Very good food and great service. A bit expensive. Everything clean and tidy... But you can not bring the sauce for the beef bourguignon in the same plate than the beef! Side portatoes didn't worth the £6. Excellent the creme brulee.

The much loved menu has changed. The Tuna is now coated in sesame seeds which interfere with the taste of the tuna. It good. All other salads have gone. Same great service and ambience though. Amazing staff.

I have been here for Christmas party. The service is very efficient and kind and the environment is impressive. The food and the quality of the ingredients is very good too, but I wasn't sure about the steak, it was uncooked inside and overcooked outside. I'm sorry but I expected a better steak from a £50 per person dinner. But everything else was perfect.

Lovely service with lovely food! We were able to eat outside which was really nice and we got lovely served by Bertalan who was really nice and very helpful. They had decaf caffe which would have been great to be added on the drinks menu. Also if there was a barrier for outside for people to go around the street could have been better since a lot of people were walking by the table. The crab mayonnaise was incredible! They told us that the grilled salmon is sourced from UK so we got it and it was just the good balance of healthy food with high quality fish! The fish parmentier was also very great with a lot of different textures coming together nicely :)! The staff were all wearing protective visors which was great as well. Having more space for outside dining with some warm heaters for winter could be a great idea if they want to expand the capacity as well. Highly recommend!

Well staffed. Small portions and vastly overpriced. £4.75 for a very small amount of triple cooked chips, which were necessary as the "tart" we ordered for a main course was not enough on its own...and I have a small appetite! £4.75 for a bottle of Métier lager. A return journey is unlikely.

Staff is quite friendly and efficient, food is generally served “fast” and there’s is a wide range of options, all brasserie classics. Quite fancy from the outside, but inside on a busy day it can be quite chaotic, expect a lot of large families usually! Restaurant staff are very good and the food is to a good quality. It's quite pricey but the location probably requires it to be, pricey in the £2.85 for a small coke varient, ouch.

This was a belated 18th Birthday celebration for our daughter which should have been celebrated on 14th February but was blighted by Covid. The brilliant manager and our lovely waiter went above and beyond. Thank you so much for making the evening such a joy. Without doubt our favourite restaurant for a wonderful meal out.

This was the most wonderfully and expertly put together meal I've had in a while. From swift considered service to beautifully tasty food. One of our party had a minor intolerance and this was noted and carried through to all waiting staff and chef alike. The minute we were out of water a jug was replaced. So I suffer from a Mustard Allergie and normally its the biggest pain to go out and eat and most of the time i'm made to feel like i'm annoying for having an allergy but not at Côte. The staff were really well versed at dealing with allergies and even provided me with a tablet that I could use to browse all the ingredients that are used for the entire menu making ordering super easy. Not only that at least 2 memebers of staff took extra note of my allergy and I was made to feel safe and like I mattered. Really great services and I left super happy.

Just as lovely as it's always been. My husband and I finally managed to get to Cote at the weekend our first visit since lockdown when it was one of our favourite places to go. The food was delicious as always, the staff were as efficient, professional and friendly as before and how lovely it was to see members of the original team. Worth a visit

We always enjoy our family visits to Côte. It's a favourite, particularly the Clifton branch where the cooking is always consistently good. There is always something for everyone but we also enjoy looking out for the specials and today there was well-priced lobster dishes. Busy and noisy, as usual on a Friday evening, the service is friendly and efficient. Everything, from the bread and butter to dessert and coffee, are always enjoyed by everyone. Highly recommended.

Away for work, so eating alone I decided to try Cote. Before 7 Monday to Friday you can get set meals for £14.95 for two courses or £19.95 for three courses. I thought this excellent value for the quality meal I received. The set menus come from a short menu, I had egg, bacon and little gem salad, venison cottage pie and creme caramel. All dishes were really good, the service was good and friendly and it has a nice atmosphere. I didn't feel odd eating by myself. I would gladly go back with company!

Yes, it's a "chain" and the restaurant is huge, but otherwise - food, service, ambiance - you'd think you were in a proper, independent brasserie. We arrived on a very busy Sunday night but were seated promptly and the young server couldn't have been more pleasant or attentive. The steak frites and chicken with potatoes gratin were both excellent. High marks all round.

This place is quite upscale. The professionalism and quality of service is the best I have seen so far. Most of the dishes were quite superb. Amazing rizotto, calamari, spinach and mushroom crépe, followed by a mediocre chicken salad. I was, however, extremely disappointed with my dish. I ordered chargrilled swordfish. It was anything but. They boiled the fish and maybe spent one minute on each side to emulate a grilled dish. That didn't fool anyone. Finally, as expected the restaurant was quite pricey and the portions could be a little bit bigger. Honestly, vegetables don't cost as much and it would make customers a lot happier if the plate looked a bit more full. Overall, having sampled about half the menu I'd give 4.5 stars. Maybe if I had ordered something different, they would easily get 5 stars.

Arrived here on a busy Saturday evening without a reservation. Luckily the restaurant was able to accommodate us despite the restaurant being packed. We were served by Tiziano. He made brilliant recommendations and suggested a great wine. The food like all Cote restaurants is very good but the service is outstanding. We used to go to The Ivy Clifton often, the food there is very average the service poor, so glad to have found a better casual bistro place which is much cheaper and a better dining experience.
