Really great experience. The kids loved their food choices. Eldest son is a big fan of calamari and was very excited to see that as an option on the kids menu. Plenty of choice for the arts too. We'll presented, and excellent flavours. The menu has certainly been improved over the years. The place was clean and the staff worked hard to ensure that we had a great experience. Time from order to being served was definitely acceptable, even the youngest didn't really have time to get bored.

First visit to Las Iguanas and it was Amazing! The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. We had cocktails (2 for 1,all day every day) and we couldn't fault them, they were delicious and well made. Prices were fair, compared to some other places. The food was delicious. It was well presented, hot and flavoursome. The decor was bright and colourful and the music was good. A little loud, but it was still a good atmosphere to be in. The staff were brilliant, they were really helpful, attentive and they constantly checked on us through our meal. Can't wait to visit again!

Not eaten at Las Iguanas before and we were really impressed. We started with well-made margaritas then shared two excellent starters between three of us. The nachos++ we're our favourite. Three different mains we're all given thumbs up and we had the loveliest waitress serving us. The large restaurant was nearly full which is a good sign. We'll certainly visit again. Friendly and polite staff. Clean and comfortable dining area. Good location and excellent food. Only issue was a mix up with my partners food. It had crayfish in, which was not an ingredient on the menu for the dish she ordered. She has a slight allergy to shellfish, but luckily she spotted it early and removed them.

Loved our visit to Las Iguanas! It was a warm day and the their coolers were just what we needed, they were so good and they are buy one get one free!!! We went for a selection of tapas as our mains and all of them were just delicious! And ofcourse churros with chocolate dip, just finished off a lovely meal. Thanks!!!

Food was tasty, however expensive; case in point I paid £2.95 for a side of refried beans with my main - it was a couple of tablespoons at the most and rather runny. It was all a bit rushed too. We'd ordered starters and no sooner had they been collected and the mains were turning up. I appreciate its a fine line, the time between courses, but this was too quick. In all we were out in and out in just over an hour.

Came as a group of 4 for a late dinner at 8.30pm after a quick game of bowling. The table was big for 4 a nice round table but the seats were a little low for table hight. We had some starters of nachos with beef the portion size was big for 2 and it tasted delicious. I had a beef chilli for my main, my husband had the buttnut squash enchiladas and my friend had a burrito bowl and the other friend had a chicken borrito with a side of fries. The beef chilli was nice but would have preferred the beef which was on the Nachos to the mince meat. The service was good and the time we waited for food was very good started within 10 minutes. I had one of the special cocktails which was buy one get one free. The cost for 4 people with started drinks and mains was £84

We ate on a Saturday afternoon. It was quite busy but not full by a long way. We paced our order quickly as we were told we had limited time on our table. 40 mins later, the first meal was brought out and then 5 minutes later 2 more. The final meal had been left off of the order so after a further 15 mins we all had our food. The food was tasty and nicely presented. When our table was cleared, the server took 2 of the plates and left the rest andcthen cleared other tables around us. It was so disorganised and the only people that were in any sort of a hurry was us. NOT GREAT WOULDN'T GO AGAIN.

Well what can I say this was my first time eating here as I have been twice before and left due to no service from staff. However I did eat here and the funny thing was the 4 people that came in and sat next to me for about 30mins decided to leave after no one served them or came over to them. On plus side I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my meal the staff attitude wasn't very good at the end of the meal I placed money on the table and the lady came over and took it waited for about 10mins then asked about my change witch would off been over £8 and then she said I sorry I didn't know you wanted change back

Nice Latin American restaurant, great for if you're after something a little different. All the classic burrito, quesadilla type things. Prices are fairly dear for what you get but okay as a treat. Ample parking and good service. COVID precautions taken seriously. Really good overall though not somewhere for a cheap bite.

Still don't agree with "optional service charge" added to the bill if you are 5 or more (we are a family of five so always get it added Tipping is at the customers discretion which im always happy to do, but if business wish to increase their staffs income then put an extra £1 on the meals and pay them more. If the service charge is discretionary why does the waitress need to see a manager to get it removed..

In normal days I loved this place. It's never failed to live up to my personal recommendation to friends and family. They kept my honour when I recommended this place to my boss. Sadly post lockdown they're struggling to maintain standards with a drastically reduced menu and swathes of new staff with little or no product knowledge. The food is the thing though hence being able to give them four stars rather than marking them down heavily which would be needlessly harmful to them. Hopefully when we get beyond the pandemic and into the new normal that we will have to get used to (the old normal led us to this pandemic) things will look up again for what used to be head and shoulders above all easily one of my favourite restaurants.

Thursday night, place was packed and the atmosphere was good. Service was really slow on this occasion and initially I thought it was because the restaurant was packed but thirty minutes after arriving (20:15 reservation) most were finishing up and it had quietened down... We were still waiting for our first drinks order to be taken... After our meal which was delicious, I received the bill I had asked for and twenty minutes later had to actually go looking for someone just to pay. Atmosphere good, food great as always, service needs improvement.... Like once in a while, ask if you'd like another drink when (eventually) you see empty glasses 👍🏻

Visited with work colleagues. Drinks were buy 1 get 1 free so that was a good start. We ordered an assortment of appetizers, all was fresh and good sized portion. My favourite was Calamari. In mains I ordered sea food from Brazilian food page and it was very good, fresh, filling, portion was just right for me.. served with right amount of rice. We were 8 on the table and food was served within 20 minutes of placing order. Rest of the guys ordered burgers, tacos etc and all were happy, no complaints. Atmosphere is what I really liked.. although was quite busy but tables had enough spacing for privacy.. just perfect for me. Staff was courteous, polite and professional. Overall I had satisfactory experience, will definitely visit again with family at my local branch in Berks.

Apart from a hair in the nachos the food was delicious and came out quickly. However, the service was not great. It seemed like the waitresses didn't want to be there and we had to wait to be seated whilst one finished what sounded like a personal phone call. Also, one of the dishes that came out was not what we ordered - the waitress probably misheard due to the music being too loud. On another note the parking wasn't great either. Be prepared to search for a space for a while and to wait in traffic for a long time when leaving. I know this has nothing to do with the restaurant itself but I feel like I should mention it. I would go back to a Las Iguanas for the food but definitely not the one at Cribbs Causeway.

Wow we just went today for the first time and what awesome food! Very reasonably priced too. Only thing I can fault with this place was the lack of staff. We had to wait a bit to be sat down and wait for our plates to be collected. The staff looked a bit stressed with the lack of staff so I think management should look into that. Can't fault the food here! Revamped meni has only made the cuisine even more tasty and appealing. There's something for everyone and a great vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menus. There's a disabled toilet on the ground floor which is good for wheelchair users. Outside seating too for warmer days. We visited on Saturday 26 May and absolutely loved it all. We shared 5 tapas with chips and olives and we couldn't finish it all.. So portion sizes are great too. Highly recommended if in the area

The food is good have had the burger and pork, bit on the expensive side, both times I have been to this particular restaurant they have no chicken. Well prepared south american dishes with a reasonably large variety, ranging from aromatic sea food and tasty spicy curries to steak burgers and BBQ style grills. Staff are welcoming and friendly. One of my favourite restaurants, with plenty of parking at the Venue car park. This restaurant sells a range of Latin American food including Mexican, Peruvian and Argentinian dishes. The food is always really tasty. Las Iguanas also sells desserts such as Churros, serves 2 for 1 cocktails and a range of alcoholic and soft drinks. If you register your details on their website, they will send you a voucher for a free main course on your birthday. It's well worth it.

Four Star NOT Five Star, because we tried to book a table over the phone rather than turn up and find we couldn't get a table. Alas after an hour of calling they never answered. So, we took a chance and found there would be a table in about an hour. The manager said they "generally don't answer the phone of an evening" !!!!! Crazy or what? Plenty of other restaurants on the door step but we decided to wait as we really wanted to experience something different, food and drinks wise. The service once we got a waiter was top notch. The main courses XinXim & Bahian Coconut Chicken both were top notch, the drinks were really good as well. Being a driver the two for one non-alcoholic cocktails were just the job. But the desert was.. how can I put this? Just okay. I orderd the Banana /Plantin Empanadas with Pina-Colada ice cream. Bare in mind I told the waiter I was really hungry, this was a small portion, like TINY! Having lived in Spain I should have known better. Yep it was different but unlike the main course, just as you start it you've finished it. The atmosphere here was good and lively without drowning you out. I'm partially deaf but we didn't find weneed to raise our voices as you often do in a lotnof eateries today. Would we come again? Yes. We live on the South Coast and we'll certainly try our nearest one which is in Portsmouth.

I do enjoy Las Iguanas when I go, but find it a bit on the expensive side for a regular visit. Their menu doesn't carry quite the usual range, so a bit different, being mainly South American in nature. If you fancy a change from Asian cuisine, give it a go. They do have vege and vegan dishes, too.
