Blanche is the most lovely bakery/ cafe. The food and drinks are delicious, and the staff are the most lovely and welcoming. I’ve been here a few times and everyone is so so lovely, I could not recommend this place enough!

I visited with my wife and 3 year old daughter for a vegan hot chocolate and ended up also eating 2 donuts and a cupcake!! The hot chocolate was lovely, topped with vegan whipped cream and marshmallows. The donuts were delicious and the cupcake moist and flavoursome. I will be frequenting this establishment on a regular basis. Also very cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.

The best cupcakes, hot chocolates and vegan sandwiches in Cardiff. A super bright and clean little place with great atmosphere and the most lovely staff! We are really looking forward to what they do over the next year as they've got off to such a strong start. It's our new favourite place in Roath.

The donuts and coffee are so good! My wife and I have made Blanche part of our Saturday morning routine. We go to the nearby farmer's market and then stop off at Blanche for a real treat. The Earl Grey donut and the Pina Colada ones are stunning and many of the others are really tasty.

This place is a millennial pink dream. It's soft and glowy and a lovely place to escape the outside world for a moment. The vegan donuts are to die for (I tried one with coconut fake 'bacon' and another with lotus biscoff paste) and I recommend the lemonades. As a part time wheelchair user, I can't give it full stars because it is not wheelchair accessible. The staff with help open the front door for you but there is a small step that is hard without assistance and the toilet is too small for even a small chair. That said, it's still a place I'll be coming back to.

Delicate decor and amazing doughnuts and coffee's, I'm not vegan but these are honestly the best doughnuts I've ever had, the french toast is my favourite 😁 coffee is creamy and perfectly brewed, the staff are always happy and very welcoming, highly recommend

Staff are polite and friendly. There are only a small number of tables so you may want to book ahead. The hot chocolate and doughnuts I has were absolutely delicious. Even if you're not a vegan, this place is a must visit.

I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed! Tasty food with a great selection, you wouldn't even know that it's all vegan!

A beautiful looking place with delicious food. The savoury options were great and I’ll be heading back to sample the delicious looking burgers but the doughnuts were stand out. The flavours were amazing and they tasted as good as they look. Fantastic oat milk flat white sealed the deal as my favourite place of the week. The staff were also really friendly and polite, so make sure you have some change with you for a big tip.

The BEST cakes I’ve ever eaten - perfect texture, amazing flavour selection, and they look beautiful too. The new coffee shop on Mackintosh Place is a great space and the coffees and toasted sandwiches are brilliant too. I can’t understand how anyone could give this business a one-star review!!

Love Blanche, so happy there back again! Opening hours are a bit confusing sometimes, so make sure you check they're open before you go, but definitely worth it! 🍩

Delicious! So much choice in cupcake flavours I sometimes get all just to try them! The donuts are HEAVEN and the sandwiches all have incredible vegan fillings! This bakery has my favourite tea too, try Jasmine Pearls!! People complaining about the price should keep in mind that all the products are vegan and cruelty free as well as some being gluten free.

The food and coffee here is to die for, honestly the best tofu I've ever had in my life and probably the best oat milk coffees I've had in the U.K. The staff obviously know what they're doing and you can tell its made with love. The girl who served me was so nice she even gave me her hair-tie when I mentioned I'd lost mine - and was so friendly. Cute decor and comfy vibe - love the pink vibe. Only criticism would be that instead of using paper cups for their fries they could potentially use washable cups as more eco - friendly, but that def didn't deter from the experience ;) Def worth your time going here!!!

Excellent food paired with friendly and competent staff have made my various visits to Blanche an absolute pleasure. I would highly recommend everything sold in store but I must say that the doughnuts and freshly prepared coffee are personal favourites of mine, especially on those days where you need a nice pick me up! I honestly can't recommend this place highly enough to anyone, vegan or otherwise looking for impeccable food and a modern, inviting atmosphere. I look forward to visiting again very soon!

Amazing little coffee shop. Cakes are super tasty, couldn't believe they were vegan (not at all dry or bland). Coffee is available with all the milks too, and is excellently made. Wall is an Instagram dream! Only thing that lets it down is the limited and strange seating, I would expect the walk in trade is what forces this!

Popped into Blanche Bakery for a light lunch on a wet welsh winters day. We had a selection of their vegan toasties (the 'chicken' , 'steak' and pesto). All were delicious and generously stuffed (the oozy vegan mozzarella was particularly good). The owners were also lovely and chatty and we left with satisfied bellies, ready to take on the rain! Highly recommended!

I honestly don’t know where to start, from the second you enter Blanche you just feel so at ease and so at home. I would feel just as comfortable sat on my own as I would with a big group of friends. Their hot chocolate (get it with a shot of salted caramel, whipped cream and marshmallows) is the best I have E V E R had, I swear I’m always thinking about it, and I’m not even vegan! I also don’t understand how anyone can say the food there is overpriced - the cakes don’t cost any more than what you would spend getting from-a-packet, boring bulk-bought cakes from Starbucks, so why wouldn’t you pay that for fresh, unique and frankly, incredible products from an independent business that’s been built from love? A very strange thing to say, all a bit odd... regardless, I cannot recommend Blanche enough to anyone, vegan or not. They’re so accommodating to your needs and it’s just an all-round wonderful place to be.
