It's like how going out to eat at restaurants in general is supposed to be yummier / more tasty but then you go to Cotto and you realise what restaurant food is ACTUALLY supposed to taste like. It blew our socks off. We got 5 starters, 2 mains and 2 deserts between 3 of us and found every dish tasted next level good. Like flavours I didn't know existed. We could barely talk to each other while eating because we didn't want to distract from the food. Love the community theme and friendly vibe. Staff are the nicest people you can find anywhere. I am going to take all of my friends here one by one. Okay I will calm down now. Thanks for having us xxx

a perfect cup of Italian espresso, thick and fragrant in a scalding cup, with a crack of biscotto. cute place for a small bite or cake, larder to the nearby Ripiena thus good quality stuff, incl. interesting wines and beers. too hot on a hot day, can't sit outside.

What a great bar. Good wine choices with several by the glass. Staff are excellent, knowledgeable about their products. The smoked Ricotta was amazing. Spent way too but had a fantastic evening.

I loved this bar ! I had a first date there last night and the awesome chill vibe and brilliant service definitely helped with nerves. My date loved her wine, I had a few incredible old fashioneds. The moxed Italian cheese and meat boards were Probably among the best I've ever had (the meat loaf was incredible). Our server was so friendly and attentive. I didn't catch her name but I can't thank her enough for giving us a great evening. I will say sometimes the music was very loud and I struggled to hear my date who was only about a foot away, it's a cosy little venue so I was easy for the music to overwhelm the conversation. But that said the playlist was epic. If you need a date literally don't go anywhere else.

If you like proper coffee, you have to go here. They sell coffee to drink in and take out, and it is one of the best I’ve had. It’s a unique blend developed with the guys at Wogan. You can buy the beans to use in your coffee machine. Not eaten here yet, but friends have and they rave about it. Worth a visit for sure! ☕️

Gem in Bristol. Lovely wine and even better lasagna. Amazing atmosphere, perfect for a date night. Don't be afraid to try the seafood one--its actually the best one. Homemade everything. Beautiful people.

Lovely little place for excellent Italian cocktails and food. I came here with my date and it was lovely, informal yet intimate. The quality of the food is as expected by the Pasta Loco gang - immense.

Great little Italian aperitif bar, great cosy atmosphere - perfect date venue. Brilliant selection of Italian cocktails (negroni, Aperol spritz, Campari soda etc) alongside a comprehensive wine selection. Lovely menu of small to medium dishes, savoury and sweet to share, all prepared fresh in front of you - recommend the anchovy toast! Staff really friendly and helpful.

Amazing cocktails- try their grapefruit fizz with Prosecco! Divine food. I had cheese, olives, best focaccia I’ve ever tasted and two scrumptious salads and the rest of my party had wonderful Italian cured meats as well with cakes and coffee after. Left with loads of very reasonably priced deli delights for home such a treat..... definitely going back ASAP.

I went here for the Venetian Cicheti evening and it was brilliant. We enjoyed the prosecco and limoncello they included and tried some other wines from the menu. The waiting staff were great and the quality (and quantity) of the food was exceptional.

Aperol spritz and focaccia. Need I say more? Honestly, this is the best focaccia I have ever tasted. The perfect setting for an evening tipple or fresh lunch. Or cake. So basically you can go there anytime and you will have made a good life decision.
