O. R. R.Nice intimate bar ! Delicious veggie breakfast served until 2pm. Super friendly staff and nice enough to allow breakfast order just on the limit as I was there at 1.56 or so, I was very grateful. I absolutely loved the decor 😍 ❤️ and their menu design and the little Hendricks tea cups and my favourite tea bags PG... vintage and antique yet fresh and up-to-date with their cocktail selection and will definitely try on next visit, today it was a bit too early for that.👌 😍 🙌
L. M. C.Cozy, intimate bar with yummy traditional Welsh options to warm you on a wet, cold day. Vegan and vegetarian options available! Service was quick and friendly. Close to the city center and Cardiff Central Station. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Enjoy!
K. M.Went on a wednesday lunch with my mum. Service was friendly, fast and accommodating when asking for extra’s like napkins, glass of water. Vegan sharing platter was great with a variety of fried, fresh and roasted foods with many dip options. Great location for people watching whilst eating as well as relatively intimate-feeling considering it’s a patio too. Would repeat!

I didn't enjoy the atmosphere, a bit too noisy for my taste, hence the 4 stars only. I had to speak louder than usual, for my companion could hear me. We decided to have a coffee somewhere else. I'd choose it again for a quick lunch, but wouldn't spend too much time there if it's crowded.

J. J.I booked this for me and friend for some drinks and food, it was not what I was expecting. Was very rowdy and noisy, we had a table booked for 6.30 and the table next to us (upstairs room) was screaming so loud we couldn't hear each other. The food was not bad we had a sharing platter, cocktails were average. We only had two drinks then left. To sum it up the toilet was covered in sick at around 7pm which sums it up really. Wouldn't visit again but if you are looking for casual place this might be for you.

Lucy had the bbq pulled pork burger which she says was very nice but didn't offer a bit for me to try.
We both enjoyed the tripple cooked chips which were as they should be crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
After we were finished Lucy hit them with the Meerkat meals voucher (was £16.50 with a couple of diet cokes) and off we went to see Bill Bailey in the Motorpoint Arena.

We were promptly given our cocktails and the food came faster then we thought! We had the burger with triple cooked chips and we were very full. Price of the food was good too. Would come again when were next in Cardiff.

Great food and brilliant cocktails (best place for an espresso martini) and a fantastic atmosphere! Not to mention a heated outdoor cover! Will definitely be making Pitch a regular stop.

A. K.We bought deal on Groupon 19£ for 2 mains with soft drink. We didn't expected much, but we've well surprised. Lamb shanks & all order were very good and staff really friendly and helpful.
R. E.Food was OK, Welsh rarebit bites as a starter was 3 (1/2) slices of warm bread with cheese. Not what was expected. Main took alot longer than anticipated due to a chef error but also drinks took over 10 minutes (just pints) whilst other people's drinks were being given before and these were cocktails. Seemed like if you were familiar with the staff, your order came first. Food was nice but we wouldn't be in a rush to come back.

And, poache eggs were hard. Nice staff at the services though, they apologized many times and gave our drinks for free. Hope the kitchen get their act together...

I had the best burger and chips ever.so fresh and tasty. Triple cooked chips.
My wife had the chicken dish which was melting in the mouth succulent.the veg was fresh and crunchy, the sauce was so tasty and delicious.
It was busy as it should be but the co owner Tom and the staff went out their way to make us comfortable.

Walked in as it opened at 11.00 to book a Table later in the day,
very welcoming Staff at this time of day.
Returned for our Meal - Sunday Lunch Platter, chose Beef & Pork, Beef exceptional, melted in the mouth, Compliments extended to the Chef. Extensive Menu and choice of Drinks.
Privately owned establishment (not chain), therefore the Service, Quality and Hospitality are unquestionable.
Establishment supports 'Blue Light' & 'Defence Discount Service' Card Holders.
H. H.It is quite nice, I came on a rugby day unfortunately and they were hugely understaffed, I would have thought they would have been more prepared. It took me ages to get served and I ordered food and a drink I feel like they could have got a quick drink in for me whilst they were serving food and taking orders, I get they were busy but really how long can it take? Anyway my food came first and I still didn't even have my drink. It's a shame because the staff were really friendly about it I don't think it was there fault that it was busy but maybe better planning was needed.

A. C.Went here for brunch on a Saturday. The Full Welsh was top notch. Service was brilliant, prices were good value and the music selection was an unexpected bonus. I’ll defo be making this my go-to brunch place in Cardiff. The only slight negative comment is it feels like a late night bar from the outside, so it’s easy to miss for brunch.

T.Excellent restaurant and even though it was busy because of the Ed Sheering concert the staff made every effort to serve the food as quickly as possible apologising to any customers who had been kept waiting. The food itself was very good but for the money paid ie £11.50 for a burger and chips the portions were small. The starters and deserts between £5 to £6 were again really nice but for the price rather on the small side. Well worth a visit but if your really hungry you may be disappointed. Beers £4 to £5 a bottle and limited draft beers, ciders, and lagers only 3 choices. If your a Guinness lover as I am it was on the drinks menu but I thought it was on draft but later found out it came from a can which explained the huge difference in both taste and quality.

J. C.A lot of promise, and you can get really great drinks and a meal, but it can sometimes be hit and miss. But we've had issues with orders a couple of times. Food wasn't hot enough, or some items were overcooked. The Sunday lunch is the highlight of their menu and definitely worth a try.

I went with a small group of friends, but since I don't drink anymore , I ordered a tea, which prompted the waitress to laugh and give me a bit of an attitude. I didn't get the tea I ordered (Earl Grey with Milk). I went inside to get a latte instead, which was more of cafe au lait, but at least it was decent and drinkable. Because of this experience, I am giving this place 3 stars.
