The restaurant was a really nice size. It was modern with brightly coloured seating and walls. The staff were accommodating and friendly. They had a good selection of food on the menu and also had take away option. They had some nice beers wines and spirits to choose from too. They were kind enough to place a candle in the curry for my partners birthday as they were not having a cake and we were not staying for dessert. The food was tasty and the bagged up the leftovers upon my request as I had left a lot uneaten.

We've had a few takeaways from here and always enjoyed them and we thought we'd try a dine-in. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent. The aromas and tastes were even better than the takeaway. I'm not a 'hot' curry person and have found in the past that other Indian restaurants loose flavours by putting too many spices in them. Not at Jhall. The flavours were expertly balanced and made my mouth water. It was a Saturday night and we went early, about 6pm, so it wasn't crowded at all. We were well looked after and never felt rushed or forgotten about. We will definitely be going back as well as getting take-aways.

Came in to jhaal for dinner for a birthday meal was our first time here will be back. The food was amazing, big portions could not fault anything , the staff were brilliant very accommodating,welcoming, the restaurant was clean .

Jhaal had been recommended to me by a friend who likes Indian food. Id always bought Chinese before, but fancied a change, so took his recommendation to go to Jhaal. The guy in the restaurant was super helpful, and put together a fantastic and varied takeaway vegetarian meal. I can tell you it was a treat for the taste buds. The variety, flavours and quality of the food was just superb. I also treated myself to a nice cold Cobra beer to go with it. So if you're looking for some great food.. give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

We went here for dinner last night with my family for a birthday meal and the food was very delicious and staff were really friendly. All of us said we will definitely be going back again. There is a handy car park out the back as well but the parking along the main road is free / no restrictions after 6pm

Lovely evening out with a bunch of friends recently. The restaurant made us very welcome and there was the widest range of menu choices I've ever seen in an Indian restaurant. Good food, well prepared and tasty, as well as being reasonably priced, so what's not to like? Definitely be back.

Amazing food, best Biryani I’ve ever had everything was fresh and so much food we couldn’t finish! Only ever used for takeaways before tonight and never been disappointed but sat in today and was perfect I would highly recommend!

Food was really good as usual but a couple of things I found irritating. They didn't seem to have the details for our booking that I'd done weeks in advance online, which meant they put us down one end and then put people right on top of us, so no covid distancing. Lastly I find that you get a much better standard of food when you eat in than when you order a takeaway, the size of the Samosa's for instance are much larger (or more full) than when you get a takeaway.

The service here is very good. Professional staff with professional manners. The is unlike any other Indian restaurant in this town, the food is not swimming in oil. It arrives within a sensible time and is hot. The premises are clean with a bright setting throughout the restaurant. Believe me...you won't be disappointed.

Genuinely pleased and after recent experiences with other curry houses, rather surprised at just how good the food was. Not at all oily. Beautifully balanced, fresh flavours. Generous portions. I hope the next time is as good so I can call this my regular.

Great food, great service, very prompt. Clean, well spaced tables, staff masked and gloved. Antibac readily available. The staff were very friendly, especially Sha. Meal wheeled to table on a trolley for customer to self-serve. One way entry system in place (exit via back door). The food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Will be going back for sure.

I really like this restaurant, been a few times. Theres so much to chose from and its all fresh. Theres vegan, veggie and an abundance of meaty options. The staff are super friendly and keep your table tidy and topped up its wonderful.
