A. T.I am new to UK and I visited this branch of McD first. My experience was wonderful. My international card didn't work at the self order station. The staff was very helpful and kind. I met this beautiful lady who worked at the St. Mary's branch named Shakila. She helped me out with the whole process and even checked up on me multiply times during my visit. I will always come back to this branch for the excellent customer service and how she treated me like family.

A.Morning early hours around 3:30am-4am after finishing work at another club that we have agreement with I could sit in until my train arrived with the other club and then being discriminated against via their security at the club so wasn’t allowed in (left them a pooooor review) your amazing security staff made sure I was safe for 15-30minutes until I could safely go to the train station to get on my train straight away as it’s the first train and they don’t open properly until 5am anyway my train is just before they properly open so, can only go in for that train when it arrives and I’m assuming they close until trains are properly running which is another hour later. Also it was cold and I was being followed by people (drunks that recognised me from working). I felt so much better being able to order a burger and a drink and sit with security and have a chat for a few minutes inside, it was a lovely gesture and nice to see all staff going out their way after the clubs shutting and a busy concert night, well done to your team today!
P. K.i only wanted a bacon roll,, it was ok,, 4 bites and it was gone.
75p a bite.. if you like that sort of thing but personally i wish id have bought some spuds & sausages!!!

S.To the staff shakira and door staff working early hours morning on 29th Jan, they looked after me and kept me safe and made me feel so comfortable and was so kind after a night out with my battery being dead and being followed by some strangers, they took care of me and made sure I got home safe, thank you I really appreciate it and without you guys I don't know what would have happened
L. G.We came here from London to visit the city, we ate in McD, the staff was very helpful especially a lady called Shakila. Shakila was extremely lovely, patient and overall joyful and happy. The best can be said about her. We wanted to say Thank you to Shakila and the staff.

G. R.Before I Even Begin With this. lets just remember that not much can be said about fast food outlets that already may have been. Especially when theyre part of a chain in a franchise as big as McDonalds. So Ive decided to simply pick on most if not all fastfood outlets kryptonite here and rate the accuracy of the order against the waiting time.
There's not too many a Unique moment that you will ever see in life. especially to the extent of which i witnessed just the other day @ Mcdonalds in cardiff queen street. The Guy ahead of me had simply ordered two sausage and egg mcmuffins, seems fairly straight forward right?. But after nothing had arrived to him a full 20mins later he made a polite enquiry regardin where it was(let the fun commence!). As the word spread like wildfire through the kitchen area it seemed all hell and panic had broken out and thw whole situation was equally as funny as it was farcical!. it transpired that whoever had taken the order...had infact not taken the order!🤣. They did however take the money!🤣. so my 3stars are more of appreciation of an epic comedy fail as oppose to champion breakfast retail!🤣.

A. K.I don’t come here so often but whenever I have it has been good since I’ve been twice recently and customer service is excellent. Food is hot and fresh those times I’ve come with nothing missing and the lady at the front Shakila is very helpful with seating, hygiene and giving information to me and my friend. Was well looked after. I hope it stays like this.
K. S.I travelled from Kent to Cardiff, I was hungry and needed to charage my phone. The Cel shakila who greeted me at the door was lovely and found me a place to charge my phone until a booth became avaiable. I was promptly move ld to a booth. Resteraunt was clean and staff very welcoming. Your staff are a credit to you.

I had a tiring shift at work last night at my hospitality job and ordered Mcdonalds breakfast this morning as a pick me up. I was surprised to see this. I do like to write 'thank you' on my own customers bags but this is above and beyond.
You may think it's just a simple thing but the little things make such a big difference and you never know who needed to read that lovely quote today.
So whoever you are, thank you.
R.Opening hours aren’t correct. Visited at 12am on a Friday night/Saturday morning and it was closed.
R. C.Good view of the Street, enjoyed food on a rainy day. Swift service. We went with family of four, not much crowded on a weekend afternoon. Had good experience when compared to other McD's. One of the quick eat outs in the vicinity.

C. D.I love this McDonald's, the staff are friendly and the service is second to none. It's a fantastic place to take your wonderful girl out on a romantic evening for two. She seemed blown away by the whole experience, I even went the extra mile and got some cheesy bites with our meal which really impressed her. It's now been two weeks since the date but unfortunately I think she's lost her phone I haven't heard from her since.
D. A.A very average McDonald’s- not the best and not the worst I’ve had. Staff have been rude and lazy but on other occasions have been nice and friendly - it all depends on the staff working and on your luck. Sometimes the food looks a bit old, especially the beef patty. The place is often dirty And grungy . But it’s a budget fast food in Cardiff’s main booze street so having high expectations is pointless.

L.Lady at counter was very friendly, had quick good service, got given sweet and sour sauce by mistake instead of sweet chilli, this left me traumatised and needing counseling, only teasing , customer service good on the whole, but don't like the computer screen s where your order stuff, annoying, and can harbour germs as they are touch screen, slow system, and some not all, but some people don't wash their hands before using them. Service is quite good, but food is slower these days because of technology which is a contradiction I know, but standing and queuing waiting for numbers is no fun, but people are usually quite helpful that work there.
A. R.I must praise Shakira for doing such a great job directing people at the door re covid whilst people just ignore her or walk past, she was always smiling and friendly. I felt very safe being in her store.
A. A.We went here for a quick bite to eat before the Wales vs Italy game. As you'd expect on international day the restaurant was very busy. My daughter uses a wheelchair and as soon as the staff member Shakila saw us she came straight over to offer assistance. Shakila found us as free table and waited with it while I ordered our food, she told us to stay seated and she would bring our order to us which she did. The food was quick and hot.
We couldn't believe how brilliant Shakila's customer service was as we weren't the only customers that she paid this amount of attention too.
I hope Shakila is recognised for her brilliant service.

D. D.Food as normal for a fast-food chain. The service from the staff was a little bit poor but that is a normal thing in most of the McDonalds branchs in the UK. If we go on holidays to the south of Europe we'll taste the same but with better quality food and definitely superb and friendly staff. We should learn with those countries.
B. R.I guess most McDonald’s are the same everywhere even though the taste of food varies.
This one in Cardiff boasts of helpful staff who assisted us in making up our mind as to what to have. Good experience and good food.
O. R.Has to be one off the best McDonald's I've ever been too shame it's 158 miles from home. You can taste the freshness in the food. Quick very friendly staff. Fresh clean establishment.
T. R.It’s very cramped in there they do not have a lot of seating in the downstairs, so it can quickly be hard to move in there. Often a complete mess there is also an issue with beggars. The last time I was in there a man who could barely stand up and was actually staggering on the spot somehow, walked up and grabbed someone else’s food and then splashed milkshake over half the queue. They should check the order before handing over food and get a bouncer.
T. A. J.Its open quite late which is very good if you've arrived into Cardiff late. The have decent service and automated machines also which allow you to order with ease. If I go to Cardiff again (which I likely will be) then I will definitely be back.
M. T.What a cracking place. Normally I'm a vegan however after getting completely hooned watching the Chemical Brothers I was sufficiently enticed by the McChicken menu which was still on my breath in the morning. Would probably make similar errors in judgement and come again.
N.McDonald's... Everyone knows it. Everyone knows what to expect. This one is a rough one though. Full of rough chavs and often has a whiff of vomit around it due to its location close to the night clubs of Cardiff and it's 24 hour opening times. Customer service is abysmal though. Not through the fault of the serving staff but because of the aweful Argos like system to collect your food. The security guards at night treat every customer like the enemy and are extremely hostile.

M. “. S.A good McDonald's, can't really complain except for the weak French fries. Service was really quick but I wouldn't have minded to wait an extra minute or two for some crispy fries.
D. P.Went in after a concert, and having had an amazing time at said concert, promptly collapsed on the floor. Staff were really good, helped my aunt sort me out and get me back on my feet. Thank you guys!

Quite the creation you made son, 20 Cheaky Nuggets and some Curry Sauce, yes lad, don't mind if I do.
Not feeling the nuggs? No problem hit up those Cheaky Selects we shall.
Fries hit the spot this ain't no KFC Copperfield BS.
A nice liquid Coke (Cheaky) to wash it all down with, Shazam.
If man's remembered his Student ID he'd blap a McFlurry to go with his meal for free.

M. l.not well organised, waited a while, got my food, sat upstairs where the girl took me and then security told us to move as they were closing upstairs in 10 minutes.

R. W.Mc Donalds is a brilliant place but sometimes does lack speed that you would expect from a 'Fast food chain' but overall for a fast food restaurant the food was good! My fravorite thing that they offer is the 20 chicken nuggets box!

r. r.You have to make sure your food is what you ordered as more than once they put pickles in when said no + bacon i ask for it + its not there. Most staff are friendly.

G.A typical maccies for you, on par with other maccies for food and cleanliness throughout, would lose a star in comparison to others for it's lack of seating, but for it's location, it's good for picking up something to take with you.
