The best shawarma in town! I mean it! I like many places but here I will gladly come back and recommend with pleasure and without hesitation! Traditional, quality food and good prices ! Oooo..what I can say.. the best of the best. Perfect delicious full of taste colourful amazing wanderful.... Vegetarian meal only for £ 6.95, big plate, not possible to finish, Nann bread fresh one, so soft, chilly dip and all kind of sauces are fresh!! Very very comfortable seats, nice restaurant, staff 10*, friendly, you feel more than welcome. You are jealous on all plates arround you. I didn't have that great meal so so so long time, maybe one of the best ever! Prices are great when you compare to all kind of " fish and chips with mushy peas " Definitely come back and I can recommend from deep deep of my 💓 .

This is a really good Lebanese place , great service and staff are very friendly. When storm Emma hit , this place was still open and all the other restaurants were closed. So we went here and it was great, especially the steaks !

You can find some of the best and authentic Lebanese food here with a wide variety of freshly made kebabs and naan. They are well known for their traditional cooked naan in the old school way with their home made hummus which is to die for. They have a good selection of meats to choose from which are very well marinated The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and service you get at the restaurant They have have acquit sitting to accommodate large groups and you can order online from various delivery websites Overall, it is a must try in the area

Good to the point service. Food is always generous with portions. Cooked well with good flavours. The steak is usually well done even if you ask for rare. The atmosphere is always busy with a nice energy. The only drawback it the venue is cash only, however there is a cash point just down the road.

The sharing platter is insanely good. So much food. Sharing platter for 2 is more than enough for 2-3 people. Delicious, hot, fresh food. Spices and seasonings are perfect. Even the sauces are really good. Would definitely recommend the sharing platter from here (as it is the only thing on the menu I've tried so far)

Nice food and good atmosphere. If you have a Shawerma just don't have one when they open as it's not always fresh. If you go during busy times then it's nice and fresh. Portions aren't that big, even if you get larger sizes as the plates are weirdly laid out. Overall worth experiencing for sure.

Been visiting this place since my daughter started University in Cardiff. It is a must place which we have to visit every time. the food as always been outstanding. my favourite is chicken curry with red kidney beans and hot naan. staff can be hit and miss. but really worth a visit.

Visited here a number of times and the team are friendly and the service is superb. The food is what attracts us here and it's pretty special, in fact I would go as far to say this is the jewel in the crown for Cardiff that has yet to be discovered by so many. Once visited though, guaranteed you'll want to visit again and again. We ate the sharing platter for two and couldn't finish it all.

Absolutely love this place, always good quality food, the bread/nan rice and lamb is phenomenal, found it 5 months ago and I have become a regular already! Love the mango, strawberry and apple smoothie - only smoothie in Cardiff I have found with real fresh mango. The full sharing platter for 2 is immense, enough for 3 or even 4 people, great value for money and beautiful flavours. Best rice and fresh cooked nan in Cardiff!

Fantastic food and service. I visited two nights running and the second night I didn't arrive until 11.30pm but the staff still were willing to let me sit and eat at my leisure. Due to the late timing I saw the cleanup procedures before closing and was extremely impressed at the cleanup process and how thoroughly the cooking areas are cleaned each night. Highly recommended - as is the shisha loung next door!

Love the food just wasn't happy seeing one of the cooks coming from behind the counter with his blue gloves on and walking up the stairs touching the hand rail and coming back down touching the hand rail and then going back behind the counter to handle food again . Gloves should be taken off when leaving the kitchen and new 1s put on when returning to the food . Great way to spread germs !!

This is one of the nicest places I have eaten at (I would give it 4.5 stars). The food was wonderful, service was also very good. I tried the Lamb & chicken Shawarma and also a Lamb mixed grill I think it was. The lamb shawarma tasted incredible, the marination these guys use is a game changer. The lamb grill was also top notch, and the chicken shawarma was very moist and succulent. The only reason La Shish doesn't get full 5 is because the chips were too dry, but still #Dribble
