P. S.Excellent team from all.aspects, great food, different to alot of places, great drink, lovely seating areas, open aspect to the shops, people watching and relaxing. Only wish they were in Brighton not Cardiff, but will be back soon!
N. K.Shake Shack in Saint Davids is always a great experience. They serve fries that can compete with the best in the business. We always go for their chicken burgers as they serve Halal chicken. The chicken is battered in buttermilk, making it extremely juicy and tender. It's also great to see them always introducing new, limited edition items to keep things interesting.
A. N.The shroom stack burger is a cheese filled delight. Their burgers are very good quality and taste delicious. The roasted garlic and parmesan fries are my absolute favourite and I'm genuinely looking forward to eating them again. I could have packed away double the portion. They tasted even better than poutine I'd had at another eatery in Cardiff. I wish Shake Shack would open a branch in Swansea so I didn't have to drive over an hour to get a burger. I still do though because it's worth it.
L.Our fav place to go to when we visit Cardiff. Food is always fast and ordering is much easier now done by the barcode. It’s always very very expensive but definitely worth it. I just wish there were more Shake Shacks in the midlands!
N.A little expensive, but worth it. The crispy shallot burger was excellent! The vegan cheese was super melty and the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle

F. B.Not particularly keen on the burgers in this place although the cheesey chips are to die for. Had the apple wood smoked bacon burger. Bit concerned the burger was pink in the middle and as I understand it these shouldn't be served to kids as the meat is not fully cooked and can harbour bacteria. I myself don't like it pink in the middle for burgers. Not in a hurry to visit again.

The cheese and the patty is amazing! As accompanied with the must have cheesy fries, it’s really good . Prices are slightly high compared to Fast food e.g Burger King, McDonalds. 4 star as there’s only one choice for vegetarians!

S.The Caramel shakes usually taste great, on one or two instances they've tasted more like Matcha or Coffee (perhaps a mix-up with the order or the ingredients in the kitchen) but the vast majority of the time, you get a darn good Caramel shake!

The burgers and fries themself were better than other fast food options, it felt more like restaurant food in a casual setting

They always fix it no problem) if it's rush hour and you have a lot of people with you, but worth it for the burgers and fries. Must try drink is the coffee milkshake! Always have it when I visit.

The crinkle fries were great though. Perhaps the staff could also get a refresher course on where the allergy info is kept.

I was a bit disappointed on the prices vs the food, which was good but with so much competition nearby, I did not expect to break £10 for a burger, fries and a drink. (mine came to £12.25)
What I was really disappointed in was the plastic cutlery, plastic straws and the mini condiment sachets.
These are all not good for the environment, and not bio degradable. I hope that Shake Shack will follow in the footsteps of other restaurants (both chain and independent) in moving to more bio degradable and better for the environment.
T.Nice but expensive fast food. More in the Five Guys price range than McD's. The shakes (at over £5 each) drove the price up to nearly £30 for two of us.
Food was all fresh and tasty, though, and the crinkle cut fries are a particular highlight. Crisp on the outside thanks to the shape and fluffy in the middle. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Everything is an optional extra, this makes it very easy to overspend on a meal. Portions are quite small as are the burgers.

The only things letting it down are portion size and price. The burgers are exceptionally small especially considering their high price point. If the burgers were more substantial or cheaper, I would be back in a heartbeat. As it stands, when I get a burger craving I'll likely pop round the corner to Grazing Shed instead.

The food is always fresh cooked perfectly to order and is always promptly ready(even when place is full ) best burger joint in UK, an absolute must on our regular 'daddy-daughter days'.. T. P.I enjoyed my burger and fries here. The food is anything but fast, although it is worth the wait. Don't be drawn into any variations of burgers or hotdogs, the extra money you pay doesn't mean you will get anything more than maybe and extra pickle in a standard burger. Fairly expensive considering what else is on offer in the centre.
A.A good meal, but be aware of the price you pay for it! I ordered a single ShackBurger, fries and a strawberry shake.
The food itself is absolutely delicious, and I cannot fault it in any way. The way that the burgers are cooked make it stand out from the crowd of fast food burger joints that dominate the market.
However, this all totalled £13.70. You get a burger the size of one you typically find in McDonald's for the price of one you would get in Five Guys. If you are willing to stomach the cost you'll get a good burger that you should enjoy rather than scoffing down quickly.

R. J.I had a burger and fries, and the burger was really sloppy, almost to the point where I wasn't sure where to pick it up without everything falling apart. It was disappointing - as a "premium" burger restaurant, I was expecting better. The fries were fine, and a bit nostalgic with the crinkle cut, but didn't make up for the burger. I couldn't honestly recommend the place.
N. G.Tasty and convenient for the price, about what you would expect from a fast food chain. There vegetarian Shroom burger was tasty and something I'd be happy to come back for next time, its currently (summer 2019) the only meet free main dish on the menu. The restaurant was a bit messy with some tables still having crumbs after previous customers and some trays not being collected for a while despite there being ony about half capacity.

W.The first time I came here I left underwhelmed. Been back a further twice and hands down my favourite burger in Cardiff. It isn't especially large- if anything it's a slightly anaemic overpriced patty, but a delicious one at that. General eating like a sparrow helps to align expectation.
