Great fish and chip bar. Scampi is excellent. Only thing to moan about is when ordering scampi they don't ask if you want tartar sauce and I don't always remember to add it. Apart from that nothing to worry about. Even the dog enjoys their sausages

Really friendly, fast service. It was Bank Holiday Monday, I had just finished a 12 hour shift starting at 06.30. Whilst driving home, hungry from Colchester to Halstead, was hoping they were open, they were. Delicious Cod n chips, large cod, which I shared with my daughter once home. Thanks😋

Lovely fish and chips, cooked to order as I went at lunch time. Nice white flaky fish not to heavy batter and lovely chips. Seems to be used by the locals so always a good sign. Pricing about £12.00 for two fish and chips has three sizes to choose from and all the usual chippie stuff.

Best chip shop in Essex! Haven’t had fish and chips for a while because I didn’t live near one. Recently moved to the area and I fell in love with this chippy. Excellent food, brilliant, friendly welcoming service. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Would highly recommend!!!

Had cod and chips, the fish was over cooked and hard the batter was also hard, very unpleasant. Both my husband and I were unable to eat the fish, with the price it cost you should be able to enjoy it.😡

Their microwave did not heat a frozen pie in the set time. I was very disappointed! They did kindly offer another pie with a different filling which was hot together with a full refund. Can't ask for more!
