Reviews of TGI Fridays - Cribbs Causeway
D. W.
Lovely time. Good booking system, got straight to a table. Staff felt a little new as our waiter kept forgetting stuff, but was very friendly and apologetic. Food was cooked well and good value for money. The large cocktail was a lovely touch, as it lasted the whole meal unlike most cocktails
S. C.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Nice clean and tidy. Toilets clean tidy too.
Nice portions food was nice.
Food nice and hot quickly
H. P.
Food was delicious and served promptly. Great atmosphere and I cannot stress how fantastic our server was! A true credit to the customer service industry, she was highly attentive ensuring our drinks were promptly refilled and also polite when checking up on how the meals were. Molly D keep smashing it! Will definitely be returning thanks to her 😊 Would recommend to all who need somewhere to catch up with friends and family.
J. Y.
We waited 10 minutes for a table - every single member of staff walked past us and not one person said hello or welcome.
When we eventually got seated, beer was flat and warm.
If it wasn’t for absolutely excellent service at the table from Molly D, and decent food from the chefs, this would certainly be a 1-star review.

After shopping at Cribbs, reserved a table ( on the day within a few hours of the desired time) at 4.30pm for an early dinner. Fairly busy inside, with lots of families, we were shown to our table. Ordered our drinks and food at the same time has had to wait a while to order. Our drinks arrived fairly promptly, however took about an hour for our food to arrive, by which time we were pretty ravenous as none of us had had lunch and this was our early dinner. The food was nice and hot and really tasty, so was worth the wait. I had the non alcoholic flamingo which was delicious and refreshing! Deffo recommend if you're not drinking.

Party of 5 evening meal with drinks and starters. Average quality food similar to fast food, nothing exceptional but ok. Portions were medium to small surprising for a US chain.
Service was good and fast.
Very loud music - we had to shout to hear each other.
With 25% student discount we paid £130 which is OK price with cocktails. Without discount slightly expensive for what it is.
Would not be my first choice.
m. p.
We Ordered 1 X starter to share and 2 x main course, both came at the same time. Kinda puts you off a bit..
t. g.
The food was lovely, but disappointed with the fact we had to case up our kids main courses. Also had been told the carrot/cucumber/apple pots on kids meals are ready made up so we couldn't just have carrots. When kids meal did arrive we were told that they were just making up the kids pots!!! Also they only had carrots and cucumber to go in it 🤔 There just wasn't the happy, friendly vibe from staff at all on this visit which we were very disappointed with as we don't eat out much
L. S.
All 5 meals cooked perfectly. Great staff too. Always helpful.
J. F.
Was very pleased with my meal, steak cooked to perfection, which is a good indicator how good the chef is. However we were a bit dissapointed in the sevice. Which is not a bad relection on the 2 woman serving. They did their best & were very attentive, just not enogh staff. Which resulted in long waits to be dealt with & between courses.
C. D.
Staff were lovely and meal was ok but onion rings were cold so sent back. No strawberries for milkshakes. Unlike others it didnt have much of an atmosphere so felt more of a rush to eat up and go
C. B.
Mon - Thurs 2 course for £18. Had Cheese and bacon Potatoe skins starter and the half rack of ribs with legendary sauce and an Appletiser. Seated fairly quickly, waiting staff were attentive and polite, smiling and more than happy to be of service. Enjoyable meal and catch up qith a friend before a movie. Cool decorations, cool "retro" memorobilia. Very good experience and will definitely return 👍
M. D.
I have dined in the Cribbs Causeway branch a few times and I must say, once I was served by Tia and another time by Tre. Tia was so polite and kept us comfortable throughout. She's a great reassuring waitress. I hope she serves me again.
I dined in TGI recently and was served by a polite and accommodating young man called Tre. It was my lunchbreak so I didn't have much time. This young man ensured I received my lunch on time as I am a school teacher. He was so polite and kept me informed.
Both brilliant employees that are a credit to TGI.

Really good. Social distancing measured were adhered to. You have to pre book, I did this on the website as I had problems with the app. You now have to put in card details to secure your booking.
There is a limited menu.
Food was good. Drinks were good.
Service wasn't as good as It used to be. I think its going to take a bit of time for the servers to get used go serving again. As they forgot to bring cutlery and we had to ask after our food had arrived, and no one came over to offer a re-fill for our drinks and we couldn't get the attention of the server as he was so busy.
V. R.
It's my first time having the loaded potato skins, fried mozzarella and spicy hot wings and OMG I will go back for more. Loved it
P. R.
Excellent food I really enjoyed my rack of ribs was my wife's 40th Birthday she really enjoyed herself
A. H.
They were very busy as it was Father's Day but we still received great service and tasty meals. The waitress apologised for the wait although nobody seemed to be complaining as the atmosphere inside was cheerful.
M. B.
Always good food with fast attentive service.
Returned 14/01 for fillet steak. Lovely food and fast service. Booked ahead would have had to wait 90 minutes otherwise. See medium cooked 7 oz fillet picture for quality.
A. H.
Hostess grunted at us, batman couldn't have gone any slower if he tried only 1 customer in front of us, we were given a 20 minute wait for a table (restaurant was 2/3's empty) and and we got our table before bar service. Waitress was good, did delicious though one or two choices not available.
Update:
TGI Thank you for your response though you miss the point. A 20 minute wait is not a problem happy to wait if we haven't booked. It's rude staff and lazy staff that wind me up and having experienced 2 members of your team fitting that category on my recent visit. It takes nothing to be polite and welcoming, the restaurant was not busy by any stretch of the imagination. And with only 2 customers at the bar rather than ignoring us for 20 minutes what will it have taken to say I will be with you in a minute.
C. G.
Nice nostalgic feeling returning to TGI's. Food not as good as once was but better than many mid-range eateries. A little overpriced but we still enjoyed it.
Z. R.
Came here a few weeks ago, whilst the food was ok though a little overpriced, the service really was slow. . It took an hour and a half to get two courses to the table, we won't be returning.
P. A.
Food was amazing! Service was amazing but the cost is ridiculous! The place was pretty much empty aswell bar a couple of people..
D.
Sadly despite loving TGI food, the service at this particular one has been a let down each time I have visited.
Wrong orders, slow to arrive and just not the usual Fridays feel.
A. P.
Food was great, had the Friday's double glazed burger - very nice.
Just one quibble which stopped the experience being 5 stars;
We booked a table and got there 15 minutes early, granted it was quite busy but there were tables free. We were told we had to wait until our booking time, even though other customers that had not booked were being offered the free tables while we waited. Anyway, once seated the service was good, food was great, so all in all a nice experience.
S. A.
Very good food but was let down with howant items were missing, just kept coming to table stating they haven't got things after 4 attempts we got there
R. D.
Nice cleen place. Staff were very nice. Food was nice but the chicken wings starters is not worth the money.
J. E.
Food was nice but cleanliness was poor toilets blocked covered in pee back of doors covered in dust so oveusley not been cleaned in a while, staff where good
m. a.
Lovely it was they was really nice
The staff gave my autistic son good evening to remember for his birthday so thanks for that
S. T.
Lovely food at great prices, friendly happy staff.
The jack daniels sauce is a must
F. D. d. M.
Had a great experience, my waitress Zoe was really nice and the food was excellent.
D. M.
Very good service from the waiter and manager who dealt with allergy menus 5/5.
Was slightly disappointed in the quality of food for the price.
Menu made the food sound amazing but when it arrived it seemed a little underwhelming.
Most probably, not specific to this restaurant but, more in regards to American chain food.
Food was still good and enjoyable - no issues in terms of hygiene or safety
E. M.
Lovely meal lovely waitress only thing I would say was it was a little cold in there
R. T.
I do love visiting TGI. Had 3 courses the food was amazing with the exception of the garlic bread there was so much garlic it was hard to eat so left most of it. The drinks arrived only a fee moments before the starters which was a little annoying. with the exception of the server who bought our food out the one who took our order was rude and had an attitude like we were an inconvenience asking for anything especially when asked for cutlery as there wasn't any on the table.
K. H.
Had to wait 2 hours for our hen party food, despite we booked our table.!
Or server Nathan was an absolute star. Very polite, professional and put in a very challenging situation which he dealt with exceptionally. We'll done Nathan 👏.
Management need to staff the restaurant adequately for the amount of bookings. It's not fair for servers to take the flack for understaffing issues, they work very hard. Once again we'll done Nathan, coping under extreme pressure.
D. P.
Stopped here for lunch on a Wednesday. When I booked I asked for 2 high chairs. Still had to request 2 high chairs for the table on arrival. For some reason we were see seated right next to another table of 4 (in a mostly empty restaurant).
The waitress spoke really quietly which made ordering a little awkward.
The food took a long time to arrive. Especially for how quiet the restaurant was. The kids menu says "All our dishes come with tasty sticks of apple, cucumber and carrot" but neither of the kids meals did. Our onion rings were cold. I did notice that they brought out onion rings to the table next to us 5 minutes earlier (that they didn't order) so I suspect these were the same ones just brought back out.
Excluding the onion rings the food we did have was generally what you would expect from Fridays but the service let it down.
Probably wouldn't come back with so many other options at cribbs causeway.
M. G.
No fault with the staff but a few points of negativity:
- Anything other than a burger feels like it is very poor value for money with everything being expensive right now I would expect an immaculate experience for the prices charged.
- Our party went during a non-peak time to get some quiet socializing in and of all the space in the restaurant every other party got sat next to each other. Kind of dissapointing when 3/4 of all other tables were empty, there is plenty of space to seat people and i undertand there is probably a cleaning strategy to this.
But it felt very convery belt cattle pen esque. It felt like the restaurant was saying "here's your seat, eat and f*** off". In all if i went at a non peak time i wouldnt expect to be sat around other customers in a restaurant of this size (there were about 5 other parties all sat in each others immediate vicinity).
Like i said no fault with the staff but the points for the resraurant would be:
- please review meal prices for non burger meals.
- please consider sitting parties appart during non busy times.
F. s.
Our cutlery was filthy. Food stuck on the back of the forks. We had to get it changed.
N. R.
The young lady who served us was wonderful, such a shame we had to make changes. No beef burgers, and choice of diet drink limited to coke so those of us who don't drink it lose out... No diet or sugar free sprite, lemonade too, oh only a few starters off the menu and no cream at all. Very let down. So I would definitely think about where to eat next time.
If you are thinking of going ask if things are off the menu first before you order a drink.
A. T.
We went to TGIs to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service was great, the drinks were lovely, but there were 2 hairs in my burger. And not head hairs. It was gross. The waitress couldn't have been kinder, she was lovely, but it kind of ruined the moment. It's sad because I had been really looking forward to going.
G.
The whole place looked a bit on the grubby side but our server April made up for that, such a lovely genuine girl who couldn't do enough for us!!
k. s.
Has a real buzz about the place. Food was OK, could be presented better. Disappointing welcome on site on the day I attended. Had a booked table but was asked to wait at the bar, which was unmanned. There was loads of booths and tables free, so why did I have to wait, no explanation offered.
Waitress service on the day was good and efficient once seated.
C. D.
Prices have shot up. Asked about the size of a dish, not told much detail. Only good thing still unlimited soft drinks.
W. B.
Lovely variety of food and cocktails! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The restaurant was clean with interesting American themed decor!
a. P.
Everyone in my party had a good meal and enjoyed it. Myself I found my burger very dry and bland.. shame as everything else was spot on.
s. b.
Don't you just love the evenings that weren't planned and just happen. First time in TGI bristol. Amazing. Great staff great drinks. Felt like a rock star
massive car park. located near vue cinema.
please like this review if you find it helpful
thank you
L. C.
Absolutely gorgeous food, short staffed but did brilliant.Definately be going again.
K. A.
Overpriced , really slow service , every thing arrived at different times. Kids food was small for the price.
D. A.
Fantastic food. I haven't been to one in years and the food has changed Alot in a good way. It's expensive but worth it😋🧆🥩🍻 …
l. c.
Service was perfectly fine but the food was overpriced for how bland it was. The price hike is unjustified.
G. H.
Just popped in post cinema trip and shared some nice loaded potato skins. One of us had a cocktail and the driver had a milkshake. They were nice although somehow don't taste quite the same without a straw. Staff were friendly but not as over the top as can be the case with TGI's.
J.
Good service. Tasty food, particularly the famous Jack Daniels sauce.
Not cheap though and could do with a few more vegetarian options (e.g. halloumi burger) to cater for everyone.
S. M.
Went there on the first day we could eat inside again (May 17th) and it was amazing. The food was hot and fresh. We asked for a gluten free menu and the waitress went through it with us. They regularly checked on us and asked for refills etc but not too frequent that it was annoying. I feel like the staff might remember us because we were the last ones in that night because I’m an infuriatingly slow eater. The staff were very accommodating, patient and friendly. Will definitely come back
A. T. (.
I really wanted to like it here, but it missed the mark by a lot.
1. The server was a nice young lady. However she just was a bit rubbish. She wasn't very tentative and seemed to be absent for long periods of time. When she was bringing any food or drink, she was already turning away...... even before the last item was on the table. It felt like she just wanted to be anywhere else. Don't get me wrong, she was a polite young lady...... just not right to serve tables in my opinion.
2. The food took AGES to arrive. There were people that arrived after us that got their stuff well before us. If the server was anywhere near by I'd have at least asked for an ETA. AWOL?
3. When the food did arrive it was really underwhelming. Only warm rather than hot. I'll be honest, I was on a cheat day from my diet. I just ate it and wanted to go.
I suspect this all is just a minor blip. Covid has been long and hard. We are all out of practice.
For that I've adder a star take it 3 instead of 2.
W. H.
Haven't had a TGIs for ages so as staying away for work and was near thought I'd pop in. Greted well and instantly got seated. A chap came and took my order after a couple minutes and he was very pleasant. The food was delicious.
Down points, my main came out within about 5 minutes of my starter so was still eating it! Told them just to leave. Steak was medium rare, I wanted rare (tbh I didn't complain as will eat a medium rare).
Upon completion of my meal I was unable to grab anyone's attention so went back to the till area. Was almost 10 minutes I waited until I had to go and find someone to pay, I genuinely could have walked out without paying!
Sort the staff's attention a bit then could be a 4 🌟
P. T.
My family and I had a meal there and we enjoyed it.
S. C.
Lovely foos and good value. When we went, they had 2 courses for £18.
P. H.
Great birthday meal on a Friday afternoon. + free dessert for myself
c. s.
Was seen to by Bel.
Service was quick, she was attentive, got me my stuff promptly, and seemed to care that everything went right- which is all you need for good service.
Although the restaurant layout could be improved, because the space looks imtimidating when it's full.
I would come back for the food and service. (including the easy booking and well mannered host)
I love the vegan burger, only wished there were more plant based options! But that's for the higher ups to get on with!
Thanks Bel, will tip you next time when I bring change. :)
R.
The food was wonderful, our waiter Patrick did an incredible job and kept us all happy and involved himself with us. Definitely will come again in the future!
S.
Great food! Was a bit slower than usual but I imagine that was because of covid so understandable. Very hot inside, could do with ac!
J. C.
Been going here for years, the quality is slowly declining. To top it off when I last visited they had removed all normal mayo for vegan mayo. I get that not everyone eats meat (at a prodominently meat restaurant) but to not have any normal mayo baffles me. The vegan mayo is tastless. You should have a choice. However my choice is now to eat elsewhere.
B.
Food took a very long time to come out after we had ordered. The top half of the burger bun was dry and hard as if it had been left to dry out under a heat lamp. I really used to like TGI's many years ago but it seems like it is not as good as it used to be...... Perhaps it was just an off day......
A. G.
This TGI's is servers very nice food most of the time there are off days also the service can be 50/50 some times iv been and its super other times its a 1 star on service overall though its a good experience
L. S.
Good service. Good food. Staff were very good when I asked if they has a different bun that didn't have sesame on it.
N. W.
We waited along time to even order drinks, however the waitress was lovely, which made up for it... we had pre booked and it wasn't that busy. It was also a 16th Birthday party, which I had told them about and was hoping they would sing happy birthday. They didn't...
S. S.
Amazing restaurant. Can't believe it's got so low stars.... The food was really good and the server - Chloe was very nice! Only dropped one star because the food arrived a little bit later than expected but we went there 1,5 h before closing time so this might have been the reason. Other than this - highly recommend.
M. M. r.
Amazing place to eat food was absolutely incredible table service and staff were on point it is the perfect place for lunch, date night or family meal my only problem was the coke zero was completely flat otherwise would of been 5 stars 👌 …
K. S.
The service was good, but I stop there. When ordering the food, we the customer should have asked "what do you have available from the menu?"
s. t.
Lovely food and our waitress was very nice
A. S.
Pleasantly surprised by the most recent visit to this TGIs. Service was efficient and freindly and the food was pretty good! I had been of the impression that quality was on a bit of a downwards slope for the brand but this visit has caused me to revisit that inclination.
F. G.
Expensive and won't be rushing back. The food wasn't anything special. If you're going for a special occasion and you book online, there is absolutely no point in writing in the notes that its for said special occasion, they pay no attention to it.
D. A.
Staff friendly and good, food was 4 stars when we got what we ordered - we did not order tepid to cool burgers and chips... the replacement food was good and hot.
It must have been hot when it was cooked so why not serve it then rather than leave under a feeble lamp and bring it out late.
The bill was wrong in their favour... no problem to change but glad we checked.
Will still go back as the food choices and quality on a good day are excellent.
R. O.
I visited this evening with my partner for a treat as we have both had big Birthdays within the past couple of days - we didn't pre book.
Although they were busy the wait for the table was only about half an hour, standard wait time. We chose to sit near the bar whilst waiting, this is when we noticed they appeared to be short staffed.
There was a bit of a wait for the starters to come but the waitresses were always there to provide drinks and the time did pass quickly whilst chatting. The food was fantastic- exactly what you'd expect from TGI. The portions were a good size too!
They even sang happy birthday at the end 😄
They were clearly busy throughout our visit but there was always someone happy to help, all of them really happy and smiley. The atmosphere was fantastic - hard to come across this now in most restaurants!
A big thank you to all of the team for making our birthday treat night such a great experience 🥳
B. G.
Great place and food. The atmosphere is great with a lovely American theme. The American theme makes it a different experience than other places with the comfy booths and the bar designed nicely. The food came out fast with a delicious taste! The service was good with all servers greeting us and treating us well. Would highly recommend for either a couple or a whole family.
S. N.
Slaw was disappointing. Blue cheese slaw had no recognisable blue cheese flavour. Ribs were a bit dry. Wings were excellent as was the burger. Overall, for what we had it was very overpriced.
L. E. O. N. B.
Waitress was absolutely fantastic looking after our party of 15. She was a credit to the company. Would make a great manager
I. B.
I seem to remember there being a lot more milkshake options than what we could see. Also service was a bit slow and after we ordered our mountain of menus were just left on the table. Making the table a bit chaotic. Otherwise it was good. Enjoyed the milkshakes we chose
I. C.
The food was very good and quite quick. But the experience was spoiled by a very silly and unnecessary outage of products. No cucumber for one of the mocktails, no strawberries for another drink and one of the desserts was off because of the biscuit served with it was not in stock. Doh! Guys wise up, there is a huge Morrisons so close you can actually see it from the restaurant which, guess what, stocks these items!! Very disappointing.
H. S.
Came here for a friend's birthday. When we arrived there was a small wait for our table but that didnt matter we just had a quick drink at the bar. We were then shown to our table and were looked after by Claire, she was brilliant very friendly and attentive. Food came out in good time and the cocktails were very tasty. Would definitely go again!
S.
Our server, Charlie (10003) was amazing. Really attentive and supportive. We went here for a birthday meal and I took my 5 week old baby, who I am breastfeeding. She made me feel at ease and couldn't do enough for us. She even brought me a slice of cake in a takeaway box which she said I could have with the night feed (We had already had dessert). A real asset to your team and it's good to know I can breastfeed in your restaurant with no issues. I will be returning.
The person who seated us was also very thoughtful and sat us somewhere we could put the car seat and still have enough room to eat.
All in all an amazing experience for a new, first time Mum. The food was excellent as always and the free mocktails were a nice touch. Thank you
T. H.
Just had a fantastic meal with the family. Food was good, service was excellent (vastly improved since my last few visits and it wasn’t bad before) and it’s all Covid safe etc. Really impressed, maybe now the waiting team have the actual time to serve the customers due to the capacity restrictions service has improved? Either way good job.
S. S.
Is a bit overpriced for what you get.
Burger was dry.
Slaw with the ribs was warm and not very nice. Ribs could have had a bit more meat on.
A. C.
Nice experience. Food was good albeit we had to wait for a couple of mins but it was worth it. Overall we had a good time with colleagues.
G. A.
Really enjoyed our visit. Food was awesome waitress was amazing can't remember her name but she dealt with us very well and professionally. We was the table of 6 that didn't stop laughing or messing around. Thanks for joining in on our joke and bringing crayons for one of the lads. Awesome
L. M.
The food was not worth the price they are asking, nor was the service. The kids meals are £6.49 but the size portion was equivalent to a toddlers portion. My 9 year old was still hungry after. The same will my ribs meal, wasn't enough to fill me up.
The waiter we had was inattentive and forgot our refills numerous times and even when we politely reminded him he forgot...which we joked about. Overall not good value for money. The staff are friendly and the management were fantastic that's why I give 4 stars.
G. B.
Top food from this place. I had the Texan 12Oz ribeye and half rack of ribs; I asked for medium-rare but the steak came more medium-welldone. However the steak was still mouthwatering so I didn't mention this to the staff.
Very Good service overall; if a little slow to initially take our order.
Been here many times with friends and will continue to frequent here.
R. D.
Service was great. My son is gluten intolerant and the manager was additionally attentive in ensuring that he had an amazing experience
H. G.
The service was very good. Lots of covid precautions. The ordering on the app is very annoying.
The portion sizes seems to have decreased since my last visit ( before covid) and the prices don't make the meals very good value for money.
Good interior and fun decor
L. G.
Lovely food and served by a fun waitress!! Even received a free slice of cake for my birthday!!
S. B.
Staff were friendly enough but probably not enough of them for the number of customers, so they were all v busy and difficult to gain their attention.
Food was adequate and there was enough of it. Out friend's boys all enjoyed it and that's where it is aimed probably - so families who are looking for a cheap and cheerful meal out.
Sont go there if you want smart, intimate, special occasion, type of experience. It won't happen.
V. J. P.
Great experience for my son's 10th birthday lunch with his friends - thank you Olivia
J. M.
Food was warm to eat was going to complain but was to hungry
D. R.
Good service by the waitress but unfortunately the food was luke-warm and a bit sloppy and took a long time to get to us considering the restaurant wasn't that busy. Short staffed I presume 🤷♂️ …
S. B.
Good food and good ambience. They have a variety of signature dishes. Would love to go again. Good service though they were understaffed at the time.
P. R.
Food was great as usual. Time it took food to come after ordering was too long. We didn't start eating until 1hr and 15mins of sitting down.
K. J.
Tom was good manager give me my food
K. M.
Visited this TGI Fridays tonight and was left a little disappointed. The restaurant was busier than I expected for a Monday evening but the service was very slow and several tables around me had to ask multiple times for their orders to be taken and complained that food was cold. When my starter arrived it too was luke warm as if it had been sat out for a short while before being served. The main on the other hand was perfect and absolutely delicious (sesame chicken strips). Over all an okay visit but wouldn't rush back
V. J.
Expensive but a reasonable burger. Staff were friendly and not too intrusive.

Chicken strips starter was amazing as was the service we received. The warrior burger main was a very good sized portion (too much after that starter) but was let down by the burger pattie being warm rather than hot. It felt like it had been around a while as opposed to being freshly cooked to order. If the burger had been hot it would have been a 5 star review.

Our meal was good, except one of the items off of the menu was missing from our order.
The young female staff members who served us were friendly and helpful.
The most off putting issue though was the blaring music! We could barely hear each other speak.

Rang up and got a really unhelpful person who couldn't accommodate us. It was a weekday lunchtime and undoubtedly not busy. So we went round they weren't busy and had a really lovely meal and fabulous service.

Slow service, I can understand that the restaurant was busy, but several tables that arrived after us received their meals first. One of our meals was cold, the staff dealt with it well, and we weren't charged for it. Not happy about the wait hence three stars.

Second time on here in a few months for different people birthday.. food was good but limited for some reason when we went. Also had no ciders. Guessing due to delivery issues

Amazing ribs and sticky chicken. Waitress gave us the dessert menu but failed to let us know what they didn't have (which, of course... Was what we wanted!)
S. T.
Lovely food, staff went out of their way to make sure our visit was spot on, very pleased all ways round. Good value for money and the sesame chicken is to die for. We will be back.
S. M.
Was a bit better than a wetherspoons I guess. Food was ok, restaurant theme was good but nothing particularly special about it
I. W.
it is nice and tasty food with friendly staff however it is extremely overpriced for what it is. crushed in seating loses marks from my experience. I have been other restraints which are of a similar if not better standard and had three courses and paid less than I did for one. it was a nice experience and there speciality JD sauce I've not tasted before so nothing wrong with the food apart from the price and portion size as was still hungry. not good value for money but a nice experience.

We have visited here before. We where greated at the door and shown our table. Didn't have to wait long to order ( we thought we would be waiting a while as it was very busy) food was pretty fast and tasted amazing. The server was very friendly and making sure we had everything we needed.

Fantastic food and service, loved it.

Our favourite and one of the only remaining chain restaurants we will go to. Always a great environment, great cocktails, great food. Their new app is also very good as you have the opportunity to win free food and drink by playing their games and scratch cards in the app, great idea to keep people going!
P. B.
The food was really good but it was way too loud.. not only was there loads of people screaming which is understandable in a busy restaurant... but they also had the music on full blast and other sounds coming from everywhere which made it difficult to have a conversation over dinner. Other than that I cant complain. Will visit again when it's less busy...

Lovely food and friendly waitress. Served quickly.
M. R.
Great food, cocktails are amazing. Great atmosphere and the interior has a really cool look and layout. And every time we have visited the staff have always been polite and really helpful. Thank you.
C. H.
Great choice and great service although food did seem to take a while although they were busy. Tiny bit expensive.
C. I.
Great vibrant atmosphere and loads of folks enjoying s night out. Our waiter was excellent and charming. Sadly it was rush hour so a long wait for food but it was good.

Very informative. More to discover than I expected. Disappointed that we were not allowed access to the gymnasium. Would have appreciated a free ticket to enjoy that side of the attraction when it is next available.

Tonight we were served by Natalia and she was fantastic, very attentive and couldnt do enough for us. She made our night that little bit better. Thank you Natalia
A. K.
Excellent service and lovely food😊 …

Good value for money ,accommodating to requests

Fries are amaaazing and refills are super good value for money. Has a wide menu but when I ordered sesame chicken it was lukewarm and wasn’t that good. The people working seem super happy and comfortable though!
R. T.
I was very impressed by the service at frankie and bennies. There was a 20-30 minute wait to get a table and the waiting area was up a few steps however due to us being with my bf nan (who struggles to climb stairs) they sat us down right away without hesistation without being asked. Our waitor was also very kind and considerate and he seemed to genuinely care about the customers. Customer service 10 out of 10

Staff were fantastic even when my 10 month old stole my dads steak and threw it on the floor it was replaced with no issue whatsoever. All in all great food and great staff who made you feel welcome from the minute you walked through the door until you left to go home
P. M.
Have a nice lunch but 1'beer not enaf fresh no draft beer I like not to mash quality on bear
D. C.
Excellent system in place for the social distancing.
Very friendly atmosphere and all the staff seemed genuinely happy and welcoming. We had great service and the food quality was great. Looking forward to coming again.

TGIs was pretty solid. A nice treat. Went on a Saturday and it was pretty packed out. Had to pass 30mins at the bar as we hadn't booked.
The staff were up against it but service was good nonetheless. There is no reason not to go again if company suggested it.
H. C.
Lovely food and great service! Staff went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday special!
S. P.
Great experience here today with the kids, staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough. The manager came over to guide me through my gluten allergy and was fantastic, you can tell that a lot of care is taken when it comes to allergies. Always great atmosphere
A. S.
Food was OK they didn't get my order completely right but it wasn't too much of a problem.
S. W.
Lovely food. Staff were pleasant. The only criticism I have is that when we paid the bill, the waiter asked me if I wanted my change. Slightly rude to ask.
S. D.
Food was not worth the price. However, service was good. Waiter was always available.
V. M.
Food is great and their traditional Jack Daniel's sauce is excellent! However I have in several occasions received very slow service and generally have found cleanliness very poor especially within the toilets.
K.
Food was good. We did have a problem with one of our meals but management wasn't interested. Service was quite slow as kept running off to sing happy birthday to people.
L. d. S.
Had a lovely meal here the other day
Was served by a lovely young lady with really long hair I Didn’t catch her name! 🙃
Was really clean. Food was nice
Would come back again
S.
Really good food but they often try and get away with not putting all of the extras on the meals that the menu promises.
Last time my partner ordered a gravy seal and got no gravy and no slaugh, this time my friend was missing the avacado sauce for her chicken. Was yold they'd run out but both times they didn't think to mention it when it came.
J. G.
The food was up to the usual TGI standards, however the service is extremely slow. It's not as if they are under staffed. You just sit there waiting at all stages of the meal. Let's just say if you are going to the cinema next door, have the meal after the film.
R. M.
Not your traditional Sunday lunch.
We where doing some early shopping at The Mall Cribbs Causeway and we really fancied a good burger and we had a bit of time to kill.
We didn't have a reservation and the car park outside TGI Friday's was filling up quickly. But we where pleasantly surprised when we where seated instantly and served quickly. Our drinks came quickly but there was a bit of a delay on the food as we had just ordered behind a very large birthday party. The waitress did apologize about this.
We had 2 JD glazed chicken burgers with sweet potatoes fries and a kids chicken bites. The burger was good, but was it as good from a recent visit to Frankie & Bennie's?? Hmmm not quite!!
We where served by a lovely young lady called Claire, she was very good with our son who was getting a bit impatient, she made up a couple of balloon animals which kept him busy for days.
R. H.
Booked a table 530pm had a 2 course set menu 4 adults 2 children.
30min wait for first course an hour wait for the second.
Not impressed with wait or in truth the food ....no warning of a wait that long ..reason given when i started to complain a oven was not working....will not go there again.
The only reason that saved the night a little, was staff sung happy birthday to my daughter
G. G.
Slow slow slow slow slow slow slow been waiting 55 minutes since order and nothing except the drinks.
The first waitress sent us to a table by the kitchen....maybe they needed help in there ...
If you are in a hurry don't bother to come here for a quick bite.
Aircon on and 12 degrees outside...weird, owner! You can save on your electricity bill big-time.
S. R.
Came in with my wife and children on Tuesday before visiting the cinema and we were pleasantly surprised! Both the waitress and the manager that served us were brilliant and made a real fuss of the kids, food was served piping hot and was delicious.
C. M.
Good food, service was a little poor and chips were cold. Luckily it was just a quick lunch between plans, but I wouldn't hurry back.
A. L.
The food has always been good if a little expensive for some things. Do not come here if you are in a rush. The food I assume is cooked fresh hence the wait. We have had over an hour between walking in and eating.
R. B.
Great service and well cooked food
K. G.
Good menu. We went on a Saturday night pre-cinema, at 5:45. Very busy at that time, Really pays to book online the day before. Plan well, 30 minutes to our first order; the main course. Very friendly staff.
C. S.
I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing. Service is friendly. And it's not a bad price point.
T. T.
Friendly staff they were all very polite
However there’s was just such a long wait for our food the starters was at least 20mins and then the mains another 20/25min wait. The restaurant wasn’t even busy so really there was no excuse
The cocktails were good but the food was nice but the wait was not
K. W.
I think the food here is really good. Glad to see they have updated their menu with vegan options. I would say it's a little bit more expensive than most other chain restaurants but it's yummy food.
J. C.
We love TGI's! Food was good as always. We go with kids but had to ask for colouring /activity pack this time as it wasn't offered (usually is) and we weren't offered anymore drinks after our first. Only minor things but they make a difference.
M.
Food is spot on as always but tonight waited so long for food. 2hours later and we were still eating a main course. The waiter bless him sorry to say just ain't cut out for this job you would ask him something and he would say yes and must have forgot the moment he walked of from the table everytime without fail. He was a nice guy but just not the job for him I think. And mojitio was defiantly without fail the worst one I've ever had if you love mojitos just don't bother with this one its barely worth £2 let alone £6.50. But ye can't fault the food.
S. B.
Visited here for a celebration meal on Saturday, waited 2 hours untill we had anything to eat. Only thing was said upon complaining was “we’re sorry for the wait”. Terrible place, wouldn’t return.
J. H.
Really friendly, welcoming service. Didn't have to wait for a table. Very child friendly. Delicious food, cooked reasonably quickly. Very happy.
M. P.
There were 9 of us in total. The service was excellent as was the food. All our food came out together which was an added bonus as nothing worse than people waiting. Well done TGIs, a great experience.
D. B.
This particular tgi Fridays is in a good location, they have some good ideas with unlimited appertizers and deals. However they don't seem to be able to deliver on them, they only had a handful of appertizer options available when I was there. The prices are a bit more however the quality of the burgers is very good. The sauces are top notch as well. Cocktails are good quality, drink choice is more American. Spacious car parking available as well.
A. S.
Food amazing as always. Service was so slow. Tables that came in after we had ordered and that had two courses had finished and were asking for bill before we got our main
G. H.
The food is lovely and staff are always cheery and helpful when we visit. Just a shame you don't get a lot for your money, prices are expensive but portions are very stingey.
J. S.
Very accommodating staff specially organising two tables for seven people. The waiter was very efficient and friendly. The drinks and food came very quickly.
Overall a wonderful experience.
K. N.
Went on my birthday and it was amazing.
Z. Z.
Great vegan options excluding dessert, fruit is not dessert.
Decent service, could probably turn the lights up a bit. Music at good volume
p.
Main meal was average (burger and chips) with lukewarm fries. Chocolate fudge cake was lovely.
Staff were great 👍 …
M. H.
Really nice time and loved when they did their own birthday song for my little girl.
M.
After a great day, We thought we would have a nice treat dinner on the way home....As always great food and service. Special thanks to server Katie C and the amazing manager Marcus......Thanks guys :-)
E. S.
The food was nice but the service was shocking we ordered drinks two people asked us what we wanted waited ten minutes, our main meal was steak chips and mixed veg I also ordered a side of onion rings the steak chips and onion rings came we had to wait 8 minutes for our veg . Shocking is all I can say
C. L.
Amazing food, good service, would recommend.
