Had this on Saturday before the Wales v Belgium game to soak up my alcohol, it hit the spot. £4.99 for a smashing kebab & chips which included a bottle of drink.

8th December 2021 I purchased a mixed kebab around 8-9pm for a homeless man to collect at his leisure, 9th December the homeless man said the staff refused to give him the food saying they were unaware of who purchased the food and said he was lying. The homeless man said this had happened before . Perhaps they should have a gift card system as I believe people buy them food a lot and they want to reserve the food for later on. I am not giving 1star as that's unfair however this is not acceptable as they have in reality stolen money from me

Good portion sizes and right next to Leeds arena. Would have got 5 star but there wasn't enough curry sauce on my meal. I still recommend though.

We had a collection from here. All together the food is very good and tasty. We had lamb and mixed sheesh. Both were of great taste and soft not chewy. The wrap for kids were enjoyable as well. The proportion were quite good. We really enjoyed their food and like to have more from them. Recommended.

Super friendly staff! The best tasting vegan food we have had from a takeaway. Slight mishap with order not being put in bag but was compensated with a free dessert. Would go again when next visiting Cardiff! Recommended 100%!!!

Good deals reasonably priced. Food taste good. They have been operating for years and they are well known in the city centre. Their meals are well done and well prepared and good prices. However Caroline Street is not the best place to eat especially on busy days.

My first visit to Cardiff... Had to try a local kebab. Most personable kebab worker Ive ever met in my life... Happily met my demands on over the top onion and mayo and wrapping up so well I could eat warm when back at hotel. Cannot recommend enough, sad it isn't more local to my hometown. #Mo #chippylane ❤️🥙

Best kebab on Chippy Lane and I don’t mean drunk on a Saturday night either. I regularly eat from here on my lunch break, as it’s near to where I work. Very clean and although it’s not the main reason I’m there, the salad selection is pretty impressive too!

A breath of fresh air onto Chippy Lane (or Caroline Street) and a recent renovation to the street itself. Clean, nice modern with the classic gyro for döner kebabs, and a proper coal-looking grill for the shish - so it's always fresh. I myself am not vegetarian but there are still plenty of options for veggies! The veggie food always looks so lush! Salad on the front always looks great - fresh and clean are always great, which it is - but aesthetically pleasing makes for a nicer experience on top of this. Really nice people run the place which makes the experience all the better. Friendly atmosphere and conversation. Great for after a night out, great for a sober lunch. A recent favourite since it opened!

wow not only the place has given Caroline Street a major face-lift but it spotless. it has 5 stars rating. The food is so so fresh and the best you can have. The salad display makes you feel like you are on holiday somewhere in the Mediterranean, the care and service is fantastic. it is indeed a modern take away it has everything you wish for vegetarian food vegan food ...i am impressed indeed. even the small shop opposite started copying Hak's but but will never match HAK'S well done boss who ever you are ...
