Reviews of Rana's Dhaba
F. K.
A small authentic indian/ Pakistani cuisine stall. Great prices, great taste and very friendly staff. Seating in front of Dhaba is good and open air with some shelter. Take out is available. Parking is hard to find like in any city centre but if you already parked and on foot exploring the area then it is a must place to eat snacks or full meal. Potions are generous. Vegetarian options are also available.

The absolute best Indian and panasian food in Bristol. We enjoyed it so much we had to go back for seconds! Amazing vegetarian and meat options, the lady who served us was so lovely. Definitely going back again! Shame we don't have room for a third helping :)
R. k.
The location is very close to primark,haymarket..food is good quality and cheaper prices.if you go for shopping near city center and want to grab some indian food this is good choice.vegan options also available.i had rice with dal .quality was good and affordable prices

One of the best authentic Indian food place in the heart of Bristol. All the food I had here tastes home like. It is my first go to place in Bristol when I crave for authentic Indian home like food.

Good Indian food at a reasonable price .... it has both vegetarian as well as non vegetarian options .... various types of curry’s available ... all types of curries are served with rice and salads .... they also have a starter options and do the burger , chips and other fast food options ... chole bature are very good though the samosas and biryani was not that great
m. a.
Snacks were good , samosa n veg roll. Rice was just about ok
A. R.
Very friendly and helpful lady, open until late. The range of food was amazing and, in my experience, freshly cooked. The samosas were a big size and delicious. Would definitely go there again if in Bristol.

Lovely service, big samosa, great masala tea

Mother Rana isn’t at 2nd sight only about quality home made Indian Cuisine. It gave me a home feeling. Family affairs from India in England. The highest quality of standards like Samosa, home made from one day before for 1£. Impressive, tasty and second to none!
A small place, with rich taste, love and infinite care for its daily customers. I even lost my wallet before my departure and she really went to the place where I lost it and shipped it to Germany! 100.000 kisses and Love.
Will always recommend it with no doubts, pride and since the first time I came to Bristol added it to my personal TOP FIVE food experiences of the Town.
I Love you, thank you and anytime I am back one of my first addresses to visit. Quality food for body and as well spicy mind. But more I gained family by simply buying food.
M. D.
Affordable...good portions in the chicken dishes. Good biryani too.
Chhole bhature were amazing as well.
T. R.
Hospitality and food both are good , specially samosa and chattni too good 😝🤗🙏💐

A must see for the budget traveller. It really reminded me of a roadside dhaba in India. delicious cheap food that will fill you up and leave you with a smile. Try the Chole Bhature a chickpea curry with fried bread. Can't wait to visit again

A really nice cup of tea.
DO NOT EVER ASK FOR A COFFEE THO. Unless you like hot dishwater, that has a hint of camp coffee.
Food?
Never had any, but I hear good things, especially the samosa and onion bhaji. Might try soon.
A. E.
You can get rice halal chiken all kind of asian food . All things outclass. 😘😘😘😘😘

Great taste and flavours. A nice place to grab a bite when you're out shopping, especially if you like Indian snacks. Indian tea is good.

Nice place for a quick tasty meal or for a grab-n-go. Vegetarian/vegan options too. Many locals and Indians consider it as a must, so don't hesitate to try it.
S. M.
It's ok if you want to have some Indian food, don't expect authentic taste, but you will enjoy.
V. p.
Good place to hang around if tired of the shopping around....and enjoy a nice savory snack!

Amazing and delicious food. Quantity was awesome. Chicken Biryani and boneless Chicken curry is never to be missed. We had hot onion bajji's here with which he gave some tangy chutney...mouthwatering. Last but not the least we had masala Tea to cope with the cold day, it was awesome.. Will visit him regularly

Doesn't look much but we always come here. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Coffee's lovely (better than starbucks) and its open late, which is perfect for those late shopping nights. It's under cover for those rainy days, but Council need to replace a couple of the sky panels.
N. S.
Lovely service and delicious authentic Indian food
S. M.
Probably the best proper Indian food you'll get anywhere in Bristol.
It's pricing is perfect for a student budget and the food quality and standards are much better than most restaurants.
It's always consistently good and I'd 100% recommend getting chai from there after a meal.
Y. L.
Great food at a great price. 🤤
M. E.
Had a very nice lunch here today. I had the Chickpea curry and thought it was great. The portion sizes are good and I think the value for money is good for the location but maybe a little more expensive than would be ideal.
L. M.
Great tasting food at a very reasonable price. Will definitely come again next time I’m in Bristol.

Ordered a samosa (massive) and 2 spring rolls for £2! Came with lovely dips that was a pleasant surprise. The samosa was packed full of flavour with a satisfying crunch. Spring rolls were a bargain and tasty. I shall be back

Good food, but not the same taste as Indian or Asian food for spice levels.

I just had tea but the Indian menu seemed worth sampling another time. Popular with bus company employees. It's a cabin with tables outside.
P. M.
small family run place, give it a try for the Indian food
L. F.
Great food on the go and the card machine works if you ask nicely (or order over £5)
If you’re a pasty English person like me, the butiani is a liiittle on the warm side, but dang if it doesn’t full you up
