S. D.I am lucky to work within walking distance of this wonderful shop, and visit regularly! All of my favourite treats from my home country are there, and the wonderful friendly SA staff are great to chat to when I am homesick too 😁 great prices for the best boerewors I have had in the UK, and really tasty biltong, snapsticks, dry wors and tons more on offer. If you miss cooking ingredients, spices, teas, maizemeal, sweets, chips etc you can find them all here.
D. c.Thank you for the quick service. l put an order on Saturday (2 April) morning just after 10am and today Tuesday (5th of April) l received it just after 10am meaning l had my Rusks. Thank you sooo much you never disappoint.
G. K.Great selection of South African goods at the St. Nicolas market! Exotic drinks, hand crafted ceramics, pots, jewellery and so much dried beef I couldn't imagine in all varieties and flavours. On top of that the staff was cheerful and informative. Definitely pop in!
S. B.Great variety of South African products. The Boerewors,Biltong and Dry Wors is really good. Friendly staff. And if you feel like a Boerewors roll they make them at the diner next door.

S. B.A little hidden treasure. This place was recommended by a South African colleague for billtong, and I found lots of other nice meaty snacks that you won't easily find elsewhere.
Helpful staff explained unfamiliar products, and now I have to go there whenever in Bristol centre.

T.It is our tradition to visit Kalahari Moon every time we go to Bristol - which isn't that often!
The owner always has some goodies stashed away on the shelves somewhere and she has an amazing stock of all the SA favourites. Extremely fair prices compared to some shops in outer London make it well worth the visit. With staff always up for a good chat as well, it is a wonderfully friendly shop.
The selection of meats is good and the biltong (both fresh and packaged) is always well stocked. The biltong is also good quality, with lots of flavour. You will always be able to find the right piece for your taste whether you want it dry or wet, fatty or not.
The only downside to the shop is how difficult it could be to find if you didn't have a local to guide you there - navigation of Bristol can be difficult!
Will be visiting again as soon as we can.
