Popped into Colchester today, thought I’d get myself a Gyro, well ended up with 3. Pork, Chicken & Lamb skewer. Thought I’d give the guy’s a try at the Acropolis. Well I wasn’t disappointed with the price £14.95 & 2 free drinks, and most of all the taste was amazing & the portions were big, great value. Pictured is the Pork I’ll update with photo’s of the other’s. I will definitely be popping back in this establishment again. Keep up the great service guy’s 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻

This was my first time ordering from here and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The Chefs special was incredible - perfectly cooked pork and chicken with a really nice charring to give it extra flavour and seasoned perfectly, pitta was light, fluffy and tasty and the salad was nice and fresh. Tzatziki was refreshing, zingy and really well made. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

In Colchester for lunch. Well, being a stranger where do you choose as there are literally hundreds of places to grab a bite to eat? We both fancied something Mediterranean rather than English. We chose Acropolis and went Greek. We chose their chicken gyros which were absolutely fabulous. Ordered at the counter, we ate in and were served generous portions within minutes. All freshly prepared hot and delicious. Fresh salad garnish, oil and vinegar condiments it felt like we were on holiday in Greece. All for circa £20.00. Thank you Acropolis you made us two happy diners and if in town again we will return.

The best, most authentic Greek Gyros in Colchester. All food prepared and cooked onsite. The pork gyro is a must try, along with the fresh Hummus and Tzatziki! Generous portions. Friendly staff! Keep doing what your doing! We love it.

Got take away for 7 people. Took a little while to come but we’ll worth the wait. I had the acropolis special box. It was amazing. Very good portions. Best tzatziki I’ve ever had in the uk. Really good food.

Great food. The halloumi salad is lovely. They sell Greek beer. Lovely seasoned chips for £2 a portion. One of the best late night eateries in Colchester.

This is about the 10th time I’ve ordered from this restaurant. Every time, the food has arrived hot and tasted amazing! Can’t recommend it enough! Make sure you order from their website and not websites like Just Eat etc.

The service and delivery is always fantastic the food is fresh & amazing! I have ordered from here many times. I particularly love the chicken gyro and the lamb skewers grilled. Most important you don't feel bad as it taste healthy. The staff is very nice specially the lady with blonde hair. X
