Lovely meal here was a half hour wait but to be expected being a busy Friday evening. Drinks promptly served to table as ordered on app. Only 4 not 5* as they didn't bring out the dessert until I chased after 20 minutes. A lovely location and lovely food..we will definitely be back. So wasn’t expecting much from this sizzling pub, needed somewhere to go for last min family meal, booked very last minute but they managed to fit us in even though they were quite busy, only short wait on food but this was explained to us on ordering. I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the staff were, how clean it is, the quality of the food and the biggest surprise of all was my total bill was under £50 and there was 4 of us and I even had two pints!! Will be back very soon for the next birthday celebration.

This was our first visit, it is a busy spot and we were able to get in after first phoning. Social distancing adhered too and the food was nice but just needed some seasoning. The desserts were lovely, the menu has loads of options and is well priced we would visit again.

Had a lovely lunch time meal there today. Plenty of choice and very reasonable. Lots of special food deals especially for the over 60s. Great portion sizes too. Coffees just over £1! Staff were friendly and efficient. A little gem!

Well yet again my flabber has never been so gasted.lt was a last minute decision to book a table as the restaurant of choice could not accommodate.The Lamb seems very friendly,not a pub l have visited in 40 years( no slight on the establishment but l have my favourites).l was so pleasantly surprised as l said friendly.......11 people l spoke to who l know,speaks to me volumes, that! The staff were helpful and efficient,the meal was plentiful and very good quality.To cap it all,being a distant cousin of Scrooge,the prices were delightfully inexpensive.l think another visit will be the order of the day.Must mention on to the StapleHill Portcullis,another well run establishment to watch the overly good MIKE BESS sing and play such good guitar.Please book him again,good set,plenty of appreciable followers and a good night for all.In conclusion,The Lamb,The Portcullis and the talented Mike Bess........what a excellent night.

Great place to eat... The set up for covid safety is very well set up. It works very well. The staff are always friendly, the pub is clean and the food is lovely. I’ve visited a few times now and I’ve never had a bad experience, the food is always lovely and nicely portioned. I’d definitely recommend this pub to anyone who wants a good meal at a fair price. All the staff are doing a great job especially during these difficult times. They have a great team going at the lamb Inn Mangotsfield.

Booked a table for 6.45 on Friday. It was clear from the start that there was a problem ordering from the app. Mark and his 2 staff were absolutely brilliant, using pen and paper!! to take our order for drinks and food. The staff could not do enough for everyone and just did not stop. Our food was excellent which considering the problems they were experiencing was a minor miracle. Once again I would like to thank Mark and his team for a great service during a very difficult time. We will, of course, be back.

Very nice pub... with a nice selection of food and drink. The staff were polite and friendly. The car park is very small but there is public road spaces all round the area. It was very clean I cant fault the experience... the ONLY reason I give 4* is the lack of things for kids to do meaning parents have to put up with... I'm bored style statements.

We went here on a Saturday night and it was fairly busy. Decor is clean and tidy and falls in what you would expect from a chain pub. The menu is the same as all Sizzler pubs but the food was cooked/reheated quite well. The staff were friendly & the service was quite quick.

Reasonably good food and value for money. Only downside is not as clean as it can be ...specifically cutlery looks most of the time like it's been just rinsed under water, not put through dish washer. Toilets look also dated, would benefit from slight renovation.

Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was good. We were a large party of 10 adults and 6 children and the staff coped very well. The bonus of only £1 per children's meal before 7pm was welcome too.

Food good, some of the staff were really good, friendly and helpful, but one and she seemed to be in charge, for some reason took a dislike to our group and was abrupt and discourteous. We were a group of cousins average age 72 plus last surviving uncle 93. But we enjoyed ourselves none the less.
