Popped into Colchester today, fancied something to eat, either Gyro’s or Shawarma, well the latter won, I see this establishment a week ago, so I thought I would give it a try, well I wasn’t disappointed, fabulous taste and the place was a hive of activity, telling me one thing, that the food must be good, next time I’m going to try them in the bread cake, I ended up getting 2 as everything looked fresh and healthy. Bravo guy’s right on the button for taste, and value for your money, this place will definitely be on my list next time I’m in Colchester. 5 ⭐️ all round 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻

This place is absolutely great the food is delicious, so simple, and very good on price. I gend to always have the mixed lamb and chicken shawerma with chilli and mint yoghurt sauce. The bread is freshly made in the clay oven, tandoori style, slapped onto the inside walls. Then the juicy cooked prices of meat are sliced off then placed into the bread which is now like a fluffy pancake style and charred to perfection. The salad goes in, sauces on top, then all wrapped up in heat insulating paper. Throw in the chips and a drink (all for just £7) it's its an absolute treat.

This place is great value for money, with their kebab wraps priced at just £4 or as a meal for just £6, plus they have a good variety of sauces so you can finish you kebab just how you like it

Great food prepared fresh & made on the premises each day! I don't go anywhere else now since discovering this mouthwatering Shawarma recipe. Just like eating roast lamb or roast chicken with the added enjoyment of a fresh naan made in front of you to wrap around this great tasting & fresh food!

Maybe the best shawarma in Colchester. They do their own fresh breads and amazing falafel. The chicken wrap with a drink included is £5 and delicious.

Love their fresh bread, out of oven. Naan & Bread are two choices for shawerma wrap. Good clean & warm shawerma wraps. owner very humble. Very economical. 4£ for wrap, 6£ for meal with drink & chips. It halal as well so this food is for everyone.

The bread is baked fresh in front of you not reheated. The salad is made fresh same day and that goes with the meat and chicken. Clean and fresh. Generous size but cheap too. That is why this place is popular and not food is left for next day reheating as in other places.

We do enjoy coming here as it goes! Out shopping in Colchester Town yesterday & as we nearly finished, my better half asked if I fancied shawerma? Silly question, as of course I do, off we went.. The shop is very close to town indeed & as you enter the food bar is on the right, you can see the fresh salad items & the delicious lamb & chicken kebabs cooking. We ordered two mixed shawermas, portion chips & can of fruity twist Fanta, to eat in (you can also order as takeout as well). Mine had red cabbage, onion & pickles with garlic sauce,, my other half had his with salad & chilli sauce. The shawerma was absolutely yummmmmy & the chips were very fresh indeed, crispy outside & fluffy inner, lovely with a dollop of ketchup! They make there own wraps here which are simply delicious, they also make various types of other menu items. Do drop in if you're ever in Colchester Essex as I highly recommend them. Enjoy!! Extremely tasty and fresh lamb, chicken and flafel wraps. The unique thing is that they bake the wrap bread fresh there and them. And the meat is fresh and authentic. You dont have to go to London to get an authentic shawarmah. And the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is a little shabby hence the 4 stars. But we would definitely go back again.

My go to place for shawarma in Colchester, heavily underrated and most people dont know about it. Truly a hidden gem. The name doesn't lie, everyday they make fresh batch of shawarma meat which literally sells out by the end of the day. The best thing is the fresh made naan they serve with the meat, literally made in front of your eyes and has such a soft fluffy texture with amazing taste. Accompanied by the meat and fresh selection of salad, it's a treat for your tastebuds!! If you want to experience authentic shawarma at an amazing price then get yourself down here ASAP. Staff are always friendly and clearly love what they do, shout out to them!
