We had a lovely curry at Shadin's! The staff was very welcoming and helpful and the food was just amazing! Few new dishes on the menu were recommended and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Will be deffinately coming back!

Went here in a small group for a friend's birthday. I wasn't familiar with Shadin before and will be certain to return again now! The food was very good, portions a great size, reasonably priced and every member of staff was a delight to speak to - cannot recommend enough!

Super quick service, super tasty food! Best takeaway we can remember having. They were very accommodating of our request for chana instead of meat, and popped some poppadoms in too. We would highly recommend.

As for Indian food, I’ve tried others but cannot name any place better, even if some were good. I’ve probably had at least 40+ meals from these guys ranging across the menu over the last 10 years. Amazing. The best 👍🏻

I have been going to Shadin for a very a long time now and want to say it is one of the best Restaurants in Bristol both John & Andy know what they are doing and I am glad they are continuing to serve us during this Pandemic! I strongly recommend trying the Chicken Dansak it is by far a superb dish that will make any individuals mouth water, for good reason! Bristol restaurants need to learn from Shadin, thanks guys will be back again next week!

Fantastic food and even better service. We were completely taken care and welcomed from the moment we came through the door! Absolutely brilliant taste with a great selection on the menu! Cannot wait to be going back.

First time there. Staff very polite and friendly. Ordered a chicken ceylon and the flavour was fantastic, not a particularly hot curry as stated, or expected as its one of my favourites. Price a bit higher than I pay usually. Had varying strengths of heat from my usual curry centre just down the road and have always put it down to the chef on the night. Overall enjoyed it but should of been hotter.

About 2/3 weeks ago I ordered a lamb tikka saag a loo (however it’s spelt) and more. Andy on the phone was really helpful and friendly and straight away just set a good tone over the phone. When I picked the food up I was greeted by Andy straight away and it was just like talking to a mate I’ve known for years although I had never met him before this. He was informal and real but also still very professional. The actual curry itself was amazing and had some really strong flavours, the vegetable rice tasted a bit different and almost fried but was still nice although I do prefer it how it usually comes but maybe this was a one off? The garlic keema Nan was perfect and had a good amount of meat (there’s nothing worse then buying a keema Nan and pulling all the meat out in one small tear) I also ordered a single portion of onion Bahjis. I’m quite fussy with onion bhajis as I like them crispy but still moist but it seems like the majority of curry houses make their onion bhajis really greasy and stodgy but these were perfect! Will definitely be ordering again, maybe even tonight if I feel too tired to cook after work🤣 (I’m 99% sure it was Andy although I didn’t get his name but my dad is a regular and after describing him to my dad he’s sure it was Andy)

First visit here today. The best madras I've ever tasted. I've had hotter but never with the balance of flavours like this, the owner John made us feel extremely welcome. Just like being at home!! They have an open kitchen so you can see your food being prepared for you. Absolutely faultless. It's byo for drinks and the food prices are very reasonable. 11 out of 10. Well done guys keep up the good work. It was the first visit it definitely won't be the last!! See you next week!!

Some bad reviews but we've never had a problem. Food is delicious and good size portions, you never go away feeling hungry, and you can take your own booze. Reasonable prices too. Yum.

Such a lovely curry - i tried both Lamb Rogan Josh and tikka massala. Unlike most indians the curries were not drownded in oil! Highly reccomend. They also put in extra poppadams, chutney, bhajjji etc

My parent go weekly for a curry said they found shadin i said i need 2 come with them to try it so i did had a jalfrezi one of the best i have ever had i always go for a chicken curry normally the chicken is hard never had a curry cooked with such tender chicken and andi was the co owner i met could not of made us feel much more at home good food is always nice but you wont get the caring touch anywhere else that u get at shadins great food great guys never felt that welcome anywhereforgot 2 mention portion size a hell of a lot of food for the money
