J. P.Visited to celebrate 16th Birthday. Service was very good and polite. Restaurant was very clean and tidy. We felt the food lacked 'depth' and 'didn't wow us' - meatballs and calamari were a bit bland. All felt a bit dated and a bit old fashioned. Good, but not great.

P.This place is a gem and a must if visiting Cardiff, also the locals need to try it.
On arrival we were met by Gino and Maria, who made us feel welcome.
I have to say the food was amazing all freshly cooked with home made sweets, service was second to none. A really outstanding place to eat.

We were a group of 27 celebrating an 80th birthday. The food was amazing as were the staff. A lovely atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. Thank you so much for making our celebration so lovely…highly recommend
D. R.Honestly the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. From the moment we entered to the moment we left, we were treated with the greatest service. The lasagne I ordered was absolute delicious; don’t know if I’ve ever had one nearly as good before. The tiramisu dessert was a whole other experience with how it was served and with how well it tasted. I will only be going here for Italian from now on, don’t think anywhere else compares. Highly recommend for everyone.

m. r.First restaurant outing for almost a year so a bit anxious. Need not have worried. Temperatures taken on arrival, tables and menus regularly sanitised. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating; nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was amazing as was the range of wines on offer. The whole ambiance of the restaurant was perfect.

I have been for both lunch and dinner and the welcome every time has been excellent and very friendly. The food is always great, incredibly tasty and good portion sizes. They are clearly following all the necessary COVID safe rules and I felt incredibly comfortable there. I will be visiting again soon!

j. c.This is the best and most authentic italian in cardiff by far. Really recommend the penne spezzatino & the gnocchi with ragu. the profiteroles are the best we’ve tasted. Staff are friendly and welcoming, they provided us with private seating so my girlfriend could feed our baby daughter and always make the effort to chat with us. my sister in law asked for less chilli in one dish as she doesnt like spice and the friendly chef came out to personally check it wasnt too hot for her. Love it.
