So it’s city centre fast food. But is it? Well no. Really it’s indulgent food done well at a fast food price and service level. It’s a great location clean, bright, well designed but then there is a sink to wash your hands right in the seating area. This is great. You are about to eat with your hands so encouraging food hygiene is amazing especially as we just got done with CV-19. There is a range of food, we tried everything but the spaghetti. It was all good. Fruit juices rather then coke what a great option!!! Will go again and do recommend.

1st visit took ages to get served and I did not find the food remarkable. Its not bad, but not stand out. Chicken is far better than KFC. Very Crispy. This visit was more efficient, food was of a similar standard. I ordered a tropical burger, which was quite good, but could not see why it was called tropical, that was when my wife told me it was supposed to have pineapple in it! Err... what pineapple! Maybe I will get lucky on my next visit. Bit on the pricey side.

Order at the self service kiosks and collect your meal at the front. Food was quick to arrive and plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs. This was my first time trying jollibee so I was super excited. We ordered the 3 piece chicken joy meal and the new spicy chicken burger meal. I absolutely loved the spicy chicken burger. The spice level was Asian spice levels so I was super happy. The fries had a nice taste to it, maybe it was fried in the chicken oil?, The gravy dipping sauce is a must! The chicken joy however was slightly disappointing. The chicken was rather dry, but it was crispy and dipped in the gravy it was enjoyable. I would definitely come back for the spicy chicken burger and try out the yumbutger next time but probably skip the chicken joy on my next visit. Too bad no ube desserts in the UK branches. Overall enjoyed our meal.

Despite the slow service due to high demand, I'm still in love with Jollibee! Plus, each time I've been the staff have been very kind and calm (despite the seemingly hectic flows of people in and out). The food is definitely worth the price, even though it could be considered expensive. Some of the best chicken I've ever had! Great portion sizes and love the side of rice you can buy (works perfectly!). All in all, I will love Jollibee for a long time. I hope everyone is getting paid well enough and that the business treats its staff well.

So was the hype worth it? Recently opened on Cardiff’s Queen St, this place has been so busy and queues have been forming around the block. So decided to visit today as the queue was better and the restaurant was relatively quieter today. For a place so busy it has only 3 ordering terminals which isn’t enough. Also the ordering terminals aren’t user friendly and I cancelled a lot of orders by accident. Server looked a bit stressed and wasn’t friendly - understandable considering how busy it was. Still would of been nice to have a smile. Strange this person didn’t give me a cutlery set when I ordered a spaghetti, so I had to ask for it. Food wise, it was good a delicious. The spaghetti was commendable as the sauce was good and the pasta wasn’t overcooked. The chicken burger was amazing. The chicken was tender and moist. The bread bun was soft and moist and wasn’t crumbly. Onto the hotdog and that was decent as well considering it had been sitting there for 10 minutes. Again the hun was nice and soft. Overall the food was good but the service could be better. Would recommend.

It was okay. The food was tasty but it was my first time in store and it was really confusing. I wish the staff had been more helpful in helping me choose deals etc. I ended up spending close to £15 because I didn't know what to order and ended up getting things separately. It's pricy but tasty.

The rice is always lukewarm and the last time I went in I was given a portion of rice wrapped in paper. The chicken is very tasty and very hot (temperature wise). I just feel it could be better as the staff seem a bit clueless, I had to request a spoon, they almost forgot my fries and they were wondering how I managed to order a mango ice cream with fries when I'd actually ordered a chocolate ice cream with fries and a separate mango sundae. The machine wouldn't let me order the rice bowl, but didn't say if it was out of stock. When I did get my food they'd not given me any straws or napkins.

Had a little trouble using the self ordering station. One was 'frozen' in the middle of a transaction so had to wait for next available. Wide choice of food offered and had to read most descriptions as never been here before so slow ordering. Food was hot and tasty and served quickly.

Daughter had high hopes and wanted to try this. Popped there 26/06/22, early Sunday evening so was nice and quiet. Both ordered the 2pc spicy chicken meal. To be honest all 4 pieces of chicken were dry and chewy. Must of been waiting a while under the heater as it was quiet in there. Fries were decent, gravy was very similar to beef bisto. Highlight of the meal was the ice cream sundaes. Not in a rush to visit there again

Of course the crispiness is perfectly made. And it is spicy when you opt for it. And way much better than kebab. But if your taste bud made for kebab, then this is not for you. If your taste bud is for greasy like KFC’s then this is not for you.

My first time in Jollibee Cardiff. Newly opened branch and don’t expect to much but the place is located at the centre of cardiff. We park at NCP and walk for 5 mins. There space inside is much bigger compared to London Jollibee (Earl’s court)and they have a second floor. Waiting time is slow as expected since they’ve just opened recently so be patient guys. Staff are nice and love their shirt. sanitisers available and on the second floor they have a sink to wash your hands before and after eating. Most of all enjoy the chicken joy and jolly hotdog my favourites.

Takeaway or eat in with a similar set up to bigger brands. Pretty decent fried chicken/fries etc with a wide range of food - mostlt chicken. Right in the middle of Queen St in what used to be the smaller Burger King (not the one opposite Spar). I'd recommend it to try, while I prefer Slim Chickens, it's not half bad.

Kiosks are bugged. They don't offer meal deals, you can lose a lot of money. The lobby needs better attention. Tables were dirty and many of them were full of rubbish after previous customers. Also I didn't like loud music. I would like to see some side salad options.

Good crispy fried chicken, but a bit of a wait for food. A sink upstairs to wash hands in after the chicken. Big portion sizes. Can order from screens/kiosks and at the counter. They don’t accept AMEX. Free WiFi. Upstairs seating closes around 8PM. Friendly staff. Some teething issues but it’s early days. Nice addition to the Cardiff fast food scene.

My first time trying this chain. The menu is a bit differrent. But not impressed. - chicken = as good as kfc. - dipping sauces = my favourite. - spaghetti = like something out of a can. Tasty for kids. But not for me. - drinks = limited range. The coke was flat. No straws in stock. - service = Better than other chains on a busy day, cause more friendly. But took ages to get the food. - value. About the same as kfc. Conclusion. Helps me appreciate how good McDonalds is at fast food.

Very clean and spacious especially on the second floor which is equipped with a tap for hand washing. Staffs were very friendly. When I picked up my eat-in order, the staff promptly asked if I needed cutlery and paper plates. Fried chicken is good with a few choices of dipping sauce. I enjoyed the sweet and sour sauce. It's a good place for fast food if you have no other dining ideas.

Food is ok but not that great. Recently put the price up. Its only been opened couple of months and the 3 piece chicken joy went up to more than £1. If kfc can sell their chicken for £4.99 for three piece, so why cant jollibee. Then the gravy is so stingy. Its so disappointing. Im back to kfc. No more jollibee for me until they put their price down. I know its only a £1 but its the greediness that gets me.

The vibe was upbeat and friendly, the staff seemed happy and we didn't have to queue or wait long. My party of 5 all had the chicken, but the tropical burger and rice box was a little too spicy we couldn't eat it (our fault for reading the description). I'm disappointed I didn't see a kid's menu, but they do offer a small portion of 2 drumsticks. The food seemed fresh and tasty, but the chips were slightly undercooked. The pineapple and peach drinks were lovely and tasted like fresh fruit juice. I would go back to try the spaghetti and ice cream, but only for the novelty. I've taken another star off as it's more expensive than the other chicken chain. Its more suited to those who like spicy food.

Pros. Hot food (chips only)/ fast service /great customer service. Cons. Overly salty chips/ lukewarm chicken strips and cocacola that was very weak yes I know it normally is with fast food chains but this was especially weak no taste to speak of.. Overall not a bad experience but there is room for improvement. I also recommend getting smaller bags for small orders as the bag I got was way too big for only two items its very wasteful.

Like the over reviewer said, I wasn't given any fries! I had to go all the way back to the restaurant from my hotel (20 min round trip) to get some. Way too many staff in kitchen at a time and fries overly salty and chicken wasn't great. Staff very friendly when taking the order and very respectful of my allergy however. Also very polite and apologetic when I went back to get fries. Overall wouldn't say it was worth it especially at £5 for chicken and fries hence the 3 stars.

Hotdog was cold and the bread it was served in seemed like a bun from the local supermarket. Spacious and clean. Closer than London and lots of things to see if you want to see Cardiff. I usually drop my family at the church just at the back and drive to the big car park which is cheaper which is just 10-15mins walk especially if you have little kids. Get a take out and go eat at Cardiff bay and you will enjoy it more because of the nice view. It gets busy on weekend and holidays so be patient. Worth the 1-2hrs travel

Tbh I think we choose the wrong weekend to go a try it for the first time, we were in a que for nearly an hour and when we got the chicken a chips and tenders we left, we hadn't gone far but the food was already cold and the chicken was so dry and the chips were awful, the tenders were good and so were the drinks, so on a less busy day maybe the chicken is better.
