1st time eating at Five guys tonight and we were not disappointed. The server was SO helpful, explaining how the burgers and toppings worked, the sizes of the fries and the fact you could mix the milkshake flavours. The food was amazing, just wish I had enough room to eat it all! We would definitely recommend.

I meant to write this a couple of weeks ago. I came in with my 2 children. The food was absolutely stunning and came with tons of chips, however the reason I'm writing is because your sever Alex was fantastic, he could see that I was up to my neck in sorting my little boy and couldn't do enough for me. I even forgot to buy myself a drink and he helped me sort it quickly. What an absolute legend of a guy, I work in a restaurant myself and I would hire him in a second!! Fantastic service, above and beyond his job!

Service is always excellent. I usually buy their veggie sandwich and the twice cooked fries which are 😋. Super tasty But l give three stars because they don't do vegan cheese, the cheese they do is processed anyway, so l don't see why they can't accommodate those who can't or won't eat dairy cheese. They don't do shakes that are non-dairy either. And there are enough products on the market to allow them to incorporate that into their menu. I also gave three stars because l paid £9.50 for a bacon burger. I asked for the "free" veg extras. But the burger was like cardboard. Certainly not worth £9.50.

I got a collection from here last week. It was quite busy as it's right next to a cinema and Hollywood bowl so I did expect it to be quite busy. We had to wait 15 to 20 minutes just a for a milkshake. The food was still nice. I would prefer the other five guys in Cardiff centre for quickness.

Ordered online for click and collect, online process was very simple. Attended the Red Dragon Centre to collect and it was fine, just wasn't very clear where I was supposed to go to collect or if I had to tell someone I was there. I ended up queueing at the normal till where I was immediately asked if I was dining in or taking out. I told the lady on the till that I'd placed an online order and she took me name, then shouted it into the kitchen to tell them that I was there. She asked me to go back out and wait outside at the lit up five guys sign so I did. Only had to wait a couple of minutes before someone came over and gave me my order. Positive, ordinary experience, no issues with anything. The order was correct, I'd ordered a regular fries and a chocolate/banana milkshake. Small order as I just wanted some treat sides to go with a homemade lasagne I'd already done at home. This was my first experience with Five Guys - I was very surprised at the size of a regular fries, it could've easily served two people! How many does a large fries serve? 🤣 I know to get small now. The milkshake was to die for to be fair, I had banana and chocolate with the extra whipped cream on top. It was sweet and chocolatey and thick and delicious. All in all good experience and fab food, just would have appreciated either being told when I ordered online or a sign in the store to tell me how/where to collect a click and collect order. I still don't actually know what to do next time. Definitely recommend the food, although I can't speak for the burgers obviously. I'd like to try again definitely.

The staff are friendly the restaurant is very very clean. The coke cola freestyle machine is out of this world orange tasting coke or lime flavour which is like sprite coke. I like the cherry flavour which is better than normal cherry Coke. Each drink has amazing smell to them. The burgers are very good but definitely over hyped and i think that hype ruined it for me.

Very friendly staff member took our details for track and trace unlike many businesses where they expect you to fill in the form yourself. This means possibly using a pen used by someone else. Atleast here the same staff member was filling in these details for us. Service was quick and as always the quality on the food was perfect. It's great to see businesses reopen and five guys ensured proper social distances were kept too by visitors and regularly cleaning contact services.

Decent! My first time ordering here and I can't fault it. The lad who served us was excellent. He was happy to take the time to run us through the menu and how to order. We went for two cheeseburgers and a medium fries which were tasty, and we got our food after around 5 minutes. It's a little steep for what you get but it was a treat, so no issues there!

Always great food and drink, shame that it's a bit pricey, only on special occasions. Plus note though free, easy and ample parking, just don't forget to put your reg number on the computer when you get there. They also do curbside pickup and order for collection online.

Yes it was nice but not the nicest. Also 4 burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks is not £50 worth. I also don't see how you justify a £1.20 jump from burger to cheeseburger. I didn't get any fries at first as the server hadn't added them. Didn't notice until I got handed the burgers. I went back to the till and explained, paid and asked for a rush as we had our burgers. Yes, fine, no problem.... There was one big order and a shake in front of me. Still waited nigh on 10 minutes for the fries which we got to eat with our, by now, lukewarm burgers. Not a revisit from me sadly. It wasn't worth the money for food or service.

Visited here just after some covid restrictions lifted, around 28th April so only got takeaway, cheese burger and Cajun fries lovely, but at over thirteen and a half quid you would expect your fries not to have been tipped out in your bag and at least to be given at least one serviette .

Took my 2 children with me to Five Guys during the Eisteddfod event. When I ordered food for us, we were given an option of toppings to choose from, which we did and if you ask for crispy bacon they will gladly do it for you. The chips order we were told just order one large chips to share as a meal and it arrived it was a very large amount of chips. The meal was very filling and couldn't finish the remaining chips. The amount it came to 2 children's burgers an adult burger with choice of toppings and chips as well as drinks came to £39. We found out that there was no coke available in the machines and they did try to find some bottles but there was none left.which was understandable due to the event that was happening. The staff refunded my money for my drink. As for my youngest daughter I had asked for a plain burger, but it came with hot sauce in it. To which they gladly made a fresh one for her. The staff were very busy so I can understand what happened in the process. The staff are very friendly made me feel that I was important and made sure everything was ok. They served with a smile and a courteous manner. The restaurant was very clean, bins emptied, a table always wiped down and cleaned once customer/s had finished. The unisex toilets are immaculate and cleaned routinely. If parking in the Red Dragon Car Park they have a machine where you enter your car details so that you can receive free parking, when going to the car park pay point after visit its logged in as free parking as you ate at one of the restaurants. If not you have to pay for parking.

This chain is great for a fast food style meal. The prices aren't cheap but the portions are huge to make up for it. A large fries is about twice the size of McDonald's for example. The burgers are always good quality and the soft drink refills are unlimited. Its great

I don't think this is a great burger joint. The claim regarding the massive number of variants of toppings is all very good but most people just want standard relish and dressings. The burger Pattie was small. Is it 3oz? I thought the fries were very average despite their claim about the fabulous quality of Idaho potatoes. It's just a bit flashy looking and because the decor is so 50s it appeals but it's rather thin on atmosphere. I've always preferred Eds which is a much smaller chain but even with today's hiked-up prices does a tastier burger every time. Five Guys - three stars!

I visited here this evening to eat in for the first time since lockdown. It was incredibly busy but the staff were amazing and incredibly organised. They were all working so hard and made sure everybody was safe and I couldn't fault the organisation and the effort they put in. The guy at the front of house in the red top and hat was not only organising the que, seating people, taking people in who only wanted to take out, but clearing tables, wiping down surfaces all while being friendly and professional. I don't know his name but he deserves a huge thank you and its a pleasure to be back!

Visited Five Guys with my son, I had a burger with fries and he had a hot dog with fries. The burger and hotdog were good, the fries were great, although for what your are served the price isn't warranted, it is far too expensive for what is essentially a slightly up market fast food restaurant. The Staff were great, friendly and very helpful. There is ample parking in the Red Dragon Centre car park which is free if you use the centre, just get your ticket validated when you make a purchase.

Can't really complain about the food, it's fairly good for fast food. A definite upgrade on Macdonald's or burger king, but you certainly pay for it. Around 2-3 times the price. If you're in a hurry and don't mind paying for a bit better than the usual fast food then it's ok, otherwise for similar money you can get a burger in the comfort of a numerous restaurants for similar prices.
