more, very hard.
B. S.
Okay, this is not a Michelin star restaurant but it a genuinely hearty experience and definitely worth visiting. Always book at the weekends.
M. S.
Rich selection of dishes from the buffet, stylish place, nice atmosphere it was a good experience, thank you stuff
H. K.
Staff - really nice and pleasent. The quality of food very nice but very limited dessert options. No custard or cream with the pie and bananas with custard not sliced up, just halved. Have had better but still nice.
J. N.
Come here quite a lot as my dad loves it! The service is always excellent, the staff are fantastic and go out of their way to help. Much prefer this place to Za Za Bazaar down the road, if you like Chinese / Asian food especially. Very good value for money, and drinks are well priced.
M. S.
As buffet restaurants go Cosmo is really really good. The food is hugely varied and better than any Bristol takeaway place I've found. Outside of truly peak times you can just walk in. Drinks are reasonably priced and sodas come with free refills. Kids are welcome and eat the same food at lower prices. There's even desserts - cakes and jellies and so on.
Most of the dishes are of Indian or Chinese style with some Thai, British and American thrown in and some Japanese.
I usually fill up on starters! The Chicken Tikka is great and the Dim Sum aren't half-bad!!
L. P.
Great position next to comic book store.. Range of food available should suit even the pickiest of eaters (not vegans). Great value for money. I really like that they spread customers throughout the seating and great for family parties or get togethers with friends
M. C.
Most excellent place, plenty of great food
J. L.
Good selction of food and drink, Vegetarians well catered for. All together a much better all you can eat compared to others in the city centre. However, toilets are not that nice, with locks missing, dirty pans ect, dirty floors. And the light bulbs blew not once, not twice but 3 times in the 1.5 hours we were there. But having said that all the staff are all very nice and service is good.
c. z.
Been here quite a lot when I was in bristol, did not disappointed a single time, holds my best memories, I would definitely pay another visit next time in Bristol
A.
Service, atmosphere and decor was amazing however the food was a real let down unfortunately. I had such high hopes but maybe it was a one off...I hope.
L. W.
Lovely selection of foods, various Indian, Chinese, English all good quality and has a nice selection of different puddings, in which you help yourself to what you would like. You have 1 hour and 45 mins in which you can sit down and have your food which is plenty of time.
S. H.
We made a family visit to Cosmo last weekend after it being recommended by a friend... Upon arriving there was some commotion at the main desk as a customer was kicking off and kicked out. NOT A GREAT START. But that was dealt with very professionally by what we can only assume was the Manager (Edwin) and we were seated. The food was amazing, service was efficient and prices very reasonable. Would definitely recommend, great variety of food and drinks. All you want from a buffet. Couldn't fault.
J. P.
Best food and best place to take anyone with you : friends , family , work mates , there s a delight for everyone s taste . Huge choice of delicious buffet foods and deserts
R. K.
Cosmo - is according to those native to Bristol by far the best Buffet in town! The service was good, seated immediately. I was informed before attending to request seating in the front of the restaurant; rather than the lifeless back. This did not happen as we were with a large party. The back of the restaurant however was busy and packed. The food and dessert is definitely on a par with being a Good choice for those in need of a quick, and very filling selection.
C. H.
I arrive at this superb restaurant every couple of days as I like the special atmosphere that is exist in this place. The team is extraordianrillyremarkably welcoming and professional. The service is deeply rapid. Not to mention, the food you eat is outstanding. I have been there more than once and I was never disappointed. The pay is reasobable. I suggest this restaurant to all my friends.
A. K.
Night mare to find parking got there 50mins late then had to wait 1 hour but other than that good food
J. L.
Food is alright wide selection. The sushi and seafood is just perfect. However it is extremely busy and noisy had a headache after 15 minutes of being inside. If you like busy places then that's a place for you. Specifically on Saturday evening
A. T.
Last night we had a really enjoyable time at Cosmos. Excellent choice of food and really well cooked. The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough to make our visit pleasant. The ideal setting for a family reunion! Thankyou.
D. F.
We celebrated my granddaughter's 8th birthday here and the occasion was wonderful.
The choice of food - and the presentation - was exceptional and added to a marvellous family celebration. Also, the staff were very accommodating in every respect, even down to giving my granddaughter some birthday balloons!
Excellent value for money as well.
S. P.
Great restaurant with a huge range of amazing foods. Very fast clearing away service and staff were very helpful and friendly. Great for groups and families as there's something for everything. However it is very crowded around the buffet area, making it difficult to move around with a full plate or drink.
A. C.
First time going there and probably the last. Its an all you can eat place but everytime i went up most of the selections were down to the scraps. The tandori chicken was cold. Drinks prices standard, staff were good, however the toilets both mens and women's were disgusting.
D. L.
Great for the kids, just give them a plate and let them load up!
The great thing about most buffets, is that you can try lots of different food dishes that you might otherwise have to order a whole dish of, only to find out that you don't like it, this is a great way to find new faves without too much wasted food/money. For example, like the sound of mapo tofu (spicy tofu with meat) but not too sure about it?
K. J.
I've been to the Nottingham & Sheffield Cosmo which are both really good so I was disappointed that the Bristol branch doesn't live up the standard of this chain I've experienced before. Poor selection, few vegetarian options, food looking dried under heat lamps. Dessert selection poor. And the service is slower in cleaning tables & less polite. Its OK for the people price but please send your staff up north to the better branches to see how they could improve
l.
I don't often write reviews but I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Going there for lunch was definitely a good decision and I will happily be eating there in the future! Great food, great price and brilliant staff. Thanks guys at Cosmos!
R. B.
Very nice and tasty food...staff is also very friendly...highly recommended
A. B. T.
Totally worth for the money that you are paying.
B. B.
Okay, but no better. Can't say I was impressed with the beef, Chinese or Indian dishes. In no great rush to go back. Atmosphere was okay, no hassles, was not too packed and good for a quiet evening out. Limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes
D. J.
Good rotation of food, good variety of options and seems pretty fresh.. can sometimes be quite salty..
D. B.
Decent buffet compared to zaza and others that I have been to. Its well laid out and a lot of it is well cooked. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and helpful. Decor is smart and well maintained. It's in an affluent area of Bristol.
R. D.
By far the best ‘all you can eat world buffet’. The team are always very friendly. Max, the chap who will generally greet you at the door is so professional. If the owners are reading this, he needs a pay rise because you really don’t want to lose him!!
Á. K.
Customer service is exceptional as always performed by very friendly team. Thank you very much for making this dining experience a good one. The food is delicious every time …
P. V.
It is what it is. Gourmet cuisine, it is not. Great value for money, as long as you arrive hungry. I've certainly paid a lot more for a lot worse. There are a few real diamonds in the rough. Pay special attention to the tandoori chicken near the door, and the crispy pork belly.
B. D. O.
Been here a few times and it's always been good.
V. A.
Great selection of food. I loved the pancakes which I had with pulled pork and satay sauce. A brilliant place to introduce children to be flavours and have the security of familiar food for them if less adventurous. A bargain for kids too if go on Monday - £1 charity donation price!
S.
Love this place. Great value, amazing service and hot, fresh, delicious food. Unlimited desserts and drinks. The atmosphere is really nice and it's not too cramped even when busy. My boyfriend enjoyed the steak grill. If I could go every week I would
B. T.
What a choice of different foods
H.
Great food and service,would recommend.
Y. L.
A variety of dishes and decent taste. Some dishes are bit salty. Will give four out of five though 👍
D. P.
Had a great night while visiting Bristol. Food excellent. Something for everyone. Spotless restaurant. Staff lovely. Food cooked fresh in front of you and amazing buffet. Great value for money
T. v.
Was ok. Sushi bit disappointed not enough variety
A. C.
Whilst the food is quite good (for a buffet) the clientele generally are not. Think feeding time at the zoo, only all of the animals are hippopotamuses, half of which are morbidly obese and the other half covered in tattoos and wearing Argos jewelry. The place is just a mad rush for these people, who should be on a diet, to pile as much food on as many plates as they can without any regard for anyone else who may want to eat or have a pleasant time whilst doing so. It's like the human version of hungry hungry hippos. For children they have a height rule - if your child is under a certain height they get a discounted price. Nice idea. Now can we have a weight rule for the adults please? Whereby your bill is proportionate to your bodyweight. That way people of sensible weight can stop subsidising the buckets of food for people who in all honesty should not be allowed to enter an all you can eat buffet. I am of course being overly judgemental but really it's true. On a more positive note they offer 10% to emergency services and armed services personnel which is a nice touch. Got to give it five stars though because notwithstanding the above I did enjoy this place.
B. H.
Not as good as it used to be but the food is still great and the staff are brill
S. K.
Food was ok but the place is like an overcrowded canteen! Far too many people crammed into one place with people rushing around getting in each others way. Waiting staff were great though.
B. W.
I LOVE this place - I go back all the time! The food is always top notch - really tasty - and all you can eat for about £13 per head! Drinks are extra but they're a reasonable restaurant price. I haven't been able to find the same quality and price together anywhere else. It's also half the price at lunch time though they don't serve a few things at that time of the day such as the cooked-to-order steaks etc.
There's foods to suit every taste so it's perfect for my family. We all love Indian but my mother hates it so she sticks with the Chinese, Thai, Italian, English and American. Not exactly limited on choice!
If you've ever been to ZaZa Bazaar - it's the same kind of set up with foods from everywhere - except the quality at Cosmos FAR outstrips it!
I recently paid £80 elsewhere in Bristol for a reasonably nice meal in a nice setting - two people, two courses, one side and one round of cider. At Cosmos I paid £38 for two people, evening time, all I could eat of their gorgeous food and two rounds of cider. Speaks for itself really!
You will need to book - especially in the evening.
M. S.
Been Visiting this place for a few years, always great food and far to much to eat so if your looking for a great night out with family or friends at a reasonable price then this is the place for you. Can be a bit noisy at times mostly weekends as you would expect. Dont let that put you off the staff are friendly and helpful and always there to clean away your empty plates, as i dont drink theres a good selection of hot and cold soft drinks. Recommend this place but booking in advance is better if your not willing to wait for a table.
M. D.
Its ok, just far too crammed in. Lack of plates, tiny bar, and felt like a school hall in main section with lack of staff for amount of customers. Also ridiculously small aisles for food layout, and the griddle section took around 10 mins waiting time per go.
M. K.
Wide variety of food, all good, friendly staff, would recommend others to eat there.
K. H.
I found the food to be very good and plentiful the service was also good quietly efficient. The eating area was very clean and we'll maintained. I enjoyed my meal very much, and will be going there soon for another meal
J.
The whole family loved it. Great choice and fantastic food.
R. R.
Food was better and now time has been cut by 15 minutes to 1.5 hrs.
S. S.
My favourite all you can eat buffet in Bristol! The food is fresh and delicious with countless of options. If you visit on the weekend they have additional seafood options which are not there during the week.
E. O. (.
Lovely setting but not enough variety of food for lunch and floor felt slippery for pointy heels (was wearing short heeled court shoes) so I had to walk cautiously. Really close to other lovely places such as the Bristol Aquarium and shopping stores.
R. P.
Just about the best that one can reasonably hope for from an All-You-Can-Eat. In all honesty if you were ordering individual dishes then you would consider it good but not great however in the context of a free for all buffet, the food is very good indeed. It is by far the best all you can eat I have ever had and leagues better than ZaZa Bazaar. I would steer clear of the desserts though.

A balanced and nutritious meal.

If it's all you can eat you're after and you're 30 stone then this place is for you as at £16 a head it's hard to get your monies worth. Parking is quite a problem too unless you're lucky. But staff are great and food is okay too not the best quality food but what d'you expect for the price of 3 beers.

Had a great night while visiting Bristol. Food excellent. Something for everyone. Spotless restaurant. Staff lovely. Food cooked fresh in front of you and amazing buffet. Great value for money
R. L.
It was OK but no where near as good as some other similar buffets I have visited. The food was not very hot and not topped up often enough. The staff were very good and helpful.
S. P.
Great selection of food, and surprisingly the quality is high, considering the vast selection. I have been a few times and I've enjoyed it each time. The experience has improved with each visit.
L. S.
Big selection of continental and oriental foods very tasty and fair price. Eat as much as you want or can. Try not to waste, I disagree with those who pile up huge amounts only to leave most of it to be thrown away.

First time here as we don't eat out that often and we absolutely loved it! Family of 4, Two adults and two kids aged 15 and 12. Went on a Sunday evening. Hadn't booked but the staff were great and immediately showed us to a table and promptly ordered our drinks. We weren't sure of the system but the chap who brought us our drinks was very pleasant and not a problem for us that he didn't speak much English as we travel alot.
The kids eyes were popping out on stalks when they saw all the food, hadn't seen anything like it! I suppose it's like dining on a cruise minus the cruise! It was busy but there was no problem with queues and the kids happily ordered freshly fried calamari, sushi and, my favourite, scallops. I enjoyed some yummy chinese style mussels and nicely flavoured prawns. No problem ordering further drinks as the friendly and busy staff were constantly removing unwanted plates from the table. It's a great option for a larger party as having a set price and being able to choose what you want avoids the stress of ordering from a menu and sorting out the bill. I must say when the bill was handed to us ( we weren't asked to pre pay as per earlier review! ) I was shocked by the price! We had had an enormous meal and quite a few drinks and it only came to £63. They had also charged half price for our youngest without even asking his age! Left a good tip and will be back but not too soon as I'm afraid of the impact on my waist! ( following day I skipped lunch as just didn't feel hungry. ) If you are on a diet then this probably isn't the best option as just too tempting!

The waiting staff were wonderful and friendly. Food was meh, I've been to other buffets with better food. Decent setting. Multi storey car park within a 1 min walk.
R. D.
The food here is just Amazing so many different dishes to choose from
Prices are very good too.
Been many times.
Will vist again soon.
M. F.
I have visited your restaurant for the first time and after what I have been served by Patricia and been recommended wide range of delicious food I will come again because my friends have to taste and enjoy this experience too.
P.S. I wish you more waitresses like her!

One of the better world buffet restaurants
L. W.
Excellent- went 12 others. Excellent food and super efficient without being rushed. We always see the same manager when we go who is always very pleasant and clearly works very hard. Well done.
l.
If you don't mind really low quality food that's been sat there for half an hour and you just want to fill that vast void you call a stomach, then this is pretty good. Otherwise stay well away. Rice does not survive well under a hot lamp. The sushi is mostly cucumber or crab sticks, they even halved the prawn nigiri. If you're trying to eat your money's worth, just eating duck would be my strategy. If you eat chips here, there's no easy way to put this, you're a moron.
P. S.
Cosmo is the sort of place you go with a big family of fussy or big eaters. There's something for everyone here in epic volumes. There's options to have scallops, sirloin and various other meats grilled to order, a sushi bar, and a chocolate fountain (milk and white!) which set it apart from other chain buffets. The man who works front of house is a credit to the company his humour and enthusiasm gives a lasting impression of the place - I hope Cosmo recognise that, and his salary reflects it.
One thing that would be nice to see is what happens to all the food waste at these sorts of buffet restaurants. The website asks people to take what they can eat ('love food, hate waste'), but they don't go to any lengths to explain what happens to unavoidable wastage at the end of the day. Hopefully, something meaningful or useful happens with the leftover. Given the good publicity many restaurants are enjoying for providing shelters with food and 'meals on wheels' to those less able, it would be an easy win for Cosmo to get involved. Something for them to think about, anyway.
In the meantime, fill your boots!
M. R.
Love this place! Fantastic all you can eat buffet in a great location.
The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant itself is very well laid out, exceptionally clean and the staff are great.
Will definitely keep coming back.
K. J.
I like the idea of many cuisines in one place, and many dishes are good, but not amazing.
J. R.
Not the best buffet I have been to, the food was good but the plates were cold, so by the time you got back to your table, the food had already started to get cold. Nice decor in this restaurant and friendly staff (Sharon was amazing)
T. I.
Many be I'm a victim of nostalgia, also this was my first to me at the Bristol restaurant, but the variety was greatly reduced compared to pre-pandemic levels.
R. G.
Excellant service great food price good
D. W.
I'm not a HUGE buffet fan, but cosmos had such a huge selection of food!
We got there quite late so admittedly nothing was fresh or new and we were going to have to eat fast (but we knew that).
The price is unbeatable! I think I paid £15 for the food and £3 for bottomless pepsi.
Plus they had Hong Kong style noodles and chicken and sweetcorn soup so I was in heaven!
It's great for students!
Would deffo go back to cosmos, its good food for a great price!!! (and bottomless soft drinks you can't beat it)
M. O.
Great range of food, allergy labelling is really helpful but please can you add some treat puddings for people on a dairy free and gluten diet even if it is only tubs of sorbet.
J. S.
I came here as a treat for my friend who is a self-acclaimed connoisseur of pan-Asian cuisine, with a favourite local buffet as a reference point. Cosmo met and surpassed all expectations - a wealth of choice including seafood cooked in front of you and a range of desserts including fresh fruit. Cosmo did not skimp on meat and seafood, which was generous in both quantity and quality. Our favourite dishes included the crispy pork, fried chicken and spring rolls but, having tried a minority of dishes on our first visit, we hope to return tomorrow to give the rest a go!
K. W.
Rice is always undercooked, the meat is 80% fat so basically inedible and if you go anywhere near peak times or a few hours before close there is usually very little food left. Having said all that, there is a decent choice of foods and some of the dishes are nice. I'd choose Za Za Bazar over this if you don't mind the crowds.
P. G.
Good food, pretty good price.. Only thing that let it down was the time it took for a drinks order to be taken.
There are literally 100+ food choices in here, and all of them equally tasty (ok, I didn't try *all* of them, but did try three plates worth of variety)
S. B.
The manager was absolutely impeccable and the waiter were amazing the food was perfectly cooked and served and I don't have any bad things to say about it . I have already had 2 off my family meals there and they were amazing .
R. P.
Best buffet restaurant in Bristol. Great value and always our 1st choice for a family meal out. Really nice food especially the ribs, sweet and sour and chicken Korma.
D. P.
Very lovely experience! We had helpful, polite staff, great food and so much to choose from even when you are vegetarian. I can't wait to come back.

Get ready to over eat. Nice and varied. Enjoy.
G. I.
Sorted our Stag party of twelve out with zero notice when the smokehouse across the road turned out to have messed up our booking. Thank you Max!
P. N.
2nd cosmos I've been too, definitely better than my local one which is in romford.
B. D. A.
Good/fair price for the food/quality offered....i recommend strongly, been using cosmo norwi h for couples of years and after moving to Bristol i was more than happy to find out they are also open here.
R. K.
You cannot underate this place! It has every cuisine you can think of! Also has little blocks on each food telling you what allergens is in the food! One thing. It would be good if it had a vegetarian and vegan on the block too, so it's 100% known.
C. M.
Love this place, good selection of food to suit most tastes, very well priced for the standard. I've booked on previous 2 visits to avoid waiting around for seating, but it's not necessary. I hear weekends can be hectic there, and no wonder. NCP carpark located a few minutes walk away.
H. A.
Variety of international cuisine and friendly employees, but the quality of food could be better
J. J.
Great buffet place, good healthy non-meat dishes always available (delicious braised bean curd, mushrooms, beans etc). Staff sometimes abrupt but usually friendly. Good value for a full meal, but you can't buy anything less.
D. C.
Clean, large choice of dishes (Asia, India, roasted meat, veggies, sauces, desserts). Avoid their ice creams at all cost though, they are so stuffed with palm oil that I can hear the Orang-outans and their forest dying while eating them. Other than that it was great eating there.
S. G.
Had a very nice family meal. Food very good, not as much selection as some bigger venues, but a better atmosphere as it doesn't feel like eating in a warehouse
G. M.
Good service and variety of food. Always been able to get a table but place is always busy and often a little too noisy for a good catch up meal, however perfect for team nights out or large groups.
W.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant (bufet) is great, its featuring a great range of foods as pizza, pasta, sushi, seafood, salads, chinese, meat, sweets, ice cream, etc. Very clean place. Just make sure you refer to google advice at what time to visit as the place can get quite crowded. Reassuming actually one word should be enough to expres what this place is like: WOW! Will definitely call again.
b. b.
I totally recommend their mocktails
Z. H.
Very friendly staff on the ball and with it. Lovely food. Will be back again.
P. K.
Great place, but it's big, also when it comes to the sheer number of guests that fit in there. I don't mind at all and the food has always been good, fantastic selection and highly professional staff
N. B.
Good choice and good service but the drink were overpriced and didn't taste right. The beer has flecks in it probably unclean lines.
The drink situation was off putting but the food was good and hot.
D. B.
When I went to Bristol for a look at the uni's campus, I saw a diversity of restaurants in the area, I was surprised that they have a restaurant that offers an experience just like jimmy's spice. only that it surpassed my expectations on the quality of food, staff's friendliness and most of all THE PRICE! This is amongst one of the best chains I have been to; a hub for students and families appetites!!!
S. D.
For pan-Asian food Cosmo is a pretty good option. It is a buffet style restaurant with a 2 hour eating limit.
They provide a very wide range of Chinese and Indian dishes with a few dishes from other cultures thrown in for good measure. The food is of da good quality especially some of the Chinese roast duck dishes they put on.
The restaurant can seem a little dark in places but on the who provides good value and a good eating experience.
F. M.
Not the best experience this time. Sat in a crowded area and it was far too boisterously noisy - not Cosmo's fault. They don't seem to be consistent with what they serve. E.g. the types of meats seem to change - no ribs at all or lamb curry and yet I have been before and enjoyed some.
g. h.
Great food at good prices. So do all your shopping then eat afterwards. Plenty of free parking and plenty of disabled parking.
Only thing is membership only. But worth joining.
R. w.
Brilliant, food. You have a huge selection. Very reasonable in what you get. Don t mix to many meals together. You will have s funny tummy. You can have as many serving you want.
J. y.
Very nice visit, great selection of food. Rather busy this time of day, can be loud with the large number of diners. Looking forward to visiting after the upcoming refit.
E. '.
I enjoy my visits to COSMO every time I go.
Huge selection of foods to choose from and plenty of tables and seats.
Softdrinks are free after the first purchase, unlimited free refills.
Never had an issue with staff there, all have been quite friendly and many are busy going about clearing tables in a timely manner and getting more food out onto the main floor.
I often visit with friends and work colleagues before heading off on a night out on the town, being at COSMO means we don't have to try and work out a place we all agree on because they already stock all of the food types we want.
The only reason I give it a 4 star rating instead of 5 is something that is essentially out of their control and that is the children running around all over the place, totally not the fault of COSMO but on multiple occasions I've almost tripped over or have been run into by kids who're treating it like a playground more than a restaurant.
Kids will be kids and I understand that, so if you're one of the kids reading this or you're a kid who is going, or who wants to go, to COSMO just remember there's other people walking around with hot food and plates but still enjoy yourselves!

First time I visited here and I must say best buffet I've ever been too! So clean, lovely staff and plenty of choice of food. Food was delicious
A. H.
Amazing place to go for a wide variety of cuisines, reasonably priced. All you can eat. Staff friendly and welcoming.
K. P.
Visited a few times now it's been consistently good a good veriety of food at a high standard with great staff and service a great family friendly place best all you can eat restaurant by far
D. B.
Went for lunch on a Saturday, much better choice than they used to have however considerably less than the evening options. Food was a good quality and refreshed often. A good choice for a long lunch.
G. K.
I've went there yesterday for the first time and had fabulous experience. Staff were very nice and handy, food was delicious, however they did not had a large choice of cocktails to choose from, and the ones they had was made only with smirnoff vodka (preferences of other brand and better quality vodkas would have been nice). For anyone wanting to eat in cosmo I would suggest to get a booking before the visit, otherwise you might have to wait quite a while, have a table for an hour or not get a table at all. As well it could get really crowded. Overall, 4 stars out of 5 and I am sure I'll be comming back.
T. R.
Great as usual really lovely staff and nice choice of foods 😊
N. C.
Great meal. Good food and value for money. A little noisy but otherwise a good experience. Will go again on quieter evening.
D. P.
Good selection and okay food quality for the price.
M. I. N.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.... Totally changed since the refurbishment - now more cramped, less space for food and the new entrance makes it feel much darker than it used to be. Disappointed as it used to be fantastic...
N. P.
For an all you can eat buffet it's ok, although I have been to better restaurants of this type. Food is nice without being amazing, although it's good value for the choice you get. Was not left disappointed but will not be rushing back either.
M. C.
Huge food varieties. I love the grilled calamari and salmon.
U.
Very good food, although a little slow with refilling and desserts poor, could use the same afford that is put into the world dishes put into these.
O. A.
Great place to eat. good pricing ideal for students to stock up on calories. Sadly we were too late for deserts. Otherwise would ve 5 stars
S. P.
My favourite all you can eat buffet, good quality food considering the style of restaurant. Great venue for groups and birthdays, not so much for the quiet intimate meal.
a. n.
All I can say is, "dayum!"
That was crazy
D. O.
Great range of foods and friendly staff :)
A. C.
Busy but only waited 10mins on a Saturday night. Lovely polite and attentive staff. Clean, fresh and flavoursome! I will definitely return...thank you so much.
G.
Great, super value, multi menu self service restaurant with unlimited soft drinks, food was very nice and service just as good, long tables for bigger parties,
S. A.
Much improved since the place was revamped, creating a much better atmosphere, and not feeling so closed in
Food was very good, not quite as much variety as before, but definitely better quality.
Very good value for money.
A. G.
Amazing all you can eat, food was all delicious and is definitely worth a visit! My only negative is the tables are too close together so when people walk between tables to go and get food they feel as though they are going to end up on your lap. All in all I would definitely come again!
M. C.
As always, money well spent.
o. h.
This is our favourite family restaurant after the refurbishment it's amazing the food seems to been improved and it's even cleaner we really enjoyed our lunch today
q.
Just having our daughters 16 birthday meal here, awesome service from Adam
Good times!!
K. P.
Fantastic for groups. Everyone will find something they like and it's a flat fee for all you can eat. My two young boys are asking to go back!
E. L.
One of my preferred places to grab some food. fantastic location, well organised, and very good customer service. I highly recommend them!
M. G.
Greta place with nice services and good fish food and suchi!
