This is the original and authentic Indian restaurant I would like to say original flavour of Indian food service is five star. The food was great, freshly cooked very tasty, well presented and service overall was good. A good meal and great value we will certainly be going back.

A fine authentic Indian restaurant in the Essex county. Friendly staff, Great value for the price. One must try their Dum chicken biryani, it is so mouthwatering.

A well-prepared delectable dishes with great presentation and an interesting flavour. The dishes here is with a few basic ingredients that still delivered a unique taste and flavour. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Incredibly good Indian restaurant in Colchester. Really pleasant and interesting menu, first place in Colchester to do Masala Dosa for example. Ate a really good meal here, really nice service, great food and comfortable surroundings. A new favourite for me, give it a visit. Tandoori lamb chops are well worth savouring! Also one of the best Vegetarian menus according to a friend with us who rated it very highly.

Have been eating at this restaurant for over a year now and had absolutely no complaints.
No doubt the food is delicious (great quality but a little less quantity wise). But nonetheless an authentic Indian restaurant one can find in Colchester.
However in the past few months the prices have shot up and now an additional 10% service charge which is nowhere mentioned in the menu card, nor was it told beforehand while ordering.
5/5 star for food but overall I feel no good value for me.
Not too sure if would visit again.

Happened upon Curry Leaves last week and was really impressed with the service and food, so impressed that we returned this week, with another group, to share the find. All of the old favourites with the addition of some more unusual offerings, which are definitely worth trying. The staff were very happy to explain the dishes and offered to adjust the level of spice to suit our tastes.well worth a visit.

A really nice South Indian dining experience in Colchester. Usually for these experiences we need to go to London, so really nice to have this opportunity close to home. The food is nicely prepared and we enjoyed all of the food items that we ordered. Impressed that the food arrived in good time as well.

Amazing authentic Indian food. Great selection of dishes, and all of the food was so delicious! There were also such friendly staff who were very welcoming and hospitable. Will definitely be going back soon :)

Incredible food, this is up there with the greats of London, tayyabs etc! Real authentic Indian food, not typical cop out British curries! My only criticism is the huge service charge added to my bill. Otherwise nothing but spectacular.

Awesome S. Indian food. . . very nice staff, quick service, and a full menu of S Indian classic dishes. Everything we had was delicious, in particular the egg dosa and the butta kebab (sweetcorn fritters on sticks) were exceptional . . . but the fish biryani was unbelievable, incredibly complex, massive depth of flavour and all cooked perfectly. . . by a long way the best I've ever tasted, and in my top 3 favourite dishes anywhere, ever.
