A. H. M.I visited KFC Cardiff - Queen street during the weekend. Please note that there are two KFCs in Cardiff. KFC at St.Mary Street is not halaal and KFC at Queen's street is halaal.
For the first time, I tried Zinger Burger Meal and Zinger Salad. Zinger salad was delicious with Mayonnaise. If you haven't tried Zinger Salad, you must try it.
They have dine-in and takeaway options as well. They have self-ordering machines with spacious seating.
The prices are reasonable. You can visit here with family, friends, and kids as well.
G. A.Was fine for a quick bite after a Friday night game. Not all the ordering machines were working which you didnt know until you tried to pay. Could do with more staff cleaning especially on those busier days.
I. M.Didnt ask the name but i think her tag said Shraddah, she was excellent and very patient with me and my friend. Went here yesterday after gym, ordered a bunch of food (which was nice) we went up like 4 separate times to the counter 😂 we forgot salt, straws, napkins and a flamim wrap we ordered hadnt came (was a large order so understandable) but despite how busy she was she served us all 4 times with what we needed without hesitation! I understand how annyoing it can be so special thanks to her, i should really ask the staffs name next time tho.

T.Building has gone through a well needed redesign. New menu is better than before and ordering is much easier with the new machines. Not a single downside I can see about the upgrade

A. M. R.Taste is good enough. Lots of combos so easy to pick one up. Service is good and fast. And they serve halal food.

H.Majority of the time, I visit this restaurant for their famous burgers and wraps. 9 times out of 10 I go there, we have pieces of chicken, which are covered in skin. I understand that the skin is used to sustain the flavour of their finger lickin chicken. But sometimes, it puts me off having chicken. I only come here now for their wraps and burgers. Very delicious.

W. M.Tasty and Halal chicken. Fast ordering facility with contactless payments. Since its in town centre, it can get very busy between 3pm-7pm so be prepared to wait, could be up to 15 minutes.

W. R.Definitely not a healthy choice of food. Especially the chicken is very greasy. But when it comes to the service yes it is very good and of course there are other options such as the burger which you can have. The crushens are also really delicious, then again the sugar content is a red flag.

s.Generally not very busy but service can be slow & you need to ensure they give you the correct order/put it through correctly on till. There are toilets upstairs & it's generally easy to get any seat you want. This KFC does not seem to have wet wipes

S. M.Food quality not as good as normal hot wings were a little over cooked tasted crunchy and slightly burnt and they had no salt for the fries.
C. M.25 minute wait for my food, they also got my order wrong but I didn't realise until I left the place. Toilets out of order and part of the place is selectioned off with cardboard on the floor by tills too.
The one new KFC on St Mary Street is better and the staff are nicer too - go there instead
J. M.I went last Monday in the last 10 minutes to get some food. I didn't realise about the time... I don't use to like to go to this kind of places in the last minutes because I know that the staff can be tired. I was worried that the food were bad quality, expired one or whatever BUT it was amazing. It was my second time in KFC. So this is a message to the crew staff, congratulations! You are doing a great job!! 😊

D. M.Found it to be an OK enough KFC with lots of seating and both upstairs and downstairs seating provided. Food quality was good and tasty and the restaurant was located in a good area, being a short walk from the Queen Street station as well. It did get a bit crowded when we were there.
S. M.I like it as it has big dine in area upstairs. The service is quite fast and hot chicken. It is faster now as we can order ourselves in some big screens.
C. B.Since the refurbishment the place is a lot more inviting visually and appears to be a lot cleaner. Unfortunately on the few occasions I have visited the staff haven't been as friendly as you might expect from a fresh looking restaurant and almost every time I've visited something has been wrong with our order. The food is good, but there always seems to be little mistakes being made e.g. Being given gravy when we ordered beans or missing sides entirely. The quality of their Krushems is not fanatic either. My housemate who I regularly dine with has a cocoa allergy and every time he's ordered a white chocolate Krushem from this particular store he's had to take it back because there have been chunks of milk chocolate in it. I know his allergy is rare but that doesn't make it okay to regularly mix incorrect ingredients into drinks.

P. B.This KFC was advertised on their website as being open from 7am on weekdays. We arrived at 7.30am, hoping for some 'finger lickin chicken' , only to find that it doesn't open til 9am. My fingers remain unlicked. Please sort it out KFC.
