J. Q.Wow. Great food, mid tier prices. I ordered the double bacon cheese burger, my friend had the doner kebab and we shared some supersize fries. Wow. It was a lot of food and I wasn't sure I would finish it but I did, which can only mean one thing: it was delicious. The service was good as well. Definitely coming here again but I will have to order less next time! They also do deals so check their social media pages. Also, maybe it's obvious but this is a fully vegan restaurant, which I love.
J. G.Visited this town today and headed for the vegan cafe. A wide selection of ethnical vegan food. Various options including many gluten free. Both junk food and healthy options but all delicious. Nice seating area and friendly staff.We can all eat great tasting food without harming other beings and our environment. cant wait to go again. 💚
V. H.Ate lunch here today. We've been looking forward to visiting for a while and we were not disappointed! The menu choice is amazing! So much choice. We had the seitan doner kebab which came with chips, the crispy chick'n fillet burger and tortilla chips with nacho cheese. Everything was really tasty and portion sizes great. Especially the kebab.
Staff were very friendly too. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. Amazing vegan food and great for non vegans too! You will not be disappointed.

O.Best vegan fast food ive had in a longgg time and thers so many choices. Its very reasonably priced and plenty of space to sit as well! 100% will be returning as a regular. Also the wings are very reminiscent of a certain colonel's... So good.

We stumbled across this place on our way back to London this and it didn’t disappoint. The staff brilliant, really friendly and welcoming, very personable. Its great to have some legitimate vegan fast food. There is constant additions to the menu, this place is a must.

He couldn't take payments/orders on the phone but he was kind enough to help me order through the app! the food was delivered and was given importance and they even added some dessert for free!!! GREAT JOB AT HANKS COLCHESTER! Amazing management and staff!!

A. T.I live in London so am used to having a good selection of vegan options available but I was nonetheless absolutely blown away by the range and quality of Hank's food! They have a huge selection of burgers, wraps, hotdogs , dirty fries and much more! Everything we had was delicious and super convincing meat alternatives. And to top it off Food was prepared super quick by friendly and enthusiastic servers ! Would 100% recommend them to anyone regardless of their dietary choices and will be looking forward to my next visit into town!

J. H.Would rate over five stars if I could. Who knew vegan food could be so good? After several visits I can safely say The Big Hank is the dish to try. Staff are friendly and able to accommodate changes (e.g. no cheese) and there's seating upstairs, downstairs and outside. Prices are good, the menu is varied and I was surprised by the array of desserts in-store too. Definitely worth a trip, vegan or not.
