Nice atmosphere and place. There are many flowers and everything is quite aesthetic. Nice and big dishes with good prices and lovely staff. The only think I disliked was the very short table we were accommodated in, It wasn't very pleasant eating hunched over.

Good little place for coffee and breakfast with decent vegan food including cakes. Staff here are attentive and nice with a modern atmosphere. Pros: Vegan breakfast and coffee were very good quality and service was fast. Cons: Portion size for the price is a little steep. (Coffee and breakfast is roughly £15)

Service was great. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Great breakfast menu selection. Breakfast menu has a pretty good selection of meals for those with dietary requirements too! Think we're going to have to go back to try more of the menu! Food came really quickly, was hot and tasted good. Great new addition to the Downend high street. We will definetly be back again, and again and again!

Lovely restaurant, let down by the quality of it's food. We visited Mokka for the first time for dinner. The decor and ambiance was lovely and the staff welcoming and attentive. The food arrived promptly and was well presented but for us was slightly lacking. We ordered two different chicken dishes and both had the same processed breaded chicken portions, think Birds Eye frozen food section. Not awful, but something you would usually serve children and I won't be in a hurry to return

Brilliant time had by all. We were at our Christmas 🎄 get together. The service was impeccable. The Courvoisier luxury hot chocolate was divine 👌 As were the Cinnamon & Hot Chocolate Churros. My two Best Friends had proper meals which they enjoyed. I've been here several times before, usually for breakfast. I thoroughly recommend this Restaurant/Bar. If I could give it 10 stars ⭐ I would.

Always go here for food with different friends and family, no one as ever complained. Always said they really enjoyed the food. Only downside is there is no calorie information on the menus, do you know if this may be something that will happen in the future? Apart from that would 100% recommed Mokka to friends and family.

Would probably not go back....chicken burger just tasted of fat and the coleslaw was really tasteless. Wife's bean burger literally fell apart. Tables are really close together. We much prefer booths where you have that little bit of privacy. Staff were really good and fast service, almost too fast. We were in and out within 1 hour.

We had a lovely lunch here September 2021. Chile con Carne with rice and chips. Plus drinks came to £30 for two. Great value but it's got a really nice atmosphere too. I'm definitely coming back. Update January 2023 I had the chilli again but this time it was bland and tasteless. I have a feeling they are scrimping on the ingredients to try to save money.

Despite not booking ahead my friend and I were accommodated. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food was lovely, although my food was a bit on the cool side on arrival. I ordered a pot of tea for one and not sure if problem was with the teapot or milk, but when milk was added there were large lumps floating around my cup. This was promptly replaced by waitress. All in all good experience, after first visit, good menu and definitely recommend

Heard a lot about Mokka so we decided to try it for breakfast this morning, bizarrely even though it was only 5 minutes after it had opened and there were only 8 people in there we were told after asking for a table that we would have to have a sofa table????? 50 mins later when we left there were still 5 unused tables, were they being occupied by ghosts or am I missing something here? The breakfast were a decent size and everything was OK except for the bacon which appeared to have been cooked by laying it on a stone in the desert for a week. Pleasant staff and a nice enough atmosphere let down by some minor details, To add insult to culinary injury the bill was handed to us with an "optional" service charge which didnt seem to be optional at all as it was automatically included in the total... don't think I'd go out of my way to go for breakfast again.

Such a lovely ambiance and atmosphere when I met a friend here recently. The staff were super friendly and helpful which made you feel at ease. We sat on some wonderfully comfortable sofas in the window and enjoyed a slice of cake and a coffee. We had originally planned to have lunch but the food prices were a little eye watering. I’m sure it’s worth every penny judging by the plates we saw passing by but it was a little beyond our budget at the time. Lovely place though

Went a couple of weeks ago and my friends had the haddock fish cakes which were huge and homemade and looked lovely. I went again today and ordered the same but they were very disappointing, small and looked like shop bought. Like two completely different meals but both cost the same price. Fairly average, quite loud music & generally noisy so had to raise our voices to have a chat, which is not great when out for a monthly catch up. 3 of us visited here today and had a selection of 'small plates' and one of us had a chicken burger. All the food was good, especially the pear, walnut, pear and blue cheese salad and the Manchego cheese with honey. Friendly fast service and reasonably priced. We will be back again soon.

Visited this restaurant/lounge bar with a friend for breakfast the other day. Venue is beautifully decorated - the hanging flowers/greenery is a lovely touch. I had a small veggie breakfast which was delicious and plenty of food so I am definitely wanting to come back and with a very picture worthy layout I am sure this place will do brilliantly. Only reason I am not giving 5* is I stupidly spilt my tea over myself and the offer of a refill was not offered when I'd only had it put in front of me, I feel alot of other venues would offer to replace. Still I would definitely recommend this place and shall happily visit again.
