Reviews of Toro Noodle Bar

Good service, amazing food. Music and environment are decent enough. Definitely will come again soon for lunch.
M. H.
Generous portions, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere

The taiwanese fried chicken noodle was very good! The chicken was fried perfectly, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside.
A. C.
Authentic, savory and amazingly delicious. Everything we had here was cooked to perfection.
Wide variety of Chinese food here and worth multiple visits. Only here for a few days and will try to make it back before I leave. Go try it out!

Quite nice Chinese restaurant in town but don’t expect the service

So glad this place is back! Such good tasting, authentic food with some of the best service in Bristol. Been spending some time in 98 next to it so means I'll have less room to move from food to drinks/shisha!

This place is amazing. Make sure you go with lots friends or a huge appetite as the portions are pretty generous
N. B.
We go here regularly. The food is excellent and very authentic. The Chong Ching barbecued fish is particularly delicious

Well, as a Chinese, I'd like to say that their food is delicious and the environment is good as well.
However, you need to wait for a long time for food, and the price is somewhat too high.

Very nice food ! Great service

Great place to get spicy hot food...great portion for sharing.

Used to be my favourite Chinese restaurant in Bristol, unfortunately, no longer. The portion sizes have decreased tremendously (as well as a hefty price raise) since my first visit in late 2017, to the point where it is actually stingy. The food is still very good and authentic, but doesn't provide the enjoyable eating experience like it used to.

The service of Toro is brilliant!
Today I ordered a takeout from Toro and I asked for little spicy. They made a mistake and delivered a super spicy one. After I communicate with the restaurant, the manager apologized for his mistake and send me a new one for free.
I have ordered so many times at Toro, and the taste, as well as the service, is so brilliant. Absolutely great restaurant! Personally recommend it to you.

When I walked by here this afternoon my curiosity was immediately sparked as the place was full of asian people, which in my experience is usually a good sign. I checked out their website later to see what kind of stuff they did, and was kind of confused as it seemed they did a bunch of fusion stuff mixing up all kinds of different asian cuisines, which in my experience is often a bad sign. I couldn't help but walking in and eyeing the place this evening though, and when I saw what was on the tables I was pretty much sold: big super aromatic smelling bowls of hotpot of all kinds. Me and my friend had the Sichuan spicy hotpot. We asked if they had a vegetarian option and it turned out you could just mark what you wanted in there on a handy piece of paper. You could also mark how spicy you want it. I'd selected "normal" as I like to think I can handle some spice. When the waiter came to collect our choices he advised me - not in a condescending way - to maybe opt for "mild" in stead as he could always make it more spicy for us should we want that. Turns out he gave exactly the right advise. The mild variant was still pretttttyyyy spicy, definitely ample of spice for me and my friend even though both of us are quite used to spicy food. I'm glad the waiter advised us on this. Anyway the hotpot we ended up getting was amazing. Super aromatic, everything cooked just right, and we even got a free side-dish which was a spicy cucumber salad and was also really tasty. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

This is my time visit yesterday at Toro Restaurant in Parkstreet Bristol. We had a seafood soup and Seafood with Japanese Tofu it was delicious. We dont eat meat and it’s difficult to get good seafood dishes, we are happy with the customer service and quality of food. I will definitely visit soon.

Fantastic menu, fantastic staff, great cocktails and even now a takeaway service. Toro offers an incredibly large menu but all food that we've tried has been well executed.
Try their Laksa, or if you're feeling brave, go for the Waterfall Beef: it's the hottest dish on the menu and is packed to the brim with chillies, including seeds!

The food was really great and the staff were helpful. Although beware the pepper corns that come with the gravy as those left a very bad taste in the mouth. But overall good!

Noodles are good, stir fried veg is just ok. Hot pot is great!! Good for meat eaters, limited for veggies. A bit pricy compared with other Chinese restaurants

Just happen to be walking by and noticed that there was a new chinese on park st!! was feeling a bit hungry so wanted to check it out.
got a warm welcome from the waitress and she sat us down near the window. they have a very extensive menu with hundreds (literally) of choices to choose from.
i ordered a 'lak sa soup noodle with egg noodle, chicken and beef' and my friend decided to try the 'dream pork' which was recommended by the waitress. while we were waiting we checked out their facebook, good to see its very active and lots of posts! will have to try the japanese tofu dish which we saw in the photo album next time we come!
the food came out fairly quickly, portions were huge! my noodles were cooked really well and the lak sa was really tasty! the dream pork was nice and spicy, cooked well and was so delicious!! our bill come to just £21 including two unlimited refill cokes! such a bargain!
defo recommended!!

Amazing authentic food! Also great deals for karaoke. If you're looking at having a night of singing and drinking I highly recommend Toro

Went there for lunch over the weekend, food was quite good. Service wasn't great. For some reason they give different menus to different people.
Oh and the table was sticky.
M. W.
Very authentic Chinese cuisine, with an English menu for more familiar dishes. It's an adventure ordering from the authentic menu, but unless you know what you want the English one might be safer.
C. K.
Had a good experience in here with my kids. The food came quick and the customer service is just good. Prices are reasonable.
L. W.
Service is by far one of the quickest in the world and the quality isn't compromised at all. Authentic Chinese dishes, made just right. Recommend 10/10 lads
A. M.
Excellent authentic food with more than a touch of heat! Very friendly. Quick service. Good quantity.
L. A.

What lovely people! We popped in with really strict dietary requirements and they were very accommodating. Even chased us down the street as had forgotten to give us a £1
C. G.
Good food and friendly staff
L. V.
Authentic chinese cuisine, modern decor and good variety of dishes.
R. C. N.
Go to place for all who love spicy spicy Szechuan style cooking! Usually very packed! Their water cooked fish is bomb
D. C.
Very nice chinese food.
Y. H.
A really good Chinese restaurant serving the authentic Chinese cuisine. Compared to other Chinese restaurants which focus more on Cantonese cuisine, you can have more options here.
A. B.
Excellent food and great servings. Authentic Chinese food. Not the cheapest place, but very much worth it.
B. L.
Get a wok between a group of friends rather than the set meals on the menu as the combination of foods you can have are amazing. I'm sure the set meals are good too
M. W.
The honey and garlic ribs are to die for and the customer service is excellent
A. J.
Food was great when I first try, it was five months ago. Now I feel the quality is becoming lower, too salty and not fresh.
M. N.
Very nice food, but the portion size is rather small
T. D.
Good fast service and great food! The noodles were huge, they were happy to put the rest in a take out box.
P. P.
Good food. Quick service. Reasonable prices. Happy customer.
