Tried breakfast buffet. It’s worth for money due to few food items in it. The response of the staff is little delay and food serving also same. Items and taste: 1. Puri - very good 2. Went in to get a takeaway the lady there was very pleasant smiling and very friendly.. the good us top notched me and the girls enjoyed it so well. I had lamb curry the girls have butter cream chicken with rice.. very clean atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you 😊 🙏

We love going here for weekend unlimited breakfast. Obviously it becomes busy so the service is slow. I would give it a 5 star but some of the staff just need to be a little friendlier. Great value for money though.

After visiting Chennai Dosa Restaurant in Birmingham we became favourite for their breakfast. Since I am staying in Coventry we went again to Chennai Dosa Restaurant in Foleshill road, Coventry. The same quality and and same taste, we liked it the most. This time we ordered sambar idly and some kids breakfast and filter coffee. It was delicious.

Visited this place for the morning breakfast. The food was decent for the price . It was priced less for the amount of food option provided . It is not buffet system actually where you can have all the food unlimited rather we can have masala Dosa and the dosa unlimited. The poori ,pongal , upma ,vada and kaseri is limited and only served once . Overall the ambience was fresh and refreshing with friendly staff. Enjoy eating 😛

A typical indian style food place. That's what I want to tell you about this place. Of course they're doing great in business and I saw that while I was having dinner. The taste is great because there wasn't any indian restaurants nearby. The parotta, Tea and filter coffee here is super and affordable too. Other foods, I think it is good too. I will definitely try other items too. Chicken Chettinad is not upto the mark. Don't expect the same taste as your hometown

Prices are nominal and sitting facilities are good. Small toilet facility but workable. No wheelchair access. Off road parking. Cash only which is a pain. £5-10pp pricing.

We had been here for a breakfast Deal for two. This deal covered idly, Vada, upma,Pongal,kesari with sambar, coconut chutney and tomato garlic chutney. Dosa and poori unlimited options were also part of the deal. Masala dosa and poori masala was ok in taste but can definitely try for once. Filter coffee and ginger tea tasted good too. One of the best for a South Indian breakfast buffet to try on any weekend. Customer Service by their team was really pleasant.

Food was served hot. It took a while to arrive but can imagine being freshly made it took time. Wasn't very busy. The prices are in line with the regular franchise pricing. The only downside was that the place is cash only which we only found out when paying and the cash machine nearby charges a fee. But would definitely go again at non busy times.

Good place for Indian food. Originally a south Indian restaurant but serves the best chole bhature in town. We had chole bhature, podi dosa, chicken kothu parotta and medu wada. Everything was really good except medu wada wasn't crispy enough. But overall a great place. The place also has unlimited breakfast on weekends and bank holidays.

Very good food, especially buffet. Worth for the cost. But the service is tooooooooo slow and the lean girl who serve is worst in serving she makes us feel like, we wait for prasadam in temples. But the other girl and guy in the buffet are good they bought us immediately what we ordered. The lean girl who serves avoids eye contact with us to avoid our table. And in week days when we went, we ordered for a masala fries she bought masala dosa. Even the guy in week days is also good in serving except the lean girl. My recommendation is don't order with her.

I was craving for dosa for a very long time and was very reluctant to trying new places, as Indian food takeaway in Coventry is an absolute nightmare. I then found chennai dosa on an evening walk, and decided to try it, seeing the many customers they have. That was the best food decision of my life. The mango lassi was IMMACULATE. My heart was full when I realised that it was alphonso mango in my mango lassi. Then came the special masala dosa, it was pure bliss. The sambar was delicious. All the chutneys were heart-warming. Overall, the dosa was amazing. Perfect spices and taste. Chicken briyani was tasty too. Perfect flavours. My experience overall was a 5/5. Will definately visit again.

Nice Place. We travel 25min and araived 2.15pm they take order and after 20min the waiter say we are going to close the shop 3.30pm and open again 5.00pm. food came around 3.00and we leave before 3.00pm. meantime 3 customers came but they couldn't take food. Management should arrange staff

Has amazing breakfast Thali option which serves variety of dishes at one go. Loved their dosa and medu wada. They also at times serve paan which is a refreshing combination of mouth freshener and digestive. Their Biryani combos are fantastic for group meals!!!

A nice place in Coventry to have some South Indian food. The place is clean and safe to have food in the restaurant. The staff were helpful, food was fresh and delicious. But do carry cash as they don't accept cards at the place and not free ATMs nearby. The restaurant also delivers through Just Eat and Deliveroo. Do recommend this place to try some varied and tasty dishes of South India!

Food is great here . But I need to add some details about child safety. By baby fell off the baby chair arrangement you guys had . He is fine now . But I don’t want this to happen to any other kid . Please buy a proper child seat . Hope you don’t ignore this matter. Thanks.

Absolutely fantastic service. Staff are very courteous and polite. I found hisham and bashir especially helpful. The food was very tasty. Proper traditional South Indian masala dosa. The chilli prawns were great too. I would highly recommend.

My review is about the buffet they provide on Weekends from 10-12. Food is very basic without any sophistication. The day I went, very few items were available. Vada had a sour taste, means the batter was old. Chutney was refrigerated, old as well. There was no sambar. Overall, I didn’t feel satisfied with the experience. As I said, this is only about the £5 morning buffet, I haven’t tried the regular food.

Visited this restaurant recently for lunch. Had ordered kids tiffin. The best kids South Indian meal till date. My son was even surprised when he found two little toys under the dosa. The spicy level of food is a bit too high. Gave me an upset stomach. Otherwise the service level and food was brilliant.

A decent place for authentic south Indian food. When we visited on a weekday at 2 PM , the place was reasonably crowded . The service was very slow, given that there were only 2 waiters. The wait for dosas was for about 30 intolerable minutes. This was after pointing out that guests who arrived after us were getting their dosas quicker. On the positive side, though , the food was tasty. And finally, only cash accepted!! Had to make a dash to the neighbouring ATM. Summary- An ok place - don't expect quick service. An average kind of eating place. Would recommend their sambar vada over their dosas any day.

The best buffet I've had in a long long time around this area. Truly authentic South Indian food. The food was amazing.. The buffet had 2 nonveg curries... One lamb and the other chicken. Excellent hidden gem in Coventry for food, dont let the location put you off. The keema dosa is my go to. Love taking my family and friends here, and my mums favourite place to go when she was around. Only criticism is that they encourage to eat with hands but people dont want to get their hands dirty especially poeple with autism but they willl always provide cutlery if asked.
