Recently moved to the area and went to this place on a whim. I've had loads of fish and chips in my life but these are just on a next level. Absolutely beautiful food, I waited about 30 seconds for it- when it came out it was piping hot and when I got home and ate it, it was probably the best fish and chips I've had in my life. It tastes nice and fresh, the batter is beautiful and the chips are just what you want from a chip- crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I'll definitely be coming back.

I went here because it was local to a friends house. As a foreword, I've regularly had fish and chips from places all over the south west, so I have a good idea of how nice fish and chips CAN be. Because of this I can be a bit picky. The fish and chips from here were a little too greasy for my taste. Not really bad, but not as good as they COULD be. The chips were a little oily too, but it was a reasonable price for the quantity they served, and it was definatly not the worst I've eaten. I'd still probably go elswhere in future though as I live just outside of yate, and there's an almost as convinient alternitive the other direction that I prefer.

Moved to the area recently and popped in for fish due to high ratings. Nice system of receiving an order number and waiting outside to be called in. Parking in front is convenient. The cod bites were nice and the chips were lovely and crispy.

Awesome Fish 'n' Chips!! Usually go else where as Chipping Sodbury based but was in passing and gave Frydays a shot... Lovely, moist and well cooked fish, chips very nice (eat a few as not a great fan potatoe but extremely nice)... You have a new regular customer and will be recommending all my friends to you!! I am a regular customer due to the excellent value for money. One day it was raining causing the paper bag my food was in to split causing it to spill all over the road. It was my lunch and I was hungry so I went back fully prepared to pay for another meal, however the staff replaced it for me free of charge. Excellent customer service!

My wife & I have bought fish & chips from here at least six times over the last year when in Yate. I have to say although the first few visits the food was very nice it has even improved to FIRST CLASS on the last couple of visits, smashing tasting fish in crispy batter & properly cooked chips which were actually tasty ( a rare find these days!). Certainly the best F&C's in Yate & surrounding areas!
